What's Stopping You From the Success that You So Desire? Is It Your Mindset or Your Skillset? Continue Reading...
It takes much more than a set of investing skills. All millionaires have something in common: a strong mindset built for success, with self discipline and focus. Most of the times we don't even realise it, but our own thoughts are holding us back. We have the will and ability to dream, and yet we wonder why we can't be more successful. The answer to this is the kind of thoughts we produce. If deep down we don't think we can do it, then we will never do it.
To achieve breakthroughs in any area of your life, you must commit to the growth mindset. A fixed mindset will leave you the same 5 years later as you are today. Progress is Happiness. This book "Growth Mindset" plunges deep into your mind. It teaches you how to change your thoughts and shapes them to attract the things you want in your life.
"Once Your Mindset Changes, Everything On The Outside Will Change Along With It." - Steve Maraboli
Successful people all have one thing in common. They are evolving every single day. As the saying goes: "if you're not growing, you're DYING". The number 1 characteristic among Fortune 500 millionaires, is their Kaizen, or "constant and never ending improvement" attitude. Once you learn how to master your thoughts, and how to shape your thoughts into one of a growth mindset, your dreams will feel closer than ever.
Don't let your thoughts hold you back. If you don't believe in yourself, who will? The first step towards success is confidence and focus on your goals. Don't underestimate the power of your thoughts. This will be the greatest discovery of your life, the power within yourself.

I listened to this through scribd and while it wasn't that helpful, it at least reaffirmed that I have a healthy attitude about how to be successful. I also thought as I was listening to it that it would be great for a high school or college student who needs to develop a growth mindset so I ended up buying a copy to give to my teenage sons.
This book falls into the category of "I already know everything you are going to say, but it feels nice to hear." It's your standard self-help style book, a good message and thankfully doesn't come off as overbearing.
Don't bother. You'd be better off with reading a book with some content than this book saying things you already know. Also I didn't get why he was wandering on so long about the difference between a fixed and a growth mindset.
A short book most likely read by someone with a growth mindset... Which means you already know what he's going to say. Still, a quick read/listen if you need a reminder or some encouragement.
Growth Mindset: 7 Secrets to Destroy Your Fixed Mindset and Tap into Your Psychology of Success with Self Discipline, Emotional Intelligence, and Self Confidence — Timothy Willink/Narrator: Tom Haig (Introduction + 9 titled chapters) December 7, 2023
Again, the third book in a row with a very long title is a turn-off by this author.
The first chapter was an Introduction and laid out the book's goals.
Different narrator, but not as good, as pronunciations weren’t as good. I d
That I listened to this audiobook while I worked on coding (yeah, I know multitasking is bad) lets you know how easy it is to comprehend while doing other things.
Chapter breakdown follows as: 1. Beginning Credits. 2. Introduction 3. The Core of Self-Discipline: Willpower 4. How Stress Can Effect Your Willpower 5. Planning: How to See Things Through to the End 6. End Credits
This was an upgrade from the last audiobook by this author. Well thought out, and I did learn a few new things.
The main idea of the book is that people with a fixed mindset overindex on external factors and do not believe they can achieve their goals. While people with a growth mindset have high self-efficacy and aren’t afraid to experience and learn from failure. However, that’s basically the whole book, which makes this yet another book that could’ve been an article. Also, the author doesn’t present any data or research, or go beyond simply stating his opinion. Which makes it something similar to a overly-lengthy TED talk.
