As soon as I finished this, I wanted to read it again. I relate to Jessyca's poems so much and her words are written so well, readers quickly get pulled in.
I had a hard time finishing this book as the beginning dragged and the writing was nothing specular. A lot of this book seems unnecessary and you almost don't see the really good poems mixed in. There were several that I enjoyed but the writing was very basic and made finishing the book hard.
You see it in her How she only wears jeans Sits and thinks before she speaks The way she justifies her tears And accepts less Every time You see how she only does this And never that She sees it too But she sees it in you ____________
Young And Dumb
We can sit and shake our head And regret our naivety But really What would we have to write about If we were never Young and dumb
There are so many amazing poems in this book and I can relate to them all. I read the whole thing in one sitting. You can just feel the pain that the author felt. To me, it's heart breaking and raw. Jessyca Thibault has a gift for putting her thoughts and feelings to paper. I can't wait for more of her work.
