Rate this book
Two countries are caught up in the flames of conspiracy, desperate to restore order. Rebellions in Virma and Wellster are at its peak. In these dark days, when no one is safe, in order to survive, Lilian has to remember who her friends are. Separated from Lilian in the very heart of a cruel scheme, Jess will have to face reality: his wife is one of a kind.

The journey from Ativerna to Wellster continues, and the ambassador party led by Jerrison Earton arrives to retrieve the bride of their prince—only to find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy led by the former queen and her allies. With the capital swept up in chaos and lives on the line, it’s up to the resourceful countess and her companions to solve the conflict and save the country—and themselves.

Meanwhile, in the distant Virma after the murder of her lady-in-waiting that threatens to ruin the alliance between Virma and Ativerna, Princess Angelina winds up leading the investigation and trying to find the murderer, whose motives remain unclear.

Yet even with danger lurking behind every corner, a heart cannot be denied what it wants. Two couples get caught up in illicit affairs, ill-advised, yet oh so alluring. The obstacles in their paths are seemingly insurmountable…

The Right of Vengeance is the 7th book in a bestselling Amazon historical romance and time travel A Medieval Tale series by Lina J. Potter. The author took a pause after book 5 to come back with new adventures of Lilian Earton; with higher stakes, more danger, and more romance. Medieval times are not the calmest era, so Lilian has to use all her knowledge, charm, and wit to prove that a woman has her voice, her rights, and her opinion that need to be listened to, that love truly exists, and that everyone deserves their chance at happiness.

I gave this book a three-star because after reading the series from the start; I think the author could have done better. The editing still needs a lot of work. It confused me on who said what and where what stood a lot of times. Truth be told, I wasn't interested in a lot of the people in the book. The author switches views so much it gets confusing. The only stable thing I stuck with was Lilly and Jes. They so far are the only reason I keep reading.

Ohhh WOW !

This series is so vibrant , so fraught with twists and turns . You know that the heroine will survive but you don't see how she will do it . The writing is extremely vibrant in it descriptive format . I have been hooked from the very first book . Luna J. Potter has a true gift for being not only a past world together and making it seem like it is real , but also giving characters life and making you feel strong emotions about them . I can't believe there is only one more book in this series , I will be sad to see all the characters go . A must read for all believers in other worlds , and strong characters !

Another Great Book

The book deals with two adventures. The Count and Countess Earton on one path and Crown Prince Richard with his sister Princess Angelina on the other. Love is hard but sweet. Duty and happiness clash. Countess Lillian uses all her charm, wits and wiles to protect friends and loved ones. I like the action, humor, and romance. The plot builds in a gripping crescendo of action, intrigue, and romance. I have preordered the next book.

You will enjoy this series!

I had to wait a while for this book in the series to come out and I had to go back to the previous one to figure out what was happening and therefore I was playing catch up and had problems getting into this one. Now there is another one coming out that I will have to wait on..so here we go again. I would recommend getting the whole series before you begin reading them..they are very interesting and will have you hooked for the next one.

!loved it!

I love Lily's courage and wit. Merrie is turning into a little mini Lily which is not a bad thing. Jerrison is finding out what a jewel he has in a wife. Overall, an action packed, filled with intrigue, fun read.

Another great read

I have read all the books in this series and enjoyed each one for different reasons. The strong female lead character initially drew me to them but the tales have moved on and they are an enjoyable read. I pre order so I don’t forget or miss out. Lillian is an excellent character and her inventions are simple and believable.

The whole package

Luna Potter is an extraordinary story teller! She created characters in this series who are so different but so familiar. Medieval times are endlessly fascinating, now we have a heroine who is a modern person and we get to see what we would really think of the times!

Reference to Holmes ..Great twist

Lina Potter has not disappointed with this book. The twist of using Holmes and his adventures in this book with the change of names and times. The undercurrent of romance is wonderful too. I look forward to the next book.

Does not disappoint!

The Countess Earton is still as feisty and magnificent as ever in the 7th book in this series. Each sequel has been as exciting to me as the first and I'm looking forward to seeing how her story and the lives of the Earton family ends in book 8!

Lily and Jess get caught up in the machinations between Virma and Wellster as rebellion brews. It was cool getting a different kind of plot than we’ve had so far but the different POVs got confusing.

It took at least 50% into the book before I got into it. The writing was disjointed and it was hard to remember all the characters.
