A fragile flower is defenseless After someone gets through the suit of armor The only thing standing Between the fragile flower and destruction Is the other person's intentions And they might not appreciate The smell of flowers... Carson Reynolds doesn't believe in love. Carson Reynolds doesn't believe in happy moments or memories or endings. Carson Reynolds doesn't believe in boys with real hearts or days that don't end in bad nights. Carson Reynolds doesn't believe in the poems she scribbles on napkins to get her feelings out. Carson Reynolds doesn't believe in herself... Kellen Jordan believes in all of that, and he might help change her mind... With poetry intertwined in the chapters of her debut novel, Jessyca Thibault takes a step into the contemporary fiction world. The author of the "dollhouse poems" series tackles issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, and finding love in the most unexpected place: yourself.

Forever Mark by Jessyca Thibault has touched my heart. It is heart wrenching, it is full of love and pain. The love between Carson and Kellan will melt your heart. You can feel every single emotion that Carson feels. I have not experienced a journey like this one in a long time. I cannot remember the last time that I cried while reading a book. Every character was created to be so real from mother's to little Browns mean girls. The words were popping out of the pages and wrapping themselves around my heart. The words in the story are so powerful that you want to store them in your mind and never let them go. The story is a roller coaster of laughs and emotions. It is worth every minute that you spend reading it. I am so proud of this author and what she has accomplished. She is fearless and brave. I have not seen such an authentic writer and human being in such a long time. Please go out and get Forever Mark on Amazon. Take your time with the book, savor every word and keep them in your heart forever. Thank you for reading my reviews.
This is the last of Jessycas books that I had to read, I thought her poetry was amazing, but this? *chefs kiss*
I saw pieces of myself in Carson. I smiled like an idiot during the happy parts and I cried in a way that no book has made me cry in quite some time at the sad parts.
I didnt expect to feel as deeply as I felt reading this, but I became invested in Carson very quickly.
This was the perfect way to complete my 2020 reading goal, with just an hour to spare might I add, and I hope that more people give this book a chance. Because it really is amazing.
