WOW... this book has it all. It is thrilling, full of action, adventure, Intrigue, suspense. mystery, danger, romance just to name of few. Katherine/Katie Covington is the heiress to the Covington fortune. She is feisty, stubborn, determined, naïve, tender hearted, goal oriented and a romantic at heart. She is in Las Vegas for an accounting conference when she receives a disturbing phone call from her brother Bill. He informs her that her house is on fire. Bill said they suspect an ex of her brother Stephen a Monica Paisley. Katie rushes from the conference to her room to pack to get home in LA. She finds no flights available till the next day. She is desperate and looks for a rental car but has no luck. As she tries to figure out a way home she bumps into Nick Knowlton, an alpha male bad boy from high school. After a disagreement, Katie breaks down in tears. Nick offers her a ride home on the back of his motorcycle. Bill feels Katie is in danger and need protection. She decides Nick is the man for the job. Nick takes responsibility for Katie's protection. Yes Katie is in danger but no one realizes how much danger she really is in. This is an action thriller romance and an excellent read. I highly recommend it. You will be blow away. I could not put the book down. You will not be disappointed.

Finally we get to read Katherine's story - hooray! I was very excited when I read that this was going to be the next book after Patrick's, and I have definitely not been disappointed.

Katie has made cameo appearances in a number of her brothers stories, giving them advice and helping them out, so we have some idea of her character. Protecting the Billionaire is her story and what a story! Erin Swann has done it again, although Katie's story is very different to the previous three books (and although this can be read as a stand alone) there are links to the ongoing storyline that flows within the other books, and as a fan of this series really draws me back into their lives. Katie's story follows on from Book 3. It is an action packed and sexy read, with a number of twists and turns. Nick, Katie's hero and a blast from the past - wow! That is all I can say - this story takes a different turn, as Nick is already known to Katie, as they briefly went to high school together, although their past history is complex, curtesy of her older brothers! A chance meeting, as Katie's life explodes, sees their relationship take off and develop. The story is a page turner and if you have loved the other Covington stories, you will love Katie's.

Katherine Covington is the ‘princess’ of the Covington family. Overprotected by her brothers, Katherine is living what appears to be a perfect life with immense wealth, perfect clothes and make-up, a good job and great future.

The danger to the Covington family appears to be escalating, this time the target is Katherine. Distracted by a phone call with bad news from home, she walks right into Nick Knowlton, her high school crush. The motorcycle riding bad boy just disappeared one day and she hadn’t seen him since.

Nick is a brilliant, Harley riding computer nerd-hacker, and a one night stand kind of guy but Katherine longs to let her inner Katie’s personality loose and makes the choice to stay with Nick over accepting the stifling protection from her brothers. This relationship is HOT and I really thought I’d figured out who was trying to harm Katie. What a plot twist!

Katie and Nick’s story can be read as a stand alone, but the plot is better understood, I believe, if Erin’s book The Secret Billionaire is read first. (Every book in this series is great). I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Bad Boy and Princess

Katherine Covington got the terrible news that her house was burned down, and to her rescue comes an old friend from her past. Nick Knowlton was there with his Harley to give Katherine a ride, and make the good girl feel a little more wild.

Katherine was straight laced, but Katie was the side of her that loved pressing herself to the back of a bad boy on a motorcycle. There was a time when Nick was all she wanted, but her brother Liam changed all that.

Nick was happy to be there to be whatever Katie wanted or needed, and right now she needed a place to to stay and someone to keep her safe.

Katie thinks she might want more than just a place to stay from Nick. She missed him and he just got better looking, and she could tell he was attracted to her too.

This is a really good story about two people who seem to come from two different worlds, but both have a lot to offer and what the other needs.

This was well written and very romantic.

Katherine was sick of being the perfect sister and daughter, where had it got her, but bossed around by her brothers and taken advantage of by her boss. It was time for Katie to make decisions for her self and enjoy life and accepting a lift home with her high school crush on his motor bike was only the beginning. Patrick knew getting involved with Katherine was a mistake but saying no to Katie was not possible. He gave her a place to stay and made it his business to protect her and all the time telling himself that their relationship was just old friends with benefits. I found this an incredibly hot story of new beginnings, full of drama and unexpected twists.

Terrific!!
This is the next book in the Covington Billionaire's series. Katie is the only Covington sister with 4 very overprotective brothers. Nick is a white hat hacker and has a long history with the Covingtons going back to high school. When Katie's house is burned down and she needs to get home Nick gives her a ride from Las Vegas to LA on his motorcycle.Nick becomes Katie's protector when she bristles at her brother once agaon telling her what to do. It's time to live for herself instead of playing it safe for everyone else. Now if only Nick can keep her safe as someone continues t attack and threaten her. This was a great addition to the Covington Billionaires series. Can't wait for the next book.

Nick thought Katie was hot in high school and when her brother caught him with his hand up her skirt he was thrown out of school. Now he is a computer hacker – one of the good guys – he catches those who steal via hacking.
Katie has always been the good girl and done as she was told, but when her home is burnt to the ground and her brothers try to tell her what to do, she rebels! Going home with Nick and letting her reckless side out.
Together they try to solve who is after her and stop them, but it’s not just the arsonist they have to worry about, Katie’s peers are not happy with her association with Nick either.
This is a great story of opposites attracting and the fun they can have. I really enjoyed this book and would happily recommend it.

Great well written story with twists, and some hot sex scenes. Katie is an accounter with a rich family. She’s working on audit in a enterprise to finish her studies. After a conference, she meets Nick that she knew from high school and when she learns her house burned, he supports her and brings her back to Los Angeles. But then, Katie has to face different attacks. Katie and Nick are attracted, but he’s known as a bad boy that her family hates, and she’s known as a brat rich girl. But this portraits isn’t at all what they are. When Nick the hacker and ex con protects Katie, their relation evolves even if they thought that the other wants keep it casual.

Wow! Not much to say. It is an amazing read. The story is well written. Characters well described and likeable. The chemistry is over the top. The twists keeps you on the edge. I just had to read it in one setting. It is of a nice length and lacks no depth to it.
Nick and Katherine run into each other in Las Vegas where they are at conventions. Her home has been burned to the ground and now she has to get back as fast as posible. He offers her a ride. They have not seen each other for many years but what happens now? No spoilers here.
I like the writing style and the heart in the romance a lot. Absolutely awesome read.

Last we had heard was that Katherine’s house was on fire and expected to be a total loss thanks to that psycho woman after her brother. Nick volunteered to take her home and give her a place if she needed it. Neither of them expected how much she’d actually need that space, or what would become of it. They have fought tooth and nail to find out who’s behind her bad run of luck, but neither expected to fall in love during the whole ordeal. After many trials, these two finally get their HEA...and a little more than expected as well. I cannot wait to see what’s next with this family!

This series gets better with each book and I really loved Protecting the Billionaire from the first word to the last with unforgettable characters and a well-written story that included family drama, mystery, danger, intrigue and an opposites attract steamy romance. I enjoyed the dynamic between bad boy Nick Knowlton and billionaire Katie Covington. Erin Swann never disappoints and I look forward to reading more from this talented author. I received an advance reader copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my unbiased review. I liked the book so much, I purchased a copy to read again later.

There’s a major twist to this story that I’m not going to reveal since I want you to enjoy it as much as I did. Nick and Katherine run into each other in Las Vegas where they are each attending conventions. Once again, a keeper!

I recently discovered Erin Swann's books and put her in my top 10 authors list. The author's works are ones I keep handy for reading at will. Ms. Swann has a talent of writing a series where you anxiously anticipate the next in line.

I really liked this plot with so many twists and turns while being sweetly romantic. I think most women want a man like Nick and to be loved by him.

Well done, Ms. Swann. I'm now starting the next book in this series that I cannot put down!

One of my favorite books in the series!

I have read a number of books by this author and this book delivers everything I want from a contemporary romance.

The obstacles are real and not manufactured from the willful ignorance of the main characters. Even the almost obligatory dumb choice near the end fits the character and didn’t make me hurl silent insults about the stupidity. (Something that I admit to doing when warranted.)

I strongly recommend this and will be starting the next book immediately.

This a well written book with great characters that you will love. When Katherine is in Vegas for a conference her house burns down unable to find a way home Nick happens to be there on business and offers her a ride home. The house isn;t the only thing on fire. There is a syong chemistry between them and it heats up as they try to find out how her house burnt. I recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

There is nothing more satisfying than taking a certain villainous hero and throwing him into a high-pressure situation with a woman. Good girl vs. bad boy? Sign me up... It's even more fun when they've got history!
I so enjoyed reading Katie & Nick's story and have a book hangover in the best way :D
Hats off to Erin Swann who showed us how much fun you can have when you decide that you don't always have to be a lady

So far so good!

I started this set of books not realizing a sizzling series was in store for me. Aww I said so far so good in book one we are introduced to William Bill Covington who is forced in to the helm of his very well known families business . The story and stories that follow will make you laugh out loud. And having you search for tissues. Thank you for including us in on your superb and heart warming stories Erin Swann. I say well done well done indeed!

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I really enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, kindness, protection, and Falling in love. I really enjoy Nick and Katie story. I think they really made a very interesting couple. I think the author did an amazing job in putting these two characters together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Billionaires Hope Excellent read!

All the books in this particular series has been well written. I am going on now to the next one. The only thing I don’t like about this series or any series in the books I have read, is none of them is a stand alone book. A stand alone book would not delve into past books and go through previous things that ha happened…not good if it is a series say so if not a stand alone. Just had to have my say! 😊

What a great addition to the series. This is a standalone but does make reference to other characters in other books in the series. It is well written. interesting, has a great storyline with a twist. Katherine and Nick make a great couple.This book pulls you in and keeps your interest throughout. I enjoyed reading and can't wait to read the next in the series.

Now I had already met Katie from the role she played in Patrick's story, it was refreshing to here her take. I cried for her it was a bit puzzling but l was also hoping that Nick would have a win in solving who was stealing from the bank. But I must saw the plot did not disappoint, thoroughly enjoyed.

The Best

I have been reading this series, it was funny, sexy and the best of the series.
I had to laugh at the male characters and I needed to laugh yesterday afternoon.
I may have enjoyed it a little more than the other books because some of the interactions reminded me of my four brothers during my dating days minus the cash. LOL

I thought it was another great book by Swann. I didn't quite like Patrick's story but liked this one (just like I enjoyed Stephen's story). I liked that we got to see how Katie and Nick come to love each other. Hints of suspense in there. There are bits in this book that are a continuation from previous books so it's good to actually read the others first-not necessary though. 4.5 stars
