Riker Bittencourt and Raine are out for a night of fun when they unexpectedly end up at the same club. Riker is used to making an impression on women by his name alone. When Raine gives him a fake name, he doesn’t think much about it. Shortly after their encounter Riker comes to Raine’s rescue. Their connection takes off rather quickly. Raine gives Riker the belonging he has been searching for. Does Raine feel the same?.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Raine and Riker and does not let go. A chance encounter at a bar brings them together but Raine has issues that Riker cannot comprehend. Riker realizes that he needs this woman in his life and will do everything in his power to help her.

This was an interesting one for me because of the different layers to the story; Raine was carefree, Riker was organised and in a bit of a rut. Raine didn't react to Riker like most woman did and Riker identified her problem and supported her in dealing with it rather than trying to solve it all by himself. I liked their connection and chemistry and their HEA.

Riker and Raine randomly meet at a bar, then he continues to try and rescue her through all her self destructive behaviors. She’s the fun party girl and he’s entranced by her joy and her sorrow. This is a well written and steamy story, but the storyline is not at all for me.

Raine is in a bad place and addicted to alcohol. Luckily for her she meets Riker and he’s instantly attracted and protective of her. He’s committed to helping her and she finally agrees. Steamy with a sweet HEA.

Patience is a virtue with this billionaire who meet up with Raine. The trial of what happened between the two in this short book can make you shake your head. Very realistic situations. Good thing he had the money to cover the craziness and her imagination. petty good read. no cliff.

Enjoyable read.

While at a club party girl bubbly Raine bumps into rich guy Riker, he promptly comes to her rescue, but finds she got more going on under her bubbly persona.
