A dragon shifter series set in the same world as the Bride Hunt books
More inter-species shenanigans!!
Stone is shocked to find that he is the only male in attendance at a fertility conference. This, when the brief clearly stated that a male and a female from each of the species is recommended to be there. Things go downhill fast when he is paired with a Feral female who hates his guts on sight. Why? For no other reason than that he is a non-human male. They need to work together as a team for the next few days. It’s going to be tough since the female doesn’t seem to want anything to do with him. The animosity is palpable. Tempers flare ‒ but so does a raging attraction between them. One that will get them exactly nowhere.
Who does this dragon male think he is? What is he doing here? This male knows nothing about the heartbreak surrounding infertility. Cordia might have been paired with him, but she doesn’t have to like it. She might be attracted to him, but she doesn’t have to act on it. This male can go to hell!
An enemies to lovers romance. No cheating! Contains hot alpha males and therefore strong sexual themes/language.
Charlene lives on an acre in the country with her husband, three children and an array of pets including a snake. In her spare time you can usually find her typing away franticly on the computer completely lost in worlds of her making. She is an avid believer that it is the small things that truly matter like the feeling you get when you start reading a new book or a particularly beautiful sunset. Charlene likes to write bite stories her readers can sink their teeth into. Sign up for her latest release newsletter for more information http://mad.ly/signups/96708/join
This series has been on a slow decline for me. I even let a good bit of time pass before I picked it back up. Alas, it’s missing some pizzazz.
Couldn’t buy into the Cordia and Stones mate ship. She is such a dry hard character I just couldn’t get attached to her. Surprisingly Stone was a weak MC which completely shocked me.
Felt way too rushed. Felt no connection to secondary characters. Lacked action and the all important sarcasm I love. Just bland for me.
3 1/2 ⭐️'s I am a huge fan of Charlene's and all of these books, but for some reason, this one feels a little off. I didn't feel the romantic chemistry between Stone and Cordia however the back and forth between them kept me reading. I was surprised this one ended in a cliffhanger tbh, but I will be reading the next one. Let us see where Charlene goes with it.
Feral Dragon is the fifth book in the Earth Dragons series, which follows The Bride Hunt series. The story revolves around dragons who meet the one and their lives are changed forever. But there are dramas along the way. That's when the fun begins.
While each book can be enjoyed as a standalone, it's best to read them in order to fully appreciate the rich paranormal elements and exciting themes they offer. The characters must fight to stay alive, but what they discover is even more significant than they ever imagined.
I love the strong, sexy alpha males in protective roles!
This series grows on you and changes keep you interested. Stone is a dragon who is not interested in the Bride Hunt, possibly because he lost his twin sister because of it. She, like many dragon females, is infertile and commits suicide when her husband decides to join the hunt for a human female because he wants children so much. This devastated Stone who now finds himself at an interspecies conference on infertility and how to overcome the various problems associated with that. On the first day he discovers that he is the only male attendant and that the representative of the Feral is the most attractive female that he has ever met. She is Gordia, a Feral who snipes at him every chance she gets. So why is he so drawn to her? Once again CH confronts the problem of infertility and related problems that cause heartache to those afflicted directly and those affected by it indirectly. There’s both drama and humour in this story which is a trademark for this author.
Warning: mature sexual content, mature themes, and language.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This is book five of six in The Earth Dragons series. (Set in the same world The Chosen Series)
Time for some more inter-species shenanigans. Stone is shocked to find that he is the only male in attendance at a fertility conference. This, when the brief clearly stated that a male and a female from each of the species is recommended to be there. Things go downhill fast when he is paired with a Feral female who hates his guts on sight, for no other reason than that he is a non-human male. They need to work together as a team for the next few days, and it’s going to be tough since the female doesn’t seem to want anything to do with him. The animosity is palpable, and tempers flare, but so does a raging attraction between them, one that will get them exactly nowhere.
Who does this dragon male think he is? What is he doing here? This male knows nothing about the heartbreak surrounding infertility. Cordia might have been paired with him, but she doesn’t have to like it, and she might be attracted to him, but she doesn’t have to act on it, for in her opinion this male can go to hell. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. It’s a must read. I highly recommend to everyone.
Another great book in this series Stone one of the top warriors is sent to a conference to discuss the infertility issues of all the shifter females he is the only male in attendance. There he meets Cordia a feral female and there is instant chemistry so hot they break a table during hot steamy sex, she tries to resist him they just can't stay away from each other. The big problem is when feral females get pregnant they suffer from a fatal disease unfortunately she becomes pregnant now they are desperately looking for a cure. A good solid story filled with hot love but also with serious issues can't wait to read the next book can they find a cure and save her and the babies?
I’m a utter clown for enemies to lovers, so seeing Cordia and Stone (especially Cordia) pushing Stone away and fighting their attraction towards each other was A+. I rarely stumble across books where the heroine is the one avoiding the chemistry, so I ate it up with ease. I did hate the sexual assault that almost/did occur on Stone + how it was pushed aside, and Cordia instead of just asking for a new partner just blatantly lied and said Stone stalks her. Only for it not even be mentioned afterwards, highkey wanted Stone to then separate himself from her to make her realize the feelings between them & how wrong she was. But instead we got him still kissing her ass lol. However, the ending does feel unfinished but I guess it’s due to the next book.
I didn't like the Feral species because of the last book. I could not fathom how This character could possibly work. Well, I have to tell you, it works extremely well. The characters are superb. The banter & bickering keeps you enthralled. I am excited for the next book just so I can see what's next for these two characters. Bravo, MS Hartnady. BRAVO. ❤
I really like this book! I like the way these characters develop and how the Love Hate Thing played out in such a sweet and crazy way! There's no better way to make a story more enticing than tp put the love-hate relationship to the test and to watch it grow like a budding flower.
The Earth Dragon series has lots of twists and turns.... I really like how several previous couples have parts in the next book or so... It helps make it exciting to keep reading. Stone and his Feral are very unique as a couple... I am soo hoping the Doctor's story gives both Sand, Stone, and Druze a happy future. I liked this story
What an incredibly amazing story coming up on the finale
Stone and Cordia, a Dragon and a Feral, what a great story! This story was a little slower than normal to get going but when it did it was awesome. I understand why that happened. Also we were left with an unfinished tale but also a sneak peak into the last book. Druze will also be in the next story.
I loved the story line. It’s time for them to look into helping the women.
I think this one has a problem though. The human healer for the earth dragons would be Granite’s mate, Louise. Meghan is Tide’s mate and lives with the water dragons. I was waiting for the introduction to the healer, but that wasn’t included.
I'm still on a roll reading these books that's how good it is and even thou the next book is the last for these dragon there are still more series with the other dragons can't wait got them all lined up w u sh coffee worked for me but it doesn't 😂
Lovely read and also emotional was nice to here a bit more about the feral and there healing ability and how the different species maybe able to work together to help each with there own species fertility problems
Feral Dragon, book 5 of Charlene Hartnady's Earth Dragons series introduces a lot of new characters. We meet women from all the nonhuman clans. There's a wonderful insight into the Feral.
Good story but it leaves you hanging too much. Also some facts were wrong. Louise is Sand’s sister in law not Meghan. They are both doctors though. I am not sure how this is going to tie into the next book.
Charlene Hartnady know how to connect her stories.
Wow, these non-human s really have issues with having babies. I can't wait to see how Sand and his mate do, but really looking forward to seeing how this dragon shifter and feral works out. Such issues facing them.
Cordia and Stone were at a conference about infertility. Cordia ended up with Stone this story has its ups and downs but is an enjoyable read. Im enjoying these stories
Interesting installment of the series, really enjoyed it. I don't like cliffhangers, but this one wasn't to bad, a since I can move to next one..it's okay
Charlene Hartnady never fails to please, and this one is no exception. It was so nice to finally have a species that is tougher than the dragons and can give them a run for their money.
Im so glad they were able to get over their crazy anger with each other and that they got a great happily ever after, I'm heading to grab the next one!
