That or she will go for a calming drive while listening to Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshal Mathers or The Rap God, whichever you would like to call him. Her kids are just like her, sarcastic, but fun loving. Raine & Gage are both doing what they have to do to survive. These two have endured a similarly rough upbringing. They’ve learned to take care of themselves and siblings at an early age. Despite their good intentions and beautiful hearts they’ve had to make some tough choices to survive.
Being at the right place at the right time, all it took was one glance. One glance that made them both realize that their lives have forever changed.
“His touch is both tender and demanding. He’s telling me without uttering a single word, that I belong to him.”
But Gage is not at a stage in his life conducive to a relationship. He asks Raine to wait, that he’ll send for her as soon as he can. Unfortunately, life doesn’t stand idle. It’s quickly taken over with murder, helicopter crashes, and a variety of mayhem that keeps them apart. Can these two defy the odds? Are they strong enough to make it through the onslaught of obstacles? If the connection and the steam they share is any indication, they know the rewards will make it all worthwhile. But is it enough?
The story has some incredible plot twists that just keep coming! Some of it was really suspenseful and intriguing and some seemed a bit far-fetched. But overall, it’s an entertaining story.

Raine hasn’t had an easy childhood after her dad left. Her mother tried the best she could but Raine had to find away to help support the family as a teen. One night she goes to local restaurant and runs into Gage. They’re attraction is immediate but will they act on it? Gage isn’t telling her everything just yet bug when he does how will she react?
