Sienna is the apple of her step brother’s eye. In fact, there is nothing that Grant Foster wouldn’t do to ensure her happiness. And for the past year as her acting guardian, their situation has been completely platonic. Although as their familiarity grows, it’s quickly becoming evident that Grant’s protectiveness hides his real feelings.
"And I have tried not to look. I’ve tried to be noble and keep away—and failed. I’m so fucking close to being done trying."
I really enjoyed the first half of this story, with the whole sexual build up crackling in the background. From innocent hugs to stolen touches. I even liked borderline creepy Grant with his obsessive tendencies towards his much younger step-sibling. And then the story kinda fell over. It became ludicrous and cringe worthy. Sienna turned into the bumbling idiot and Grant, well he just killed my joy.
"You’ll have a pussy full of Daddy’s love, little girl."

The fuck did I just read?? The writing genuinely felt like a 14 year old writing smut on wattpad. I had some hope at the beginning but it quickly went downhill when I realized how incredibly creepy Grant was and how cringey the steam was.
This is a taboo stepbrother May-December romance with Grant (33) and Sienna (18). Grant has been her guardian for the past year after her mother apparently abandoned her. She's in love with him and plots how to seduce him while he attempts to resist her. The plot became increasingly wilder as it went along. Grant is extremely possessive and controlling of Sienna and his "Princess" can do no wrong. He goes beyond the realm of reason to make her happy, such as building an entire school just for her and hiring twelve bodyguards to make sure no man even breathes in her direction. He's wealthy, of course, but also tragically cold and broken. Sienna is the only one to ever get through to him and they've had a nightly ritual since she was 17 of her hugging him while he runs his hands all over her. Grant, of course, has been lusting after her since the moment they met, when she was a minor, but evidently had enough morals not to touch her until she became 18 and her trust fund was no longer under his control. Ya know, so she wasn't dependent on him financially before he fucked her. 🤨🤔
Sienna is a virgin, of course, because why wouldn't she be, after all, in this wonderful plot. Poor girl has never even had an orgasm and requires Grant's help to figure it out. 🙄 But as if that didn't entice you enough, we get a "plot twist". . Sienna finds this romantic, he tells her he bought her an island, he essentially tells her they're getting married and then they fuck before running away to their island. Oh, and there's also some gag-inducing Daddy kink (and I really like that kink so that's saying something). The only reason I didn't DNF this was because I was laughing at the absurdity and wanted to see just how batshit weird it could get. As it turns out, very.

Omg this is one hot and slightly taboo story. And with a lack of Alexa Riley right now she’s helping me fill that gap!
Sienna has been lusting after and been in love with Grant since she was to him a year ago when their parents got married. Deciding that if she’s going to get him it’s time to play hardball but is she really prepared to unleash this beast and can she handle the man she loves?
Grant knew the day he set eyes on her and decides that he will find a way to make her his. But when she starts to tease him he’s not sure if he can hold himself back, could she really want her stepbrother, and how will she react when the full facts of how obsessed he is with her?
This is an author that never lets you down if you are looking for an uncontrollable, obsessive alpha male and a sweet heroine then this is a definite must read. Highly recommended book.

Oh Jessa Kane, only she can serve up a pallet cleansing novella quite like this! After reading over 2,000 pages of a fantasy series (that I fucking LOVED) I needed something quick and mindless and spicy to cure my book hangover! It hasn’t quite done that, but it was a nice bridge to other books. Nice little age gap step siblings sesh!

Step-siblings that dont act truly like siblings... Sienna who is already head over heels in love with him and Grant who loves her the same but is always pushing away for a reason.. even if she's 18.. we find out why near the end.. but its super short super taboo.. and tosses in tiny daddy kink and alittle roleplay..
No ow/om drama (unless you count some guy who tried to talk to her), no cheating, slight secondary chara, sexy time, virgin gal and no.manwhore

This was a great, classic Jessa Kane. I liked how there was a sort of build up before you found out Grants true feelings and why he was doing the things he did. It kept it interesting. His dirty talk was pretty great too. A reread for sure.

OMGGGGG! This novella was AMAZING!!!
I don’t know where to begin. The tension in the whole novella was great; maybe it was because it only had Sienna's POV, which gives the story extra tension in the "will they, won’t they". (The epilogue is from Grant's POV, just to seal the deal)
He is obsessed with her, he stalks her, and he is extra protective that he basically has her trapped in his mansion, so heads up if it's too much for you, but for me, it was necessary!!
My ONLY complaint is that even though it is a novella, they have a 3rd act breakup with miscommunication trope, which I hate. Ugh, I felt it so unnecessary, but it was resolved quickly.

En esta ocasión los protagonistas son hermanastros, aunque tranquil@, ambos se conocen cuando ya son adultos y nunca se han visto como hermanos porque la atracción es inmediata y el matrimonio de sus padres sucede en el momento en que comienza la historia (no es que hayan estado saliendo durante años ni nada por el estilo).

Now about this quickie, I absolutely loved the 1st half, it was deliciously taboo. And while I didn't exactly hate the 2nd half I didn't love it either🤷♀️.
