A ninth Lady Margaret book, Going Out in Style, is scheduled for summer 1998. Her second series stars retired office manager, Betty Trenka, a senior sleuth who's facing the problems of aging, and finding a new life for herself. The most recent, Downsized to Death, was published in November, 1997, for a total of three in the series so far.

OK, by no means great. A Caribbean island locale, but not a particularly attractive one. Murders aplenty but not much interest in them by the locals, so Lady Margaret appoints herself Chief Investigative Officer and does figure all out by book’s end, but we find it hard to still be very interested by then.

I like to read books like this while vacationing in the Caribbean.

This was a late part of the series. I need to start at the begining.....but I love Margaret and Paul.
