This was the first chapter book my six-year-old Calvin has read to me. This book came out around when the newest Dog Man book came out, so Calvin got this one, and his older brother got the Dog Man book. I've read most if not all of the super Rabbit Boy books, and this one had some neat elements that I enjoyed. So thankful for this series for my video-game-loving boys!
This is the first one in the serious that I just think wasn't great. A little confusing for my kids as well as over the top, without flowing well together.
I can see why reluctant readers get hooked on this video game format. The stories are simple but fast paced with vivid characters and a heartwarming story.
So - I'm not sure why, but my 5 year old was convince this was going to be the least favorite of the three books we got from the Easter Bunny - but it was not. It's probably the favorite.
Super Rabbit boy is going back in time to save himself when he was a baby and preserve his super powers. The various King Vikings and Super Rabbit Boys are amazing. The illustrations are fabulous. We all LOVED this book. Thanks Easter Bunny!
