Darling, Dance with Me is a super cute and quick summer read. If you’re looking for something fun and flirty that has some laugh out loud moments, this is the book for you.

Kaci is in a new town getting ready to start college with her roommate/bestie, Candee. They decide before school starts, they’ll sign up for a zumba class to get in shape and have some fun. The thing is, Kaci accidentally signs them up for a kizomba dance class instead. That is where she meets Remi.

Remi is a dance instructor and though he and Kaci get off to a rocky start, with time, they start to hit it off. Remi has a lot going on in his life and things are complicated, but they can’t deny the chemistry between them. I love nothing more than a grumpy hero and that’s how Remi starts out. He’s my favorite of the book. I also really loved his little sister.

There was a lot I liked about this novella. There was a lot that happened in such a short story. Honestly, I think if it was a full length novel I would have liked it more, or if it would have had less going on. It felt to me that too much was packed in. Overall, I still had fun reading it. I liked Kaci, Remi, Nicholas and Candee and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

This is my first time reading a book by Aisling Magic, and I was not disappointed. I had a smile all while reading this cute summer read.

This book tells the story of Kaci, who's recently been cheated on, and Remi, the jerk dance instructor. Kaci has managed to accidentally sign herself and her friend up for Kizomba instead of Zumba, and after failing to get a refund, she'd forced to attend the dance lessons, which are thought by the jerk who refused to give her a refund. Only she is not prepared for the feelings that ignite within her for Remi.
description
“Since the first gift didn’t work according to plan. Let me do what I do best.” Remi holds my hands in his.
“Dancing?”
He shakes his head and drops a kiss on the tip of my nose. “No, darling. Dancing with you.”
Stay still, my heart.
“We don’t have any music,” I whisper, allowing myself to be pulled into his embrace.
“Let our heartbeats be the music.”

description
I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read and fell in love with the characters, especially Candee. She and Kaci had me laughing out loud. I think this would have been a solid 5 star if it had been a full-length novel, but even though this is a novella, a lot is happening, and the feelings between the main characters did not feel forced or rushed.

I look forward to reading more books by this author, and if you haven't read this book yet, pick it up!

3 - #DontCluckWithMe Stars!

Darling, Dance With Me offers up a quick YA/NA read, following Kaci’s first few weeks in a new town; Wishme pre starting college there. Her slightly annoying friend Candee, is also along for the ride in that she’s also going to be studying there too, and they are sharing a dorm room.

"You’ve got some interesting students here…"

With time to kill they decide to sign up for a Zumba class, Kaci makes a mistake in thinking Kizomba is the same thing. Turns out its not, and they end up in a dance class, something she’s not really up for, but with the ‘No Refunds’ policy ringing in her ears she sucks it up, and finds that she actually enjoys it. It doesn’t hurt that one of the instructors; Remi is pretty easy on the eye too, and he seems to only have eye’s for her…

"When it’s time to fly, you spread those wings wide, and you soar…"

This is the first book I have read from Aisling Magic, and in the main I enjoyed it, there was a lot going on for a book of this length and I think it may have been a better story if some of the background drama was taken out, or the book lengthened so it could be expanded on more. I liked Kaci and Remi together, and I would have liked the focus to have been more fully on them, Candee was a little OTT for me but then I am a woman in my forties and that is purely a personal preference.

Potential galore with Aisling Magic, so give her a try! I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for her.

3.5 'Dancing with you' Stars!
ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I always love to read a good romance novella and I have to say, I was happily impressed and highly entertained with Darling, Dance with Me. Aisling Magic gives us a romantic comedy, full of sweetness, sexual tension and all the emotions. Exactly the quick romantic treat that I needed right now!

I really loved the characters introduced, especially Kaci and Remi (of course!) and also Wylla, Candee and Nicholas. This crew was so loving and gave me plenty of laughing, romantic and emotional moments. I loved how the story was focused on dancing, how that affects differently in people and how it helps in so many ways. I loved the romance and the sweetness between the couple and I loved the familiar feel it brought with Wylla and Remi's situation.

I do have to say, being a novella, I always miss having the whole story developed because it sure was packed with so many things that I just wish I could know more about. I really connected with these group of characters and I would have loved to know more about them! I missed having Kaci and Remi's chemistry more developed too but still it was full of tension between them and it sure was sweet so I can't complain! Overall, Darling, Dance with Me was a quick, entertaining, summer novella that I am sure many romance lovers will enjoy!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Darling Dance With Me by Aislyn Magic was a cute, fun and fast- paced read. I usually struggle with novellas as there may not be sufficient character development or the story feels rushed. This was not the case with this story. The story which had a lot going on, featured a tightly written plot and we’ll developed characters.

In this book we meet college bound Kaci who recently broke up with her boyfriend, who cheated on her with her best friend. To get far away from the situation, she moved in to her dorm before her classes began. To keep her mind occupied, keep her boy in shape and meet new people, she signed up for Zumba classes at the prompting of her off the wall roommate. However, instead of Zumba she mistakenly signed up for Kizomba. (I had to Google this as it’s the first I am hearing of it). It was here she met the arrogant, but sexy and handsome dance instructor, Remi.

Their initial meeting did not go so well. Despite the attraction that sizzled between them, Kaci thought he was arrogant. However, the more time she spent in his company she learnt that first impressions are not necessarily correct.

I loved Kaci and Remi both as individuals and as a couple. Remi had a lot going on in his life and my heart broke for him. Kaci too had her share of issues.

I enjoyed this heart-warming, fun and sweet story. I fell in love with the characters featured in this story. They evoked feelings of sympathy and laughter. My favourite being Candee, Kaci’s friend and roommate. I also loved the romance which developed between the main characters.

Overall, I enjoyed Darling Dance With Me. If you are for a quick and fun summer read, then look no further. I would definitely read more from this author.

So cute.

I really enjoyed this short book I wish it was longer. The story was so good it had my laughing and sad in parts. I luvd Kaci and Remi together they were perfect. They have both been through some hard times and they both wanted to start a new life. Kaci was dealing with a cheating boyfriend and just needed to college on a clean slate. With her fun luving new roommate Candee she would have a great time. Candee is a brilliant character i would luv more of her she had my laughing throughout the book. She brought out the best side in Kaci and got her to do things she would never do. This is how she ended up meeting the very handsome Remi.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

Remi is gorgeous and from the start I liked him. Life hasn't been great but he still kept his head up and dealt with what was thrown at him. With his luv of dance it was his release and him teaching people got him to meet all types of people and couples. He was a fun luving guy and passionate about what he does. I really liked how he meet Kaci it was so funny and not the best start but it ended up turning out more than good.

I really luvd this book like I said I wished it was longer but it didn't effect the story at all. I just wanted more of these great characters. The story flowed really well and was great from the start to finish. I would highly recommend this book and this author. It's only her second book but I have to say I've luvd both books so much. Her writing is great and her stories suck me in from the start. I can't wait to see what else she is goin to do.

This is a cute and sweet novella that was a perfect weekend read for me :)

Kaci has decided to move into her dorm early, before college starts, after breaking up with her cheating boyfriend. Along with her best friend Candee, they sign up for a Zumba class so they can keep fit and hopefully meet new people. Only, the class was not zumba but a dance class with a more sensual feel to it

Kaci has always loved dancing, just like her mother. However, her father has always been completely against it. It’s a weird thing to be so negative about when there are plenty of other things to worry about as a parent. It ends up being a very fortuitous mistake though when she meets her instructor Remi.

Initially Kaci decides she doesn’t like him at all. She finds him completely arrogant but when he calls her darling, his rumbly voice does things to her that feels so good. Remi has that brooding thing going on but underneath it all is a really sweet and amazing guy. When Kaci gets to know him more and learns more about his family life she likes him even more.

Remi has a lot to deal with at home and having Kaci in his life is one of the good things he has. He knows they have something special building between them and he wants to explore where this will go with Kaci.

This story felt so much longer than a novella, there is a lot happening and it was like a full length novel. I loved the banter between Kaci and Candee, there was no mouth filter when these two were together.

‘He takes my hands into his, and his touch is everything. It makes me twitch. It makes me warm. It makes my heart gallop. ‘Darling, dance with me.’

Darling, Dance With Me is a short story that I enjoyed reading. Kaci and Remi is quite an interesting pair. The attraction was instant but it took sometimes for them to act on it. The dialogue was great and the character development was rather good for a novella. If you're looking for a quick, light read, I recommend this one.

What a pleasant surprise ...
This book is fantastic: funny, easy to read, sweet, with a little angsty moment that made my heart beating faster.
Kaci & Remi have a great connection;
and i fell in love with Remi and his love for his family 🖤🖤
I would have liked a few more dance scenes between the two, given the theme of the book.
Even the side characters are interesting, especially Candee 😂😂
Gosh that woman is amazing and i hope to read her story sooner or later.
So if are looking for a summer story, this is the book for you !

3.5 #CLUCKING STARS

Kaci is a student and has just moved out into a new apartment in a new city. She and her roommate decide to enroll in a gym and specifically in a zumba class. However, they accidentally enroll in kizumba dance classes and they can't escape that. Remi is the hot tutor and there's chemistry and this intencity between them from the get go. However both of our characters have pasts and demons that will stand between them.

I always have a hard time reviewing novellas because I can never rate them with 5 stars, because I always feel like these short stories are rushed and I would prefer for them to have a full story. This one is no exception. It was nice and pleasant and I enjoyed it, but it still felt rushed and like too many things happened that I probably needed more information and details on them. Like why her father was so against dancing? Why was Nicholas avoiding Candee? Maybe the answers were obvious, but I felt like I needed more. Also the angsty part was too quick and sudden and everything seemed resolved at the same pace. It's a feeling I get with every novella, so it's nothing personal to this one.

I really love this author's writing, I'm looking forward to reading more books by her, because the writing style is very enjoyable and on point! If you need something quick and fun , look no further! You will fall in love with these characters, my personal favorite was definitely Wylla! Who's that you're asking? You'll have to read it to find out ;)

An absolutely beautiful summer read! This is my first book by Aisling Magic. I saw her book in Goodreads, and mailed her for an e-book. She was sweet enough to reply and sent me the book.

2. Find a remedy for this heartache because it’s not found in ice-cream, contrary to popular belief.
The plan is perfect.

This should be easy, right?

The synopsis sounds interesting right? Kaci accidentally signs herself in a Kizomba class. Her instructor Remi is a complete jerk but was funny too! The characters made me laugh a lot especially Candee. I’m not gonna give any more spoilers.
I wanted to see some more pages at the end otherwise it was a wholesome read.

Overall: I LOVED IT!!!!!

When I read the blurb for darling, dance with me I was intrigued as I love dancing and I hold it very close to my heart. Once I started reading the book I couldn't stop and I read in three sittings, I fell in love with the characters of the book and I cannot help but say I fell in love with candee before Kaci as her optimism, positive outlook on life and confidence leapt off the page and I really resonated with her as she reminds me of me and it made me love the book even more especially when Nicholas called her a little horror I had to laugh out loud. Secondly, REMI, that's it that the sentence, my gosh he was attractive and his one liners... #swoon

'Kaci we will kiss. But not now. We'll kiss when we're unable to stop ourselves from kissing each other'

That man has a way with words, and his chemistry with Kaci made hot under the cover normally I read book and the chemistry isn't conveyed to its full potential but Aisling Magic exceeded my expectations.

I love this book but I would die and come back again if she made it into a series, because I have questions, does Candee and Nicholas ever get together? Will Remi and Kaci find some alone time? What is happening with Remi and Wylla's Mother? How are Kaci's parents? I would also love some more character development for all of them because I am officially invested in this!

Thank you Aisling Magic for giving me the amazing opportunity of reading it!

Darling, Dance with Me is a good quick read. This one fun read. I loved the use of hashtags as chapter titles and at the end of the chapters, I thought they were cute and fun. Kaci is a sweet girl. Her ex has cheated on her so she goes off the college a little bit before classes start. She has a fun and little crazy roommate, Candee. They go to sign up for Zumba classes but accidentally sign up for Kizomba. I had no idea what Kizomba was so I looked it up and oh wow, it's mesmerizing to watch the vidoes of people dancing. Remi is their dance instructor. There's a connection between the two. Remi has a lot on his plate. He's sweet and nice but also had a side that had me a little mad at him but he makes up for it. I enjoyed this one and I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I enjoyed reading this novella very much. It was a sweet, fun and emotional story at the same time. Some parts made me laugh and some others made me feel sorry for the characters. I loved Kaci and Remi, and their relationship. I have to mention that Candee, Kaci's roommate, was really funny and she was one of the good things about this book.

This is my first read from the author and the book kind of surprised me. Full of friendship, romance, love and a little of suspense, this novella won’t be my last book from her.

After Kaci caught her boyfriend kissing her best friend, she left town to start college and finally start a new life, with new friends and free from her dad’s controlling ways. In college she meets Candee, her spontaneous, fun, crazy and a little stalker new roommate.

Together they enrolled in kizomba classes (it’s a kind of dance, new to me!) and they meet Remi the dance instructor and Nicholas the DJ, sometimes dancer and Remi’s cousin.

I laugh a lot with the interaction between the fourth of them. There was nothing that could change Candee’s mind that Nicholas is her soulmate and I hope we get to read their story. But Remi and Kaci story was a slow burn romance, full of emotions and I loved how they start to understand each other better as the story progressed and their compassion with one another was beautiful.

Remi had a rough life his parents put him through a lot and I felt a lot sorry about how he saw himself. His relation with his sister is definitely the most beautiful part of the book and I loved how Kaci immediately fit with them.

As I read this story I felt that some parts could’ve been more developed and I had some doubts, for example: was Kaci’s dad working on Remi’s case? And some small other things.

I’ve read this book in just one sit as I was entertained by it. So If you’re looking for a short and fun read this book is for you. I laugh a lot with the hashtags and I loved Kaci’s mom so I’m leaving here her advice “when it’s time to fly, Kaci, you spread those wings wide, and you soar.” Their relationship was beautiful.

Darling, Dance with Me is my first read by Aisling Magic and it was a pleasant surprise of how sweet and an easy read this book was.

Kaci is off to college and while waiting until classes start, she accidentally signs up for a dance class with her roommate Candee. The book details their time in the class as well as a few side plots.

Kaci was sweet and relatable, she comes from a family with expectations and is looking to spread her wings. Remi her dance instructor is hot and brooding but has some baggage of his own. They keep accidentally meeting up and you can feel the tension.

These two were cute together but I found the side plots were getting in the way of their story. It was a lot going on for a short book but it would have made a great full length story (I’m also just a bit greedy for more Kaci & Remi)

Anyway, Kaci and Remi had a lot of chemistry and though I would have liked to explore that more I did enjoy this book very much. The characters are funny and the storyline kept me engaged and needing to finish.

I would absolutely loveee to hear more about Candee & Nicholas so Aisling please? Haha
I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

Swoony Dance Loving Story

Kaci & Remi’s chemistry flew off the plages. Kaci is excited and in need to go off to college a little earlier than expected after her boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend. She meets her college roommate and
they instantly connect. Kaci decides to sign up for a dance class, hoping to do Zumba with Cacee her roommate only to have accidentally signed up for kizomba. Normally this would be ok, but kizomba is a much more sensual dance and Remi the instructor is a grade A jerk! Though easy on the eyes, Remi is still not someone Kaci wants to see every class.

Cacee gets the idea for Kaci to get over her ex to have a fling with Remi. And though Kaci sure isn’t looking for love, maybe she secretly wouldn’t mind having Remi as a distraction. Just when things start to heat up between Kaci and Remi, Kaci finds out Remi isn’t who he says he is and he has secrets of his own. Can these two put their secrets behind them and listen to hearts and the dance steps bringing them closer or will they deny themselves the love they both deserve?

I was provided a copy of Darling, Dance with me by the author in exchange for my honest review.

So here goes.......

Kaci moves to a town called Wishme. Lol. Love it!
For school and away from her cheating ex.
Her new roommate Candee thought it would be a great idea to sign up for Zumba classes.
But...things don't go to plan.
They are accidentally signed up for Kizomba classes with no refunds! 😂

It's where Kaci meets Remi. Breathtakingly handsome and the sexy class instructor Remi.

I found this Novella sweet and hilarious. With Candee and her constant stalker tendencies and some of the things that come out of her mouth... where can I find my own Candee? I need this in my life!

Some of the hastags seriously it just made it funnier for me.

"#InSearchofHealthyPenises
#FriendTurnedTraitor #BecauseofSexyGuys
#MrsDunlopIsBadass" Etc.

👀 see what I mean? 😂

The story as a whole was great I loved it. I could have read more. Would be happy to have more. I am very much looking forward to reading more books by Aisling Magie!

This is a quick read and would be classified as a novella but a little bit on the the longer side of that. First time reader for this author!

The characters are great, especially Remi (Nicholas too) . I loved everything about him, I mean how can you not fall in love with a young guy who takes responsibility for his younger sister?

Kaci is new to the area, a college student just getting over a bad breakup after catching her boyfriend and best friend together. Looking to start over in college. Luckily she hits if off with her new roommate ( who I absolutely loved) Candee.

The two decide to a Zumba class but are mistakenly end up in a dance class with Remi. What starts as an enemies to lovers is quickly taken over by a ton of chemistry between Remi and Kaci.

There is a lot of drama in this book.

Honestly it’s a well written novella with some good characters and lots of chemistry. Even the side characters of Candee and Nicholas are great!

This is the first book by Aisling that I have read and I loved it. Kaci is starting college and getting ready to start over. She goes to sign herself and her roommate up for some Zumba classes but accidently signs them up for kizomba classes instead. They can’t get their money back or switch classes. Plus, her traitress roommate says she is going when they see the instructor. Remi is quite the looker. This book had me laughing one minute and catching the feels the next. Remi has more going that Kaci realizes. Kaci has been burned by her last boyfriend and doesn’t want to take a chance just yet. Plus, her father has told her, her whole life that dancing is a waste of time. Her mother loves to dance though. Kaci discovers a lot about herself and what she wants in this book. This book is great short read. I would love to read more about these characters in the future. Great job Aisling.

This fun story of dance, family, and love kept me on my toes.

The story follows Kaci. She has run away from her ex and her best friend after she caught them kissing. College is starting, and Kaci is ready. She and her new roomie, Candee, have a list of items that they have to finish. On it, it says to do some exercise. That’s how they end up in Kizomba dance class. There she meets Remi. At first, she thinks he is an arrogant brat, but then she sees there is more to him than his front.

I loved the twists and turns, the suspense, and the chemistry they both have. I liked the funny hashtags that told you kind of what was going to happen but not enough. I loved Kaci’s shirts, which have witty comments on them. Candee is hilarious. She keeps going after Remi’s cousin. The problems that Remi and Kaci both have endured show strength and are very encouraging. I enjoyed this story a lot. The only thing that I didn’t like was that it ended!!

This is hands down the funniest romcom I’ve read in a while. It’s a novella, so a short fun read but I promise you will laugh from start to finish.

The storyline was good, the characters were absolutely hilarious and there was also a couple of chapters that really pulled on my heart strings.

“If my eyeballs end up sticking to his muscles, please help me unstick them.”

“Next thing I know, he’ll bring me the stranger who crashed into him when we met in the rain. “He’s the one who made our almost first kiss happen,” he’ll say.”

This is just a small snippet of some lines that had me crying with laughter.

I’m definitely reading more from Aisling after this.

If you're looking for a funny yet heartfelt novella, well look no further, because this is it. This book starts out as a laugh-out-loud rom-com (seriously - the hashtags and t-shirts alone had me chuckling), but then it had me all up in my feels. The one thing that I've learned about this author's so-called "rom-coms" is that they tend to take a dramatic turn somewhere along the way.

When Kaci and her roommate mistakenly enroll in a dance class, she has no clue what she's signed up for. It definitely wasn't the hot and slightly grumpy dance instructor, Remi. Kaci can't seem to resist his charms, but Remi has some secrets of his own, and since Kaci's recently broke up with her ex, he has no desire to be her rebound.

This story is a fun read for the most part, but it does take an emotional turn that had me tearing up and broke my heart a little. I absolutely loved all of the characters in this book, the secondary characters as much as the leads, and I only hope to someday get their story. This is the second five-star read that I've now read by this author and I think that I'm officially adding her to my list of favorites.

This novella packs a punch. It has so much emotion, but also the right amount of humor. I'm one who likes dual points of view, but in this one I didn't really notice. Trust me that's hard to do for me. Remi's story hits you in the heart, but also makes you fall in love with him. There are moments that made me laugh, cry, gasp, and happy sigh. This book left me with a smile on my face.

Super Sweet Story!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind.

Loved this novella!

This book's protagonist Kaci unwittingly signs up herself and her roommate Candee to a Kizomba class instead of Zumba, and the dance instructor Remi refuses to allow them to switch classes. But, when she starts the classes, she finds herself growing to love dance, and strikes a growing friendship with Remi.

I went into the book expecting a light romcom, but it was so wholesome and cute! And a lot of good family and friendship moments thrown in! ❤️

I loved the subplot with Wylla, and Candee is one of the best friend-of-protagonist I've read so far!
