Menudo chasco me he llevado con este libro, lo empecé con ganas porque hacia siglos que no leía una novela de romance paranormal con seres sobrenaturales como protagonistas, además la sinopsis me atrajo irremediablemente... pero todo ha sido un despropósito, no hay nada que pueda rescatar y me molesta mucho porque la premisa era buena e iba con buena predisposición. Por cierto la sinopsis de la contraportada cuenta casi toda la novela, pero es que encima tiene un dato falso, pues ella nunca se queda embarazada y al descubrirlo me dejo loca.

Primero comentaros un poco de qué va el libro, pues trata sobre los hombres lobo, hay traiciones y venganzas, romance y erotismo. Los hombres lobos cargan con una maldición y hay algunos como Dex (uno de los protagonistas) que deciden no dejarse llevar por el lado sediento de sangre y otros que se entregan a la maldad y la matanza gustosamente. De esta manera, Rose se ve involucrada en todo este mundo y la chispa saltara instantáneamente entre ellos.

Lo mejor para mí del libro es que se lee muy rápido, es ameno y ligerito y en esto influye la pluma de la autora que es directa y sencilla, además el libro es corto así que todo se suma para que sea una lectura de un par de tardes. También esta bien que vayan alternándose las perspectivas de ambos protagonistas porque así se conoce un poco más de todo lo que está pasando.

This is the story of Dex who has been turned into a werewolf many years ago. He has struggled with happened to him and how he has dealt with the curse. He believes is controlling himself and only taking another life when necessary. One night Rose is packing her apartment to move and hears a growling nose at the trash can and does not know what to make of it. Rose has had several other experiences where she hears and feels something close by her and then one night she is attacked and Rose does not know what to do so she goes home and Dex ends up trying to help her understand what is going on. Rose is not ready to deal with what has happened to her and pushes Dex away. With the werewolf that has turned Rose into a shifter tries to get another bite on her Dex stops it to keep him from claiming her as his bride and making her do things she does not want to. Rose finally takes Dex up on his offer to help her and they genuinely have feelings for one another and then they start a relationship. When trouble comes from the coven of werewolf's Dex and Rose try to find a way to keep Rose safe and unclaimed by this evil werewolf. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Una novela muy entretenida. Nos cuenta la historia de un muchacho que fue convertido en Lobo pero decidió no dejar que la maldición lo gobernara, Y en vez de matar personas mejor salvar la de otros por lobos que sí se dejaron gobernar por la maldición. Un día se muda a su edificio una chica que le enseña que si es posible que conozca lo que es el amor verdadero. Me ha gustado a pesar de todas las escenas de sexo que tiene. A veces da la sensación de que la trama tiene poca profundidad y se concentra más en esas escenas de sexo, pero me ha gustado, los personajes también me han gustado, los encontré bien desarrollados. Una trama de romance paranormal, hombres lobos, amistad sexo, ambición, maldad.

Werewolf romance

I was a little thrown off by the phrase "keep the family together." I thought it meant this would be a surprise pregnancy book or there would be kids. I was a little disappointed there wasn't any of those things. The plot was interesting and I enjoyed the characters.

La autora es un misterio que con este libro autoconclusivo ha echo que me replantee nueva favorita , tiene todos los elementos que debe tener una novela del género, portada insinuante que adoro, narración con ritmo en creciciente ,evolución en el nudo , un romance lento a pesar de ser una lectura corta de 193 páginas. También cabe resaltar que durante los 31 capítulos va alternando la narración entre Rose y Dex ,la pareja protagonista ,por lo tanto la profundidad es mayor y se conoce bien a los dos ,algo que me gusta mucho para empatizar y comprender lo que pasa en la historia. Va haber varios secundarios ,sin embargo el centro de la trama recae sobre la pareja ,lo que les sucede ,más un suspense que me ha gustado como se ha desarrollado ,aunque hay una escena que la he visto un poco metida a presión.
Y ahora vamos al tema candente que lo hay y mucho 😏 es una novela de alto contenido erótico , escenas húmedas, explicitas y que pueden hacer que aulles a la luna por si viene un lobito jajajaja Me ha encantado leer esas escenas por lo que advierto que hay una poderosa arma de 25 cm lista para hacer que el lector ponga los ojos en blanco , suba la temperatura y caiga rendida de deseo por seguir leyendo ,no ,no mires alrededor ,son armas ocultas al ojo humano ,por lo que tienes que leer sí o sí a la autora.SALVADA POR EL LOBO es una novela de romance paranormal sobre una mujer que es atacada por un animal y que gracias a un nuevo amigo Dex , entra en una espiral de deseo y amor con resultados inesperados. Suspense junto a una pareja protagonista que lucha en una pelea sin cuartel por sentir lo que es el AMOR con las emociones a flor de piel ...o pelo.

It was okay.

I really wanted to love this book after seeing all of the great reviews, but there were too many things wrong with it. Spelling and grammar issues aside, there were some glaring plot issues.

Nothing bothers me more than an author who forgets what they’ve written. And in this book it happened twice (that I noticed). First was how she went to the movies with both Dana and Callie and told them both about the robe incident. Then, maybe 20 pages later, Dana says she’s been out of the loop and hasn’t heard about Dex or the robe incident... but she was definitely in the scene where they went to the movies. Then, she forgot which friend she killed off, unless she killed them both and forgot to tell us. Callie calls to say that Dana is dead. And then, not too many pages later, Dex says that the bloodthirsty wolf is what killed Callie... but it was Dana who died.
And why even bring Eric back in the end? It added nothing to the plot and was completely pointless.
Oh, and the Facebook ad that got me interested in this story said that she was pregnant. That was a lie! Kept expecting her to get pregnant, but it NEVER HAPPENED.

Decent plot but grammatical and spelling errors

I didn't even get a full 3% into the book before there was a spelling error. There are punctuation errors, sentences that run on or should be connected, commas in places that make no sense and throws you off the book entirely.

The plot and characters are great. It would be even better if you could get past the errors. In not into this type of book but was asked to read it by a friend. I'm quite sure I won't be reading anymore books that friend asks of me. Even 'Bitten by My Teacher' had a similar plot and just as many errors. I've read both now and don't care for either. I'm not sure how one of these books could make top 20 in this state.

Please acquire a new editor as I think they just use a word processor to fix the book. That is a horrible idea and any good editor would know this. If you paid for the editor, if get your money back immediately.

Keep working on your books. I'm sure, with a lot more practice and effort, you could be a great writer.

Una novela corta con un alto contenido erótico que se lee muy rápido, un soplo de aire fresco con una historia que te atrapa desde el primer momento. Un lenguaje fluido y coloquial que hace la lectura amena aunque para algunos, no es mi caso, podría resultar algo obsceno y vulgar pero a veces me resulta muy satisfactorio. Me ha gustado el planteamiento tan real y bien explicado de los hombres lobo. Por ponerle algún pero la sinopsis se aleja bastante del argumento del libro ya que yo me quedé con las ganas de que procrearan y saber el futuro de la criatura y la maldición.
Narrada en primera persona por ambos protagonistas que ayuda a comprender mejor sus vivencias y empatizar con ellos.

So much no.... Nothing like the description and virtually the same basic characters as Mirajane's Bitten By My Teacher. Only major difference is instead of vampires, this one is based on werewolves. Hard pass on this one. Not sure if I will read any more of her books if they are just the same things with different names...

Horrible

Jumpy, poorly written, sloppy. This seemed like an excuse to jump from one poorly written sex scene to another with clunky dialog.

Dex and Rose are two turned werewolves from two different eras.
Dex tries keeping her safe from the evil werewolf who is determined to make her his even against her will.
Rose takes Dex up on his offer to reach her how to survive as a werewolf the fall for each other and start a life together but he has not claimed her as his yet.
With the other werewolf trying to get to her they are looking for answers to prevent the council from tearing them apart and handing her over to the one who bit her and caused her transformation.

Typical and I’m not impressed

This book should definitely be rewritten. The sentences don’t flow and the story is downright hard to read!
The FMC is a huge wuss who leading up to being bitten was repeating the same scene over and over and yet she kept putting herself in the same situation. I don’t recommend this book as it stands.

Libro cedido por Grupo Romance Editorial y Mayte Cabañas muchísimas gracias por tenerme en cuenta.
Este es mi primer libro de esta autora me a encantado muchísimo no es una historia de lobos como las de siempre que andan en manada o que viven en una parte específica etc. En este libro se cuenta la historia de Rosa y Dex, ella una chica universitaria toda una súper modeló respecto a su físico y descripción de la autora y él todo un bombón de hombre moja mantis.

Este libro me a encantado muchísimo pese a su alto contenido sexual hace una unión ligera y corta de leer por todo el drama por el que tienen que pasar estos protagonistas que los uno sin querer un lobo súper malvado y novato que se creía un alfa solo para tener mucho más poder y se inmortal este es Erick un chico que antes de ser lobo ya era muy malvado.

Esta historia me hizo sentir sus miedos, estrés, preocupaciones , me atrapó muchísimo ya que no es el típico libro de hombres lobos, es una historia muy bien escrita que te cuenta detalles perfectos para imaginar por todo lo que pasan y como es su entorno dejando a su paso con muchas ganas y ansias de saber mucho más de la historia donde la autora hace que te transporte a todo lo que viven los protagonistas y como deben vivir con la maldición de ser lobo e inmortal y con todos los prejuicios por lo cual para alcanzar la felicidad sus vidas dependen de la calidad de sus pensamientos...

Recomiendo a ojos cerrados esta historia...

Brilliant read

Dex a werewolf managed an apartment block which had his own apartment in he also watched for any werewolves who let the wolf over rule them and kill humans then he would end them to save the humanS. Dex overtime has learnt how to control his wolf and the urges to kill. Rose is moving into the empty apartment
after her best friend is getting married and her husband to be is moving into the house she rented a room in. Dex meets Rose on stairwell and there was instant attraction to her and her to him but he had a rule no relationships with tenants. Rose swears she is being followed by a beast and then it attacks her but doesn’t kill her just bites her. Rose walks into Dex door on way to her apartment after she was bitten he sees her and can smell the blood on her he knows what has happened he needs to help her. The wolf that has bitten her wants her for his mate to be her master to send her out and do killing while he takes the power of her for himself. Dex needs to explain and what happens next. Rose and Dex promises her that he will not let the other werewolf have her they need to get to the full moon as then he will lose control over her. They end up having to fight for their lives to stop the werewolf so Rose can be free of him and that leaves her to be able to love Dex as she has done from the very beginning as Rex has with her

Salvada por el lobo es el primer libro que leo de la autora y supongo que no está mal, sobre todo para los aficionados al género paranormal y de las novelas sobre hombres lobo, pero a mí no me ha terminado de convencer.
Me ha gustado que Mirajane nos muestre los puntos de vista de ambos personajes, en especial por el contraste que hay entre ellos ya que Rose es una estudiante que no tiene ni idea de que existen los hombres lobos y, de golpe y porrazo, se ve inmersa en un mundo, hasta ahora, desconocido para ella. En cambio, Dex es todo un veterano y le servirá de guía para desenvolverse en él.
Sin embargo, creo que la escritora abusa en exceso de las escenas eróticas porque los encuentros tórridos de la pareja se producen, incluso, sin venir a cuento, y lo cierto es que se me han hecho un poco pesados. Por otro lado, afirmar que cierta parte de la anatomía masculina tiene semejantes medidas no sé cómo tomármelo porque se pasa tres pueblos con la exageración y parece casi una broma.
Eso sí, reconozco que la portada es preciosa y llama mucho la atención.

He de decir que la narración del libro ha sido ligera y atrayente, aun asi es un libro que parece haber sido escrito segun se le iba ocurriendo a la escritora.
Está claro que en una novela romántica o en este caso erótica, las historias de atracción entre los personajes es casi instantánea, pero la autora lo ha llevado al limite, olvidándose en indagar mas en el por qué de dicha atracción y en darnos a conocer a los personajes (Rose,Dex y Erik) para saber realmente que les lleva a actuar de ese modo entre ellos .
A mí personalmente me ha dejado con una sensación de novela inacabada, como si hubiera cogido las ideas y/o notas de los personajes y las hubiera metido entre las escenas eróticas (bastantes subidas de tono y con un lenguaje excesivamente vulgar para mi gusto) y con ello hubiera hecho el libro.

Rose moves into a new apartment while outside getting her boxes she hears growling and before she can get into her car she is attacked by a wolf and she is bitten on her hand, Dex who is the apartment manager and a werewolf hears a commotion outside his door he looks out and see’s Rose stumbling around he follows her inside her apartment and Dex see’s the bite on her hand and he tries to tell her that she has been bitten by a werewolf and that she will eventually change into one. The wolf that had bitten Rose wants her as his mate so he is not finished with Rose but will Dex be able to keep Rose safe?. A great story and I recommend this book.

El libro me ha gustado mucho, es una novela rápida y ligera que te mantiene enganchado desde el principio, lo he leído en apenas dos días, así que me parece, por el precio que tiene, un libro ideal para pasar un buen fin de semana disfrutando de la lectura.
Una de las cosas que más me han gustado es que plantea el mundo de los hombres lobo de una manera totalmente diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados, lo que la hace diferente y llamativa para el lector del género paranormal que siempre lee sobre una base muy parecida.

Respecto a la edición, el libro es fluido y está muy bien narrado y editado, cosa que siempre es de agradecer.
Ha sido una buena lectura.

Gracias al grupo editorial romance por cederme el ejemplar, en esta historia conocemos a Rose y Dex ella es una chica normal que vive con su mejor amiga y se independiza pero todo a su alrededor empieza a cambiar cuando escucha un gruñido de un animal feroz a su alrededor, Dex es el gerente del edificio al que Rose se va a mudar, ellos sienten una gran atracción desde que se conocen y el luchará por salvarla y protegerla de ese ser que la está rondando, es un libro fácil de leer con alto contenido erótico, donde los protagonistas tendrán que sortear varios obstáculos para estar juntos.

First off the description isn’t right. He didn’t have a pack that was mentioned. She wasn’t his client. She wasn’t pregnant!!!! Dex was turned 50 years ago but when telling Rose about it he said when he was turned he researched it online!!! I didnt know the internet was around that long but..... misspellings all through the book. It never explained why the villian wanted Rose so bad. He just did. No back story to it nothing. Finally Dex was a horrible hero. He came across as a very wimpy man. Not at all what I expected.

Saved by the Wolf by Mirajane is an enjoyable read. Rose, main female character, is attacked by a werewolf while packing her apartment to move. Dex, the handyman at Rose's apartment is a werewolf having been attacked many years ago tries to help Rose deal with what has happened to her but at first she refuses to accept that there are werewolves and she will become one. This is an enjoyable and interesting read. I enjoyed this authors style of writing and plan to read move of her books. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Unlike any shifter story I read disappointing

If you're into shifter stories you'll be very disappointed with this one . The only saving grace in this book was the hero DeX his character was nicely portrayed. I didn't enjoy the story line and it seemed that the writer kept on throwin steamy scenes here and there just to make the story longer. Those scenes were probably more thought out than the whole storyline. It just didn't make any sense in comparison to all the other were books I read..........

Me ha gustado la historia, si, pero me ha faltado algo más de profundidad en la trama, conocer un poco más de los motivos que tienen algunos personajes para hacer las cosas que hacen.
A pesar de ello, tengo que admitir que, es un libro que engancha, fácil de leer y con algún momento muy caliente, pero que muuuuy caliente ;)
Los personajes son sencillos y eso hace fácil empatizar con ellos, aunque lo mejor es la vuelta que se le da a la figura del hombre lobo en la novela romántica, pues no es para nada lo que estoy acostumbrada a ver.

La leí en un suspiro. Hubo detalles que no me convencieron pero en sí es una buena novela, que atrapa, se lee muy rápido y tiene un argumento novedoso (sobre todo por lo de la maldición de los hombres lobo)
Es erótica, demasiadas escenas de sexo para mi gusto pero es lo que tienen las novelas de este subgénero de la romántica.
Leeré otra novela de este nuevo mundo creado por Mirajane sin dudarlo.
Eso sí, me habría gustado que fuera más larga, que hubiera desarrollado más la trama central, las interacciones entre los protagonistas.

This is about a totally different werewolf. Dex is a werewolf who goes against the norm and is kind and caring hunting the evil werewolves in his town. Rose is a sweet girl bitten by an evil werewolf (Eric) to be his mate and make her evil also, but Dex helps her to keep her humanity. (He's in love with her) between them they fight Eric and love prevails.

The book is very well written and is very entertaining. Dex is a werewolf and he has alone for a long time. Being imortal makes friendfships more difficult.. Rose is a student and she is moving to live alone. But her life changes dramatically when an evil alfa werewolf whan'ts her to be his queen or more likely his slave.
