Urien has been defeated… but now there is a greater threat.
Ann has barely escaped the wrath of the elders with her life and magic intact. It was all worth it. She has her brother back, but now another family member needs her help.
Her grandmother, Mercury, is missing and an old enemy has taken control of her lands.
Ann refuses to believe they’re too late. When she and the other rogues go to investigate, they discover Mercury is still alive and long-dead secrets are finally coming to light. Not only can she find her grandmother, but the answers they uncover could hold the key for why the elders have hunted her for so long.
What a story. Didn’t think the book would be better than the one before. It certainly was. A missing grandmother and plenty of magic to make everyone happy. Loved it.
They are defeated and she has managed to escape with her life and magic. Now she will have to help. Her grandmother. Secrets will be revealed and it may even explain why they are hunting her. What will she find out? Can she save her grandmother? See if she will succeed

Ann is back after surviving everything that has happened in the last few books. But everything is not all roses and happily ever after. Her Grandma and her powers are missing and people and things seem to be off. I loved the twists and revelations that popped up as I read the story. I loved the surprises and kept my fingers crossed as I read hoping the good guys stay good guys this time. Just a great story that kept me glued to the end. I did want to slap a few heads this time but that was the story. Just a great fantasy series with characters that seem real.
Old Magic by Tiffany Shand is an amazing story to read. This is book number four in this amazing series that I have fallen in love with. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves readign about magic, fantasy , action, adventure and paranormal romance.

This one continues right where the last book left off, so definitely start at the beginning of the series to get the full story.
Still lots of action and adventure, and cool magical elements. Ann and company still kick butt, and have too many enemies. Danger galore going. Still love Ed too! Still really enjoying this series; such a fun series, and will still give it a 5 star rating. But...
Ugh, this one starts with Ann being an idiot and leaving Ed. Rightly so, Ed is tired of Ann pushing him away. Ann is just too dismissive of Ed’s feelings; she thinks she’s doing him a favor, but nope. She even said that she’s getting tired of him pushing her away; what?! She’s crazy, she’s the one who always pushed him away. I know she’s been through a lot and still is going through a lot, but it’s still annoying. With that stated, I still think they have a sweet connection, and I’m glad they are actually talking about the love they have for one another.
Ann and the gang are undercover to find out what happened to one of Ann’s relatives, and something is up with the people in Ann’s homeland. Tons of evil still to be rid of; Ann and her group have a lot of work cut out for them. Urien is gone and Xander is back, but there’s still evil out to take Ann out. Plus, Xander is not the same as he was before being possessed; he’s suffered a lot and isn’t handling it very well.
More story to come; 3 more books left! Entertaining and delightful!
I'd give this a 4.5 if I could do half stars but rounded up. 4 because I could tell pretty early on who the betrayer would be, but the way it came about and all the details surrounding it were a surprise.
Ann and Ed's relationship progression was done well and I'm glad to see them grow both together and separately. And poor Xander. I hope he can find his own happiness soon. He's been used by so many people at this point.

Usually when I get to book 4 in a series, I feel like it's been unnecessarily dragged out, and that the story should have ended by that point. I am very happy to say that is not the case with Tiffany's work. Although Ann has defeated her evil brother Urien and saved her other brother Xander, the Elders are still after her. Now she's found out her grandmother Mercury is missing, and an enemy has taken over Mercury's estate.
The plot itself was well paced. We continue to see the characters develop, and we see some romance unfold (which remains clean). As per the standard Tiffany set with her previous work, the plot is convoluted and entwined with betrayal. The lies start to unfold, and we begin to learn some of Ann's history.
What really intrigued me from this book was that we had the opportunity to see things from Xander's point of view. We can all agree that Xander suffered horribly when Urien possessed his body and commited countless monstrous deeds, with Xander having no control over what his body had been used for. It was interesting to see his point of view after the trauma inflicted upon him.
Would I recommend this? Yes, for sure. It's captivating, and was difficult to put down. On to book 5!!
I received a free ARC and offer a honest review in return.
This is on par if not slightly better than the first. Again I couldn't put it down. Poor Xander is all I'll say. And I'm thinking I may now be team Orla eekk. More action way more magic and I'm so in love with these 3 books.
After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story.
Urien has been defeated (hooray!), Xander is back, but things haven’t settled down for Ann, Ed, and the rest of the Rogues yet. Ann’s grandmother, Mercury, has gone missing and an old enemy has taken control over the lands. And Ann and Ed have reached a difficult point in their relationship, one which may hinder their ability to work as a team.
I have to say, I really enjoyed reading from Xander’s point of view in this book, after all the trauma he has been through, it was interesting to see how he develops and sees things after his time in captivity.
As in the previous books, there are some instances of language, sometimes strong, and more clean romance than the rest of the series to date, but not too much so that it overtakes the plot, although it is essential in this installment.
So many developments, so many twists and turns, this upper YA novel will hook you into the series and make you want to keep on reading. I have read all four books in this series so far, and I have enjoyed them all. Looking forward to what book 5 has to offer!
ONE REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE!!! Sitting on go! Tiffany delivers all the heat and magic with this mind blowing bombshell that blasts this bad boy wide open. Jumping hoops and hurdling the trials and tribulations with all the drama, secrets, intrigue, danger and suspense fuse this block buster together sleek, shiny and tight. One non-stop, action packed, hard hitting, page flipping bombshell that keeps you riveted on a razors edge. Throw in distress and turmoil and you have the recipe for one chart topping, prize winning dynamo. One thrilling storyline and gripping plot with all the twists and turns you're not sure which way to run. A barrage of vexing circumstances and a slew of surprising events propel those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. The characters and their personalities are authentic, intriguing and realistic. Solid individuals who balance out and play off one another brilliantly. The scenes are so graphically detailed to give you a full understanding and realism that flows smoothly from each scenario without a hitch. Remarkable job Tiffany, thanks for sharing this incredible jewel with us.
Ann and her friends beat Uriel but they still aren’t safe. Dark forces still want Ann dead. Ann is the archdruid, a powerful druid. But she is in hiding from the Elders who tried to kill her. She saved her brother Xander after her other brother possessed him. but since awakening he is different. Ann’s magic is gone and she doesn’t know why. Several of her friends suspect it is because she left Edward her long-time friend and love. But she was afraid that being with him put him in danger so she left. Now she is vulnerable without her magic, and something is trying to hurt her. Surprises are in store for her, and people she trusted have been devising plots to kill her. She and Edward and their friends must stop the evil. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was every time Edward and Ann were together all they could talk about was either breaking the bond, saying the other didn’t care anymore, or saying the bond couldn’t be broken. It was too much and they sounded like children squabbling. I get that they loved each other and were afraid the forced bond wasn’t real, but the author didn’t need to keep bringing it up every time they were together.
Tiffany Shand is back with a new installment of her superb Rogues of Magic Series, and that’s a very very (very) good thing indeed. The book is Old Magic (Book 4) and, just, wow. Superbly written and plotted. Urien may have been defeated but there’s sooo much more for Ann, the now seemingly magicless Archdruid to face. Long dead secrets coming back from the grave. Action, thrills and adventure that’s totally satisfying. This is just a total heck of a great book and super easy to highly recommend
I love this series!! It has it all and more. You have betrayal, love, intense moments, unpredictability. I mean at some point I was like dang it how did that happen. Tiffany Shand is a master at keeping you on your toes and guessing what will happen. I have no idea how she does it but I love it.
So Ann defeats her brother Urien and saves Xander in book 3 and now we continue on her journey. Also we find out what happens with Ann and Ed. Let's just say its not what I expected. As I was reading I just kept shaking my head and asking why and that is not a good answer. Then there was a couple of major twists that developed that had me on edge. Oh boy, was on edge with all the action going on and whether or not something would happen to them without the protection they used to have. A few things were answered and more questions arise. Overall this series will keep you wanting more. I cannot wait to read what happens next.
I have been reading this series and have completely enjoyed the complex world that the author has created. After the defeat of Urien and the rescue of Xander in the last book, this book seemed to be non-stop action with some rather shocking twists. It is the kind of book that is hard to put down, gripping because you want to find out what happens next—as it is usually not what you think it will be. That doesn't happen often enough in fiction in general and certainly in this kind of fantasy and magic story; too often they are predictable. I don't want to give away too much, as this book is one to be savored by the reader as they experience it. I'm looking forward to the next installment of the story.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Another great installment in the "Rogues of Magic" series!!!
Although she has defeated Urien, Ann's life doesn't get easier. In this new installment, she has more challenges ahead of her, starting with her relationship with Ed. The story is fast-paced, action-packed, full of more mysteries and suspense. Unexpected truths surface and Ann will have to deal with feelings of betrayal from a person close to her. Who is that? I won't make spoilers. Read on and find out! Personally, I'm impatiently waiting for the next installment!

Another exciting book by Tiffany Shand. My heart was a little broken at where Ann and Ed were in their relationship at the beginning of this book. But it resolved itself by the end ,and just like that, the slow burn romance got a little hotter. The characters are still amazing as ever and continue to steadily develop right along with the storyline. All I can say is poor Ann, how much more can she take before she looses it and kicks some major butt. As if she hasn't already!! I'll be impatiently waiting for the next book.
Another great addition to this series with plenty of action, mystery, adventure, danger and suspense. Anne has finally defeated Urien and rescued Xander, but all is not well. Xander is not the boy they once knew, and Grandma Mercury has gone missing. As the gang comes together to search for Mercury friends thought gone return bringing more mysteries, turns and twists you don’t want to miss. You should definitely get this book you won’t regret.
Rhiannon and Ed are still fighting their attraction. Everything seems a bit off. Xander is still not himself, and now there Gran is missing and Byron who killed her father is in charge of her Gran’s estates. Join the chaos as they seek answers.
Anna finally defeats Urien but know has to face more adversity. There are more shocking truths and twists revealed. This series has everything so that you hang on to every word
