I was born in Kuwait, in the spring of 1986. I lived there till I was 15 and then moved to Pakistan with my family where I lived in Karachi for just under a decade. After a lengthy time reflecting on many aspects I decided to leave Islam, the religion of my family. Shortly after that, I moved to England, where I still reside, with my wife who is from Poland.
A nomad all my life, not by design but by circumstances, I made my choice by where I could discover a sense of belonging above all else. Over the years, my fondness for these British Isles and her people have only grown stronger.

Everything in this collection, from the language to the content to the form to the structure, is a great adventure in beauty, poetry, and unspoken truths. You don't have to love poetry to enjoy Mumblings of a Fool; you just need an appreciation for honesty and wisdom. I absolutely would recommend.
I sat down for a bit of reading and soon myself on the other end of this collection. I thought the poetry here had a nice prosody to it, and I found there was a deep meaning to much of it that resonated.
