One hot lumberjack, a rustic cabin in the woods, whipped cream and lattes, princes, magic, and fairy wings. This is not the vacation I wanted, but it might be the one I need.
Jenny After a broken heart, I had to get away from the city. Escaping to a cabin in the woods deep into autumn sounded perfect. Peace. Solitude. Just me, my books, and my coffee fix. Next thing I know a gorgeous man chainsawing downed trees is sweeping me off my feet.
Literally, as it turns out he’s a fairy. Not just any fairy either. No, he’s a freaking Prince in exile.
Now I’m trapped in the kingdom of the autumn fairies while assassins lurk in every shadow. Every day Scott, who rose to fill in for the ill King, slips further from me. Time is ticking and soon I’ll have to return home. The question is will the once-disgraced Prince, sweet as caramel and sinful as cinnamon, come with me.
Scott There are few regrets I wear harder in my heart than what led me to abandon my throne, my people, my kingdom. When I was banished to the human realm, I thought to live out my days protecting the forests. That changed the day this breathtaking human in leggings approached me.
In her, I found that which I thought was lost forever, home. It doesn’t hurt that she’s got a body worthy of worship either.
I never anticipated a return to my kingdom, much less dragging a human with me. Now, I have an opportunity to regain everything I lost. But, after all this time I find myself wondering if being king of the autumn fairies is what I truly want or if my heart aches for another.
This novella is a celebration of all things autumn. Grab a blanket, pour yourself a warm drink, and snuggle by the fire to fall in love.
Ellen Mint adores the adorkable heroes who charm with their shy smiles and heroines that pack a punch. She recently won the Top Ten Handmaid's Challenge on Wattpad where hers was chosen by Margaret Atwood. Her books, Undercover Siren and Fever are available at Amazon as well as a short story in the Lucky Between The Sheets anthology. Married, she lives in Nebraska with her dog named after Granny Weatherwax. Her hobbies include gaming, painting, and halloween prop making. The basement is full of skeletons because they ran out of room in the closets.
PSL by Ellen Mint is such an awesome story to read. This is book numbr two in this awesome series that I have loved reading very much and I can not wait to see what the author will write about next. I highly recomemnd this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romances.

Jump into this autumn paranormal romance story and get all the seasonal vibes with a hot lumberjack, a noisy neighbor, and a paranormal fantasy romance. This story isn't what I expected, but it was an interesting read. This story is very fairytale-like, with the two characters, two different worlds, and general themes in the story. I like that the author includes so much seasonal detail and a story that captures your attention. The jump between paranormal and fantasy wasn't very graceful, but it made sense in the end. I liked the story's overall plot and thought the author did an intriguing job connecting the two worlds in which the story takes place. I found the characters inconsistent and the intimate scenes to be choppy. The conversations were touch and go. Some made sense, and some you had to read thru the lines to figure out what the characters were saying. I think the first few words, then thoughts, then a different end for most of the characters talking were challenging to understand and affected the flow of the story.
This story has all the autumn vibes, but I feel like the first start of the story is missing the build-up to the intimate scenes. There just wasn't enough there to feel the connection with the characters. I felt the surroundings and loved every minute of the autumn vibes described.
Jenny is starting her vacation in the autumn wood cozied up in her favorite oversize sweater and comfy socks, a book, and coffee; what more does a girl need?
She meets a mysterious man in the woods, causing racket that, of course, she must go check out. Scott is sarcastic and hot, and I don't think she noticed much south of his backside. However, intriguing things make me believe he is paranormal as he speaks.
Their interaction and conversations are very sarcastic but also intense. I think the intimacy in the book so far is very forced and didn't seem to happen on its own accord. They went from barely meeting to making out. Of course, the conversation has plenty of innuendoes as these neighbors become friends. This book gets steamy but not overly descriptive.
This book takes an unexpected turn as it becomes more fantasy-like. The scenes of this story feel choppy with half sentences and incomplete thoughts. Scott undergoes quite the transformation in this fantasy world, no longer the bumbling human instead, he is a confident prince. Our confident prince becomes a bit more unpoised as the story continues, reverting to his beginning of the story self.
This story has a bit of mystery and a suspenseful vibe as the winter fairy, autumn prince, and estranged brothers come into play. They discover the suspect, which isn't who I thought I was, but this love story fairytale goes back to the real world. Will love find a way to span the two worlds and bring them together?
This book ends sweet, and it was an exciting ending.

Recently dumped by her cheating boyfriend, Jenny runs to a cabin in the woods she's always found solace in. She needs to be out of the city, and away from all of her friends who will be at her ex-man's wedding. But when a chainsaw disturbs the sylvan peace and quiet she's enjoying, she investigates. She finds a lumberjack, a breath-taking specimen of prime man, and he sweeps her off her feet! Scott is just the thing to keep her mind off her troubles--until they get pulled into fairy land, and he has to explain to her that he's actually Prince Silvyn of the Luren Clan, and he's been deposed by his younger brother Rhys, then banished into the human world. Rhys also stole the fairy Silvyn loved, so he's suffering from as much heartache as Jenny. They're both on the rebound.
I appreciate the world-building that the author did, but I don't find royal conniving and plots very interesting. I also don't think that Scott/Silvyn showed Jenny as much regard for her feelings, as she did for his. She even had to meet the fairy queen both brothers wanted, only to find that Glacy would only talk to Jenny, to explain what has happened--and that Glacy adores only Rhys. There are poisonings, royal intrigue--and in-between, Jenny and Silven try to get some time alone for sexy times.
The sexy times are the parts I enjoyed the most. Ellen Mint has a way with words, to make the reader squirm along with the characters. Even when I'm not that invested in her characters, she reels me in with vivid descriptions, and makes me feel the ache the lovers do, for each other. I really wanted to give this book 3 1/2 stars, but no half stars allowed. If you like royal intrigue and some very steamy scenes that build a romance between a commoner and a prince, you'll enjoy this story.
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book that featured two different worlds for the characters. One on earth and one in the land of fairies. The story is unique and very well written. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details & colorful descriptions so rich & lively that they blend and flow smoothly. Ellen Mint is a brilliant author and delivered another fantastic story.
A very sweet, almost fairytale-like novel. Jenny escapes her harsh reality to enter a world of fairies with the Prince of Autumn. Together they solve the mystery of who tries to poison the king. But fairytales don't exist and Jenny returns to her world without Scott. Will she ever see him again? A wonderful story to read by a fire and see yourself in the lead

Jenny finds her prince in Scott, a chain saw wielding lumber jack. Scott thinks he wants to be King but when the chance arrives will he take it? Will Jenny ever find her happily ever after?
I usually dont read alot of fantasy, but I'm glad that I gave this book a chance. There's a little bit of everything in this read. ...suspense, drama, mystery, action, and romance. It definitely held my interest till the end.

As a kid I use to love the little rhyme. "if you go down to the woods today, you're in for a great surprise". Well this SURPRISE, comes in the form of a flannel clad muscled woodsman by the name of "SCOTT". Doesn't take long for the temperature to rise from the cool autumn day. So a woodsman that is not quite a woodsman. A jilted woman who just wants to escape and not have to face the world on what she currently feels is as the worst weekend of her life. the Appearance of a white stag, all dazzling in the moonlight and 'alakazam' huge explosion and they are no longer in the quaint little log cabin. I refuse to give you any more clues just read the book its a Fantasy Romance and a very enjoyable read.
This was a great book. Jenny was so lost in the world. Scott just wanted to go home. Together they started on an adventure that neither of them were expecting. She was dragged into his world not by choice. She needed to help him sort out all that he needed to do, and in the process almost killing her. When all was said and done, she realized that he was her soul mate and she was his. Great read.

This is a captivating story with strong characters in Jenny,a human and Scott a fairy prince. The author does a beautiful job developing their story and painting her scenes. She brings an emotional fantasy to life with realistic detail and weaves a page turner I couldn't put down. I loved and would highly recommend this book.

Loving a faery Prince and possible future King? On a week long vacation in a cabin in the woods, Jenny meets Scott. When they shelter in her cabin during a storm they grow close. But then Scott and Jenny are pulled away into another realm. The fairy realm where Scott is a Prince and was slated to be the next king if his brother hadn’t tricked him and banished him to Earth. But Scott’s former home is in trouble and his brother is sickly. Will Scott fix things and become the King he should have been, or will he return to Earth with Jenny. Because Jenny can’t stay long in Scott’s world or she will die. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. No form of outside commotion that was Jenny's rule for "get away from everything" only meeting a hot guy in the woods due to him cutting down trees just may throw a wrench in her plans. Being swapped away to a different realm wasn't what she had in mind though or maybe it is...after all fairies are REAL she learned. Now if only she can keep "Prince charming" Scott or will she loss him to his natural home? These characters have instant attraction with the twisting hurdles can Love find away... Scott and Jenny both have decision to make and there's only one out come. Great read. Really enjoyed this book.
Jenny is on a week long vacation. She is staying at a cabin in the woods where she meets Scott. A storm comes rolling in while Jenny and Scott are getting to know each other in the cabin. They have instant chemistry but Jenny is human and Scott is a fairy. Jenny can't live in the fairy realm for very long or she will die. Scott is a Prince in the fairy realm. Can they find a way to be together? Read this great book and find out!!
