Tiana moved to Mainland to study and have peaceful life. Unfortunately Tyler, her schoolmate won't let this happen, as it turned he's a vampire and bites her. Soon the strange things start to happen. Tiana tries to push him away afraid he will abuse her. However affection towards him seem to be stronger. Will addiction turn into something more? Or after discovering the truth she will turn her back to him?

Never have I read a story where the author got into a "scandal" while the story was happening... Guess there is a first time for everything. Besides that occurrence, this comic was a bumpy journey of a read. The story is a bit all over the place and rushed at times but I still liked it. Found out the reason for these issues was because the author decided to end the comic for personal reasons and wanted to finish the story ASAP. While I wish it would have been more flushed out, I can appreciate it for what it was.
The art style is majority black and white with some red showing up but the last episode is in color. Personally I prefer the black, white, and red style than the colored version. It just fit the tone of the series better. It was pretty neat seeing what everyone looked like in color at the end as it was a nice surprise.
If you like vampire stories with fighting scenes then I would give it a shot, but be aware that there are showings of mental abuse, incest, and rape. If you don't take this story too seriously and can handle a few plot holes this can be a good reading experience.

I wanted to like this one SO bad, but I just find this series super uncomfortable to read. Maybe I will be able to read it one day, but that is not today.

Bite Me cuenta la historia de Tiana, quien se ha mudado a Mainland y donde se asienta para estudiar en la universidad. Pero desde el comienzo conocemos a Tyler, un compañero que comienza a frecuentarla y que termina demostrando ser un vampiro.
Tyler no pierde el tiempo antes de morderla, y Tiana siente temor al descubrir que, aunque siente cierto recelo, también le atrae fuertemente.
También conocemos a Ethan, quien es le protege desde la lejanía y del que poco a poco vamos vislumbrando su pasado junto al de Tiana hasta comprender cuál ha sido el punto de inflexión y cuál ha sido su relación realmente.
Sin embargo, esta no es la única problemática: una vampira sedienta de sangre ha reaparecido y causa más estragos de los que se pueden resolver y que resulta ser alguien más importante de lo que se cree; y también tenemos el pasado de la misma Tiana.
El webtoon en sí es entretenido, pero no sé discernir si es que al princio cuesta agarrarle la mano para engancharse o simplemente no fue mi tipo.
Lamentablemente los personajes no se me hicieron destacables tampoco y a veces se me hacía denso el leerlo aún cuando la historia en sí no es pesada.
Probablemente lo que más me motivaba a leerlo era el descubrir más sobre la relación de Ethan y Tiana y sobre la familia de ésta.
Los vampiros me gustan mucho, por lo que creí que la historia me iba a gustar más, pero solo se me volvió aburrida en algunas ocasiones. Desgraciadamente me ha enganchado apenas en los últimos capítulos porque claramente llega al climax de la temporada y salen a la luz secretos o identidades junto a sus lazos.
Creo que está bueno para pasar el tiempo, pero, al menos personalmente, no esperaría una gran historia. Aún así, planeo leer su segunda temporada en el tiempo cercano.
