In this anthology, you will find genres of Comedy, Drama, Psychological, Social, War and Thriller. Some of the intriguing plots for short stories have a non-linear structure which keeps the plot moving and simultaneously to build up for the final moment of the story.

The psychological drama where the protagonist expresses the guilt or their negative thought about society with a sudden twist of macabre feel.

The thriller genre with its initial set-up, conflict and resolution and it is a fun read.

The poems are written on the context of a youth’s point of view of the world towards society, suffering, unemployment and his frustration. He cries as he wants equality in the system, he wants to help everyone but unfortunately he is unable to do that.

This anthology is the debut work of the author and comprises 8 plays, 8 poems, and 8 short stories. In this work, the author covers diverse subjects such as unemployment, war, society, work-life, political scenario, etc. The plays are the best part of this book. I laughed my heart out while reading The Communedy - A Farcical Placement Comedy.

The poems are framing the outlook of youth towards society, unemployment, and life into prose.

Coming to the short stories, the author has attempted to create something new, but many of the stories failed to deliver the messages with the strength they deserve.

I loved the font used in the book. (*There were some typos.)

Rating I give 2.5/5

An anthology of plays, poems and short stories which directs the attention of the readers towards the burning issues like corruption, unemployment, injustice, autocratic rule and war. The office politics and layoffs of The Official Dilemma, the dependence of humans on gadgets deftly projected in Few Mornings Left and the war of succession in The Heir are something one can easily relate to. I fell in love with The Dead System and The Employment Disaster. The stories ring loud with human emotions like love, greed, deception, exploitation and loss. The central story is a beautiful piece, reminds me life is short enjoy each moment with your close ones.

The abstract style of writing made reading an exciting adventure. It was a pleasure decoding the inlaying emotions and issues in each piece. Quite a quick read, I was able to finish the book in few hours.

I will recommend the book to everyone especially to those looking for a short read.

Every Frame is a Painting is a collection of literary pieces from Abhishek Ghosh which tries to frame a painting in every page. The collection contains eight plays, poems and short stories each.

The plays work on a range of topics like job placement, office scenario, science fiction, horror, dilemma to name a few. The poems mirror the youth’s anguish towards their surroundings. The short stories, written with a dark background, explore human conditions like love, betrayal, pain etc.

The entire anthology with its varied scenarios takes the reader on a topsy-turvy ride. The book needs to be approached one step at a time, since it will take time to convalesce from every setup. Some of the pieces urge the reader to actively think by introducing non linear structures. However, the short stories and plays fail to convey a strong presence. A little more editing could have made
the product a much more sought after one.

In spite of these, The Final Wish and Every Frame Is A Painting stand apart in this literary cocktail.
Overall, the book may be flawed but has the capability to become one relished by the reader.

My rate is 3.8/5

Most books we come across either they anthology of poems or collection of tales. This is a book that has short stories, poems and plays (stage dramas).

The genres are vivid. From political issues to comedy they touch upon different issues of our lives. In one play God and Devil has a conversion about their past and later it concludes into oblivion. In another play which shows how colloquial pronunciations can add up hindrances in compression in simple communication between an interviewer and few college students. It was relatable and yes at place it is giggle-worthy.

Later the section of poems is more focused on social issues like today's real face of democracy, freedom of speech and the problems faced by the explosive population growth that is the dreadful prevailing state of unemployment and again a part of nepotism that influences it.Also,o he hastakenn up the fact that in any kind of wars common people suffer in the end.Similarly,y the short stories revolve around thrillers to more other genres. Writing has nice flow to it so are the effective word..

This book is undoubtedly a magnificent work by author Abhishek which has knotted plays, poems & short stories together. Plays and poems are impressed me more than short stories. Sensitive Social issues like unemployment , democracy are finely bloomed by the words of poems. Even most of stories and plays are so realistic . ' the final wish' is one of my favourite and felicitated . Poems are the authentic reflection of this young generation. In point of fact, short stories are not so amusing & engaging which could be better . Their Plots are basically about random love, betrayal and so on.

Writing style is unique and spontaneous. even lucid fonts attracted me for reading this book . Some unknown words are there. Author's emotion and messages are genuinely visible through the words which he wants to convey. Cover is really spanking and eye-catching. Title is allusive, meaningful & blended with entire scenarios of the book from every aspect. Narration was good and manageable. Every character is well developed & defined too.

Author's effort , knowledge and dedication is appreciating. I love how finely author described about soldiers life . It was a really wrothy reading. This book hasnt made me feel bore much. But sometimes stories are dragged which could be summarised. Otherwise everything was fine. Its a fast paced book. I will recommend it for them who want a fresh and short read.

Every Frame Is A Painting is a book written by author Abhishek Ghosh.

It is a collection of short stories, poems and plays based on topics that are not very complicated. They also included the silly stupid small negligible circumstances one goes through almost everyday.

This is the writer's first attempt at writing and it's good enough. The cover is beautiful and shiny but the font is what I like the most, it's a different one - not the usual Times New Roman.

However, unlike the curiosity-arousing title, the book disappointed me. For the fiction, mystery, thriller, suspense loving me, the book was bland. The writer focuses on topics pertaining to the real world like unemployment, suffering etc. via almost all genres but somewhere it lacked in grabbing my attention. Typos were common and avoidable, however, the writer is not to blame..The plays and the stories become too descriptive to continue to hold attention. I would have liked more excitement. But writing can be a daunting task and the writer is to be commended on completing an entire book! Hoping to like the next one.

Author : Abhishek Ghosh
Publisher : Novel Nuggets

✓ Every frame is a painting is an anthology of plays, poems and short stories. Each one is a gem and gives deep message. These priceless literary pieces are really artistic.

✓ It contains topics like employment issue, corporate culture, war, politics, and many others. I quite enjoyed the humorous parts of this anthology. It mostly focuses on the youth of current time. I really liked two poems titled "The Unemployment Disaster" and "The Heart of a Rebellion".

✓ The typeface is pretty good. It was a quick read but I took my time to finish it to understand the message the author was trying to tell and to cope with various human emotions each play and poems trying to refer. The book is fast paced and anyone can enjoy it. A very good debut by author and would love reading more of his works.

It is an anthology by Abhishek Ghosh. It is collection of poems, plays and short stories. it covers the concepts like drama, war, thriller, social and comedy. The poems portray unemployment and society from the vision of youths which I liked the most. Plays are intriguing. The short stories are done by centring the human emotions. It is dark themed like loss, pain and betrayal. The author’s writing style is pretty good. I personally like poems from the other two. It is quick read and some parts will keep you engaged. Overall, this book is a simple and light read.

The main agenda behind various dramas, skits & plays are to impart a relevant message to the society. There're usually strong causes involved as to why skits or plays are often written. They're basically to uphold the sanctity of society in such a way that it can reflect some of the notable notions pertaining to the society. Furthermore, they're done in such a way that they leave an everlasting effect upon the viewers in terms of underlying efforts, understanding literature & positive noble psychological effects. The very reason why people participate in such plays is to spread joy among the viewers.

The only thing which I liked in this entire book was the placement recruitment process which had some PJs (poor jokes) which are nothing new, all I've come across as text messages or memes in the past.

The only comfort lied in the attempt made by the author here. Even the poems lacked basic integrity or rhyming scale which is another setback. They were too shabby.
However, unfortunately this book failed to uphold none of the above aforementioned factors in the first passage. That being said it was a huge pain just to get through the content given here. The context at which it's written is also vague & unclear. That's the sole reason why I felt it was utterly inappropriate, rubbish & unfair to the readers. Additionally, it was really annoying & took me considerable notable effort just to finish it.

This book is a collection of short stories, poems & plays. I felt it will be good after going through the title which sounded catchy. However, I regret picking up this book because it's a total letdown & turned out to be a huge disappointment on my end. The main drawback being the insurmountable sheer amount & level of monotonous plot along with the lack of storyline which rendered me speechless. There's no proper storyline or logical reasoning behind the book. Nor is there any relevant adherence or information available as to whether or not the topic chosen is able to impart any knowledge to the readers.

Language is poor. Narration is poor. Storyline is poor. Writing style is poor. Poetry is shabby. Too many clichéd references. Also, ending & climax was another letdown. The very concept chosen was illogical, irrational, irrelevant & irritating. Too many clichéd irrelevant unclear references. This book got me hugely disappointed. The way everything has been presented, it was a total waste of time. Overall, not worth recommending to anyone.

Every frame is a painting is a collection of eight plays, poems and short stories each. The plays have some captivating topics like our day to day office issues, college, comedy, doing our morning chores and much more.

I had a good time reading this book, its short crisp and to the point.

I loved all the poems because they encapsulate so many topics ranging from love to patriotism. I could deeply connect with all of them. The short stories were average, some were mediocre and I couldn't really feel their dept. So the short stories required improvements. The plays were easy going and quick to be understood due to a flair in the authors writing style and a smooth narration.

The characters were well developed in most of the plays, the poems were structured well, the plot of the short stories can be improved.

Overall, this was a simple and easy going read, would recommend this if you're looking for some light breezy reads.

The coverpage and title of the book is unique and grabs instant attention. The book is a relaxing read. Every aspect of the book right from plays narration, touching poems and some great short stories makes it a beautiful read.

With mixture of mystery, happiness and adventure, this book would touch your heart.

Play about college placement, poems on soldier were my personal favourite. I thought it was nice mix of different aspects combined in a single book.

Some of my personal favourites plays are The official Dilemma - A Farcical Office Dramedy, The Usual Mornings- A short play. In short stories Death of a Blackmailer & The Insect Pendant. In poems I loved Struggles of Arms, Heart of a Rebellion & the Unemployment Disaster.

☘️The book is collection of eight plays, poems and short stories each. The plays have some interesting topics like our day to day office issues (MBA graduate have to do printing job), college placement comedy, doing our morning chores with our cell phones, the perfect heir etc.
.
☘️Best part of the book is poems. Author talks about some sensitive topics like job culture, Soldier's life, unemployment, expressing our opinions. Frankly speaking ,i didnt like short stories or i would say i find it very confusing without conveying any message. Play narration is good with easy to understand language. The cover is very impressive. I thought author had tried doing something new but somehow its not being conveyed properly.

Every Frame is a Painting is a collection of plays, poems and short stories. There are total of 8 plays, 8 poems, 8 short stories, including one short story with the title of the book — every frame is a painting. The poems are mostly themed around the society and a common man’s ramblings, what today’s youth are frustrated with and what their thoughts are centered around, how democracy is losing its meaning everywhere around the world. The plays and short stories cover a wide variety of themes like corporate jobs, political satires, love, betrayal.

There are numerous books which have a collection of poems, musings and short stories but a book including plays is a rare one, which is a major highlight here! The author has written all his works in this book with utmost honesty especially the poems, which are precise and seem right from his heart. Some stories seem complete while some of them end abruptly or without right justification leaving the reader wanting more and possibly a more logical ending. The plays read more like dialogues and conversations between the characters while they could have been given a more authentic touch of how formal play scripts read.

At less than 200 pages, the book is a quick read, with simple language and relatable issues raised by the author. However, the editing of the book leaves much room for betterment as the font keeps changing; same font should have been used for all the short stories. Also, the layout should have been better managed as new stories don’t always start on a new page, sometimes leaving the reader confused. If the editing errors can be overlooked, the book must be read for the honest attempt by the author and the message and anguish embedded in between those lines.

Every Frame has a unique painting and every dish has a multiple ingredients to make the dish more tasty. Just like that this book is also a pretty frame and a yummy dish in which multiple ingredients of plays , poems , short stories , different fonts , characters are added. Every scene containing different taste of topics . Then fragrance of poems were added . Poetries were written by the youth's point of view towards the society. That contained unemployment , sufferings , moonlight and the life of a soldier. At last there were short thriller stories which completed the frame and dish ...
.
.
This overall book was a one day read. I loved the eye catching title . Cover , language , characters and fonts were lucid and simple to understand. Interesting was the poetry in which the combination of pretty words were used to describe the life of a soldier and moonlight . In this whole concept I enjoyed the poetry part. .
.
.
Would like to recommend this book to the beginners and readers who would like short mixtures in one book.

Review
Short stories are the quick mirror to show us how we miss the moment of happiness, live in a moment don't let the time go, and don't let it ruin the moment.
The short stories, that's why I like the most.

This is a book is the collection of the anthology at one place, and author had chosen the scenario which I had never read before, the narration of comedy scenario is hilarious, I was ROFL while reading that chapter, few are really heart touching and few are just gives a message and some feel like incomplete.
When you read the book you will feel like kind of thrill going to be next, the perfect Anthology but will not feel anything is repeating or story is the same as any other author this is the most effective thing of this book.

The poems are my favorite part I like them a lot.

The cover is attractive, and the title totally suits to book.
The book narration is good.
Language is so good and little error is there but the story will not let you lose the grip because stories are a thrill and suspensive.

Recommend: I want from author to write more anthology cause your mind's creativity so different and I want that people read this book because they will find something new.

Thanks for Reading

Big congratulations to the author for hitting a boundary on the very first ball. This book is one of its kinds in that it is a collection of poems, plays and short stories. While reading the book one can feel that the author has poured out his heart on the pages. Add to that the book cover is stunning and really impressive.

There are several astounding moments throughout the book. Several day to day events are touched upon, be it the office drama in everyone’s life or the daily breakfast routine which gets more and more monotonous as the days pass through. The characters in every story are well written (though a bit confusing at times) and there is a perfect mix of happiness, dejection, mystery, and philosophy.

Personally, I feel that there was a lot left unexplored. The plots had the potential to support whole fictional books! There were a couple of grammatical errors too, but if you can let go a few of the errors, this is a must-read book. A very enjoyable and pleasant read is what I can least say. Waiting for the next book!

Every frame is a painting is an anthology written by debut author Abhishek Ghosh. It is a collection of 8 plays, 8 poems and 8 short stories. The poems are written around the society and a common man’s ramblings, on the frustration of today’s youth. It depicts about their thoughts and struggles and how democracy is slowly depleting across the globe. The short stories and plays cover a wide array of themes like corporate jobs, political satires, love and betrayal, etc.

Having read many stories and poems around these topics, the plays in the book are refreshing to read as they are rarely found. I absolutely loved the plays like 'The Communedy', 'The Point of No Return' and hoped the book had more of them. The author has penned down the poems beautifully with a sincere attempt to convey his message to the readers. The stories however were a low point for me, as few of them ended abruptly leaving the readers to yearn for a logical closure.

This book is a quick read and readers can finish it in single attempt. The writing is lucid and one can often understand the underlying message the author attempts in his book. The varying fonts used in the book are interesting, however it was not completely necessary for few chapters of the book.

Overall, the rating for this 200 page book would by 3.5/5

Every Frame Is A Painting by Abhishek Ghosh is a collection of plays, poems & short stories. There are total 8 plays, 8 poems & 8 stories.

I like the poem section more than plays & short stories . It talks about unemployment, democracy, politics, corrupted system, emotions of a soldier etc.
"Struggle of Arms" portrayed the emotions of a solider. "The Dead System" is based on a corrupted system where people are jobless inspite of education & talent. "The Unemployment Disaster" talks about people who are jobless due to an unfair authority system. All these poems are written on the context of of a youths point of view.

Short stories : 'Every Frame Is A Painting" made me so emotional. Some portrayed views of a psychologically ill people. Some explore love, betrayal, pain etc.

Plays : I like the very first play "The Official Dilemma" which is based on office drama. Others are about comedy at college placement, usual morning rituals etc. .

It's a short read. Here you find different genres like comedy, drama, psychological, social, war, thriller etc. I'm feeling heavy after reading so many different genres in one sitting. It would be better if you read one section at one time. Overall it's a good read.

Every Frame Is A Painting is the author's first anthology comprising of 8 Plays,  7 Poems and 8 Short stories  covering genres  like drama, comedy, love, psychological, social, war and thriller.

The book is short and a quick read with 175 pages.

My favorite part of this book was the poems because it talks about the social issues and problems around the world like unemployment, war,  divide and rule policy,  the corrupt system, democracy. The poems are nothing but voice of the youth!

I didn't like the short stories much but I liked a few of the plays.  My favorites were 'The Perfect Heir' and 'The Final Wish'. I would have preferred a contents section for a more organized read.
Altogether a light read and recommended for those who love reading poems and short stories.

A collective saga of poems, short-stories, plays, drama, love, thrill and comedy in one book. I've mixed feelings about this book!

So this book has 8 plays, 7 poems and 8 short-stories in total. Does it make you wonder how a book can fit it all of these together? Well, it made me wonder too but I kept reading it to actually get an understanding of the author's intent in writing this. It is a thin book with 175 pages and can be read quickly.

Starting with the cover, it a simple black cover with a good font. The cover didn't attract me enough. The language of the book is easy to understand but I kept getting lost in the poem-story-play mix. The short-stories were something I was looking forward to reading but they failed to create an impact on my mind. I found the plays to be more interesting than the short-stories and the poems. The writings could have been more elaborate and apt to the contents of the book.

Overall, this was an okayish-quick read for me. And I'd rate this one a 3/5*

If you’re looking for a fresh & light book (a way to step out of the comfort zone) to read on this weekend, this book is a good one to squeeze in. I won't lie that this book has the content that readers would be after. But this does have some serious twists and negative thoughts that wrapped up the best in a good way (in light of uniqueness).

This book is a solid collection of plays, poems and Short stories. And they are framed so briefly. I’d describe this as whimsical, memoir and stream of sentience. The Writing style is definitely the author brand kind as he raised the status of standard types in here uncompromisingly and in breaking the premises to pen down, a reader can hope for.

I found myself looking forward to how the author captured the inspirations from his experiences as the list did play out. And some of the works here deserves a spotlight where the poems part about society, democracy and unemployment, tucks in. And as for the title is totally classy considering the contexts that did go very well with.

Every Frame Is A Painting is a collection of short stories, poems and plays. There is 8 of everything 8 poems, 8 short stories and 8 plays. I was not into plays so much but I enjoyed reading the poems a lot.
The writing is simple to understand. The one thing that I didn't like was in the short stories section. The author could have started each story on a fresh page instead of starting it randomly. There is a story or 2 where the name of the story is at the end of one page and the story starts on the next page. The font also kept on changing here and there. These two were disappointment for me.
I liked the poems more like I said. 'Struggles of Arms' and 'The Heart of a Rebellion' were the best.  I liked the short story, 'Every Frame Is A Painting'. It is the story of Nandini and Shekhar. It is an emotional love story where there is just memories of one person and the saying proved right "Till Death Do Us Apart".

This book is about plays, poems and short stories.
The book takes a good pace after the first few chapters.
The poems are all very strong and indicate a true message which we should all look upon.
However, there are some plays and short stories which I felt could have given no morale after being read.
The language of the book is good however there are few mistakes and grammatical error which is okay.
The best play which I found was the Monkey's Paw and I have loved all the poems.
The starting plays about the employees and about hiring people did not throw much light on what they wanted to depict.
However the ones, which the droids and the monkey paw did a good job.
Short stories were good depicting alot of reality.
The cover of the book is beautiful and the book can be read in a short span of time.
People who would love to do some light reading in a short span of time can totally look out for this book.

The plays are amusing and engaging while the poems connect deeply with the younger generation & depict various social issues like unemployment, society, work life balance, expression, etc. The short stories revolve around love and betrayal.

Overall a very light and spontaneous piece of work!

I loved the cover and title of the book. Also the language is easy, so it's a good pick for Beginners too!
