This is the last of Jessycas books that I had to read, I thought her poetry was amazing, but this? *chefs kiss*
I saw pieces of myself in Carson. I smiled like an idiot during the happy parts and I cried in a way that no book has made me cry in quite some time at the sad parts.
I didnt expect to feel as deeply as I felt reading this, but I became invested in Carson very quickly.
This was the perfect way to complete my 2020 reading goal, with just an hour to spare might I add, and I hope that more people give this book a chance. Because it really is amazing.
