Great book. This author gets it. If you have questions about this system read this book and then read Kuleck's assembly guide. You will be glad you did.

Excellent info in this book. Everyone from the complete novice to the seasoned AR owner can benefit from this book. Though I believe it's time for an updated edition that dispenses with a lot of the pre-ban/post-ban nonsense since there is no more ban for most states anyway.

Excellent treatment of the history, function, and other information regarding the AR-15 variant rifle. Dry and functional, but full of useful information and history of this battle rifle.
