A prequel to the series Courage Under Fire. An introduction to how it all started. This one is a cliff hanger. It is starting out to be a very intense story and a very suspenseful one as well. I already love the main characters, Piper and Reed. So on to the next installment.

The action traveled at speeds of tension. Explosive. Concern for the characters took the story to a deeper level. Morgan is charged with espionage. Serious charges. She tries to understand it. Can Reed help her? Questions come fast. Accidents happen. When you feel you're headed to an answer, something else happens.
I'm going to like this series. Looking forward to the next book.

A very short story with a great deal of suspense and courage under fire. Definitely looking forward to getting into the next one - Storm Warnings. It sure took my mind off all the things happening in the world at the moment with Covid-19.

Fast-paced suspense with so many things happening you won't see them coming. She's on the run and doesn't know who she can trust, including the man she loves.
