I used to wish for him in the stars. Every night before bed I wished for one night with him. The one person I wasn’t allowed to have. A man eight years older than me. A man who’s been in my life since I was born. My brother’s best friend. Saint Delacore. He was my everything. My secret. No one knew I harbored this consuming crush for him. But I never thought I’d actually act on the dirty fantasies that I desperately wanted to be my reality. Until one trip. One night. One hotel room. One taste that left me damned. Damned to keep wanting him. Only, how much time did I really have with a man I wasn’t supposed to have?
Please note: This book does end on a cliffhanger and will be followed by two full length books featuring the same couple.
Sarah E. Green is a Florida girl through and through; she thrives in warm weather and hides from the cold. When she’s not writing at a cute café, you can either find her on the beach, marathoning tv shows, reading, or drinking all the wines and hard ciders with some of her favorite people. She’s a lover of history, mythology, and fluent in sarcasm. She’s a romantic at heart and is always thinking about what HEA to write next.
A brother's best friend, age gap romance that I did not expect to fully dive and fall head over for...
The prequel that I didn't think I needed but ended up diving fully deep into. A prequel that is the ultimate tease of what is to come for the next book. Maddy and Saint have officially engraved themselves into my heart with their palpable chemistry. It's their love and desires that at a time where both did not expect they would need each other, made itself present and arrived at the peak of time of their lives. I truly felt immersed into this story that I ended up over sleeping since I could not put this story down.
I am truly anxious to get my hands on the next story. I am so proud of Sarah and this fantastic novel she has written. Looking forward to diving into her next upcoming stories!

✨ ARC REVIEW ✨ Moonlit Temptation by Sarah E. Green
⭐⭐⭐⭐
I don't know what kind of cliffhanger I was expecting, but that was definitely NOT it. I was hooked on this book from the beginning. Sarah's writing is one to suck you into the story and forget your reading. Our main location is in London: 1 night, 1 week, 1 forbidden love & 1 dark secret meant to stay hidden.
Mady and Saint have a past together and Mady wants a future, but she doesn't think Saint sees her that way, I mean with an 8 year age gap and he's her brother's best friend - he's like family. But after that week in London? Anything is possible...she hopes.
Tropes:
🌕Brother's best friend 🌑Secret society 🌕Age Gap 🌑Forbidden love 🌕Cliffhanger 🌑A trip across the pond 🌕Prequel novella
While the secret society was a little off-putting at first (this is solely a personal reason and does not reflect the author's writing in any way), it adds such a mysterious aspect to our MMC, and the ending leaves you so ready to find out what happens next!
I can't wait to see what is next for Mady and Saint in the next installation, Midnight Deception.
🗓️ Set to release September 5, 2024, don't forget to pre-order your copy today!
Thank you to the author, @wordswithsarah for the eARC opportunity in exchange for my honest review!
If you’re thinking of reading this book, just do it. I found this book today (on release day!) and since I started reading it earlier I haven’t been able to put it down.
Moonlit Temptation is a brother’s best friend, forbidden romance, full of secret societies, lies and lust.
Sarah E. Green teases us with the perfect balance of chemistry, mystery and this sense of wanting what you can’t have. This prequel has certainly done what it was intended to and I think that Sarah has definitely a potential favourite romance author for me going forward.
Mady and Saint are everything I needed, it’s been quite a while since something has had my full attention like this, I felt connected to the characters straight away. I can’t wait for Midnight Deception, I simply must know what happens next!!!
I will post a fuller review once my thoughts have time to digest, but for now please read this book. I loved every page!
I ate it upppppp. if you want a quick but GOOD read, pick this one up. I mean, brother’s best friend, age gap, secret society… need I say more??? Well, I’m going to. I adore Mady so much! In my opinion, she’s the ideal FMC. She’s brave in the way of going after what she wants. She’s strong in the way she doesn’t conform. On top of that, she knows how to have a good time! Now Saint… oh Saint. He’s yummy, but he hurt me and I love him! By the end, it was just an angst punch to the chest and I’m left with f e e l i n g s. I need to get my greedy hands on their next book ASAP!
Damn, I loved this. This is a prequel so there will be more to their story and I can't freaking wait. Mady is a free bird trapped in a cage made by her father. She wants to be free, and for that week in London with Saint, she was. Thry had each other and that's all they needed. But reality comes a little too fast and things keep happening. Saint was so into her, the man was OBSESSED and I was here for it. He had everything he ever wanted but it was with Mady that he could finally breathe again. I loved them together, they were HOT and jut good for each other, right like fate. That cliffhanger was something. I can't wait to read more about their story
This was such an amazing book I did not put it down once picking it up , I absolutely love Saint and his mouth. 🫠 I definitely was swooning the entire time and I absolutely can not wait for the next book and to see where the relationship goes. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. You won’t regret picking this book up it’s all I’m able to think about since I finished I wasn’t ready to let the characters go. Enjoy the reading!! 🫶🏻
This is a Saint stan account!!! If Saint has no fans, I’m dead!! This book was genuinely so addicting from start to finish. Each time I had to put it down, I was constantly thinking about the next time I’d be able to pick it back up. The spice? Perfect. I was giggling and kicking my feet alongside Mady every time Saint opened his mouth!! I’m so excited to see where the story continues after that cliffhanger of an ending!
SOMEONE GIVE SAINT AN ORBIT RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS MANS MOUTH IS DIRTY.
This book will seriously keep you hooked the entire time. Every sentence is purposeful and not once did I find myself skimming or skipping over redundant paragraphs.
This spice was to perfection and the plot is unmatched.
ok, seems like we will be waiting for actual novel
It was fine. Had no idea it was a prequel, that’s on me. but cliffhanger with no release date and comments in post novel notes about some readers waiting over five years for this prequel? way too much time between releases no matter how good the book is.
I need more & I need it NOW 👏🏻 This book left me literally drooling & immediately ready to dive into the next in the series. Spicy. Suspenseful. Satisfying. Checked all of my boxes & can’t wait to get the rest of this series.
Mandy goes to London. Her brother canceled on her the last minute. He sends his best friend to take her out and show her the sights, and boy does he show her the SIGHTS!!! One week together and ??? Yes that how it goes … omg I can’t wait !!
~Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review~
Moonlit Temptation is a prequel to a new series, Love in Deceit, by Sarah E. Green. Joining Maddy on a birthday trip to London, I was taken on an unforgettable journey. The trip was supposed to be with her brother, but he abandoned her at the last moment. However, his best friend, her crush growing up, was there to keep her company during her first night there. It turned out to be a night to remember!
Let me tell you, this story had me completely hooked from start to finish!!!
The chemistry between the characters was so intense, it practically leapt off the pages. Their love, desires, and pain resonated with me throughout the entire book. I was so immersed that I read it all in one sitting!
The plot was incredibly captivating, with unexpected twists and turns that I didn't see coming, but I completely loved it!
"Moonlit Temptation" has set a great pace for the rest of the series, and I can't wait to read the rest of them! ^-^
