About the author

Joe Kitty’s is the seventh son from a family of twenty siblings. His early life was incredibly difficult, experiencing a variety of abuse that put him on a path that landed him in a juvenile detention facility. As a young adult, he suffered from severe symptoms of PTSD and with a lot of self-help and spiritual books, he was able to overcome; at least enough to be a (barely) functioning adult.

Joe would go on to study the healing arts, including massage therapy, energy healing, and shamanism. Through these healing practices, and with great courage and perseverance, he was given the personal healing and insights into understanding the wisdom, which would be the subject of his first book, Game of the Gods: Practical Wisdom for Living in the Modern World.

Today Joe creates visual art and coaches clients in practical ways to live more authentically to their true self and in understanding their own spirituality.

What an awesome book. As someone who has been on the spiritual path for a while and read many books along the way, I can honestly say that this is a pertinent and unique work. The way this author approaches healing and growing is so distinctive. Many times I have read spiritual books and wishes that the authors would delve deeper into the issues we are facing today in the modern world. And I feel as though Mr. Kitty does this with grace. It is so refreshing to witness an author that does not try to provide quick fixes as well. This book is highly compassionate, informative, and rewarding. A plethora of topics are covered within this work. Due to this, I feel as though the book is beneficial no matter where one is at. I truly believe that anyone can find guidance and wisdom within The Game of the Gods. It's simply a must read!
