Fools Rush In is the third installment in Donna Frelick’s Interstellar Rescue series (after Unchained Memory and Trouble in Mind), but it is easily read as a stand-alone novel. In fact it is really a prequel to the other books, introducing Rayna Carver, agent of the Interstellar Rescue Service and Sam Murphy, a space pirate with a passion for liberating slaver ships (supporting characters in the earlier books). Gabriel Cruz, Sam’s friend and the hero of Trouble In Mind also appears in Fools Rush In.

Frelick’s universe is based on the presumption that the Gray aliens (Minertsans) are indeed abducting humans (as well as members of many other species) to work as slaves in their mines and factories. Fools Rush In opens as Murphy’s pirate vessel, the ShadowHawk, captures a Minertsan slave ship, the Fleeflek, on which Rayna is undercover, hoping to make her way into the munitions factory on the planet LinHo, one of the acknowledged pest holes of the galaxy. Her plans disrupted but not put aside, Rayna sets out to convince this inconvenient pirate to help her continue her mission. Sparks fly, both professional and personal.

Unlike Trouble In Mind, which is set largely on Earth, Fools Rush In takes place on starships and occasional dingy and dangerous ports. Frelick’s books are science fiction romance for the science fiction lover. The romance, while satisfying, never overshadows the action plot, which involves sabotage, space battles, and general skulduggery. Frelick does not go out of her way to over explain her universe, either. We meet Thranes, Patarons, Minertsans, and other aliens, with just enough description to make them interesting, but never bogging down in back story. We learn just enough about Rayna and Sam’s earlier live to understand their reasons for fighting the slavers.

Frelick’s Interstellar Rescue series is set in a grim reality, and there is considerable graphic violence (and some graphic sex), suitable for the tone of the novel. If you enjoy science fiction with a layer of space opera and a believable love story, start the series with Fools Rush In.

Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3 by Donna S. Frelick is the third book in this Sci Fi romance series and is really a prequel to the other two books. It takes us to the beginning of Agent Rayna Carver and Captain Sam Murphy, who you would know from books one and two. It is a quick and easy read and this book mainly centres around being on spaceships and the dangers of other beings trying to take over. takes place on starships and occasional dingy and dangerous ports. As battles ensue and fights for lives romance blossoms in the toughest of them all. There is plenty of action and battles, plots and murder and much more that will keep you turning the pages. The characters are endearing and are easy to like. This is actually my favourite book in the series.

Rayna is an agent sent on missions to help bring prisoners home after being abducted from all over the universe. She is one sassy, strong and take no prisoners type of gal and she has just met her match. Will she be able to survive the ordeal or will she fail in her mission?

Sam is a space pirate and he hates the creatures who abduct beings. He is also wanted by the same agency that employs the woman who won’t leave his mind. With a fight against time will he survive and be able to help the woman he loves?

I am not a sci fi lover but I did enjoy this series. If you enjoy science fiction then this series is for you.

I do enjoy a good SFR (Sci-fi Fiction Romance) and Fools Rush In was good indeed.

Fools Rush In has Pirates, Aliens, an Undercover Agent and takes place in outer-space.

Donna S. Frelick helps you vision the scenery and the characters with her words.

I’m not a huge fan of science fiction, however, the book description grabbed my attention, and the action-packed plot kept me rapt and reading.

Fools Rush In is the third book in Ms. Frelick’s Interstellar Rescue Series, however, it can be read as a stand-alone novel. I’m not familiar with the series, but I understand that this is something of a prequel for the series.

Fools Rush In takes place in outer space on starships and at their questionable ports of call. From the first page to the last, this book is all action. There is a romance, but it is secondary to the action adventure story. There are few instances where characters magically heal fast enough to engage in another battle or romp in the starship bunks.

Both main characters, Agent Rayna Carver and Pirate Sam Murphy are wonderfully developed. They’re both strong, and instead of being the stereotypical macho male hero, Sam treats Rayna as his equal. I enjoyed their banter and chemistry. The secondary characters are interesting, but I’ have to admit my eyes glazed over at all the tertiary characters. I was delighted that Ms. Frelick didn’t bog down her story with too many details of her science fiction world or tertiary characters’ backstories.

Overall, Fools Rush In is an entertaining, well-written book that will delight science fiction fans.

The meek shall inherit the earth: the rest of us are going to the stars. – Old Earth Proverb

To kick some alien butt! – Rayna Carver, Field Agent, Interstellar Council for Abolition and Rescue

I like Rayna Carver. She has all those traits I would want if I was some kind of action heroine. Smart, cool, independent, tough and she can kick butt. Plus, she is petite – like me. Her size allows her to surprise her foes.

Sam Murphy is a good guy. His crew knows it. Though Sam likes to pretend like he is in it for the profit. He reminds me of a certain scruffy-looking reluctant movie hero. And given that the Interstellar Rescue Series takes place in a near current day setting, maybe Sam is a fan of Han Solo and Star Wars.

When Sam and Rayna meet, the sizzle begins, even though they are constantly at odds. The chemistry made them feel like a couple almost immediately, in fact the constant friction/attraction made it feel like Rayna’s time on Sam’s ship felt like one long date. A date that was constantly interrupted by spies, intrigue and danger.

Rayna has a mission to accomplish. And Sam has enemies to deal with. There will be a time when they will part ways to deal with their own objectives. At this point, more characters become key, including a familiar one. Half -Thrane Gabriel Cruz (from Trouble in Mind) makes a timely appearance, to work with Sam. Other less congenial Thranes make life difficult for Rayna, but in a way that allows Rayna to call on her strengths to combat them. I enjoyed the various action/danger scenarios in the story that showed Rayna and Sam work well together and do pretty good on their own too. But better together.

Unlike the first two books in the Interstellar Rescue Series, Fools Rush In does not take place on Earth. It is out there. In space. Where there are other humans. We learn a little more about non-Earth humans and this is a part of the story I would like to learn even more. We also see a bit more of the internal conflicts that plague the Minertsans, as first disclosed in Trouble in Mind, though I think there is quite a bit more to that story.

Fools Rush In is actually kind of a prequel to the series that tells the Rayna and Sam story. As favorite characters in the first two books, I enjoyed reading their story. It has lots of action and I enjoyed every minute of this edge-of-your-seat adventure. And the romance and is sizzling. Oh yes, Leia and Han – I mean Rayna and Sam – are a couple destined to be together, if they survive the courtship.

Each book in the Interstellar Rescue Series can be enjoyed as standalone, but the story is even more satisfying if you read the series. The overall arc of the Interstellar Rescue Series is complex and rich with future plot possibilities. I am really enjoying this series and I think each book just gets better.

The author provided a copy of Fools Rush In so that I could bring you this honest review.

SF action 3.5 Goodreads; 4 Amazon. Romance 3 Goodreads; 3.5 Amazon. I liked but not loved it.

This is my first book by Donna Frelick (as far as I recall), and I liked it well enough to give her another try sometime, but not so much that I can't wait. Reading the description and reviews let me know that this book 3 was actually a prequel, and indeed, I had no problem reading it first. There are several likable and/or interesting secondary characters, at least one of whom (Gabriel) was probably the lead in either book 1 or 2, though I'll have to check. Now, as for this book in specific...

Both leads get beat up more than once, and the first sexy scene comes too soon after Rayna's leaving the med bay to be at all plausible (she goes to sleep exhausted and in pain after her first post-fight exertion, then when she wakes up, those injuries are hardly mentioned again), but the action plot was generally entertaining and exciting. There were spaceship battles (which probably violated some laws of physics, but I don't usually worry about that), and mano-a-mano confrontations.

Although I liked both leads, Rayna was a bit too prone to *excessive* "I can do it myself" attitude, and I felt the romance/sex elements moved a bit too quickly from reluctant attraction (plausible) to more-reluctant deeper emotions (not-so-plausible, especiallky at first).

The world-building is a bit grim (the whole-premise revolves around mind-wiped slaves who can rarely get their lives back even if they survive and get rescued) but fairly light on other levels. There are a number of other groups mentioned, but not fully described, with just some racial traits (all large and dark, or telepathically gifted, etc.) but since there are several half-breeds, and this kidnapping-slaves-from-earth trade has apparently been going on for an unspecified but long time, I'm not even sure whether (other than the Grays) they're alien species' or human offshoots. Maybe the earlier-written books get into this issue in more depth.

As for the writing it was smooth and natural, told in third-person limited PoV, with scenes from each of the leads' perspectives, without awkward retreadiing when they're together. I only caught a couple minor typos, such as can be found in any published book. She did keep writing "the 'hawk" when calling Sam's ship by its nickname, instead of "the 'Hawk", but the others were one-offs, a mis-spaced quotation mark here , a missing "a" there.

If you like SFR, you could do a lot worse. It may be somewhat predictable, but that's not such a grievous fault. This is one of those books where if I weren't doing a combined review via the Kindle app, I'd round down to three stars on Goodreads, and up to four stars on Amazon; i.e., I liked it, but I didn't really "really like it".

I received an eARC of this book from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.

Fools Rush In
by Donna Frelick is the third book in Interstellar Rescue but it is also a prequel of sorts. In this installment we get Rayna and Sam’s story, how they met and events that are alluded to in previous books are played out in full. Captain Murphy is an easy going man who loves women, his ship and crew, and profit (he is a pirate after all), but there is one thing he hates…slavers. When he takes down a slaver ship with an undercover Rayna on board, he gets more than he bargained for.

I’ve always liked Rayna. She’s the epitome of bada**! She takes no crap from anybody, isn’t afraid to put the captain in his place and she’s fearless. Did I mention she kicks butt? Because the woman can fight!

Like Rayna, I’ve always liked Sam, but I think I’m in love now! He’s like a cross between Capt. Kirk in the new Star Trek movies and my favorite space cowboy Capt. Reynolds from Firefly. In fact I so pictured Nathan Fillion the entire time I was reading. I couldn’t help it. (On that same note Rayna was Zoe in my mind!) Okay back to why I like Sam. I loved that we finally get his backstory in this book. I always liked him, but knowing now what he came from helps to understand his previous actions, his weaknesses and his strengths. But what I truly loved was how he treated Rayna. I was full on expecting an alpha relationship, but instead he treats her as his equal. He doesn’t look down on her or believe that she shouldn’t do something. Instead he supports her and yes is a little protective.

I love the world-building in this series and this book in particular. It’s the first that is set entirely off Earth and in space. It’s a space opera so if that’s not your thing, consider yourself warned. The cast of characters are believable and a diverse bunch of aliens. I love how the author explains the differences by not pointing them out but allowing them to naturally come up (like with their size, skin color, even their language). I was fully immersed! AND I loved the plot! The plot centers around Sam’s ship rescuing a large group from slavers. Unfortunately for Sam there are spies on that ship hellbent on getting to the location they were being sent and basically starting a war. Intense and highly suspenseful!

Overall I really enjoyed this book! I love a good sci fi and this one with it’s dry humor, dash of romance and adventure, I couldn’t resist it. If you’ve enjoyed the series or you’re looking for a good sci fi read, I highly recommend you start this one ASAP!

4 stars!

I can’t remember the last time I read a space opera, and it’s never really been my preferred genre, but I really enjoyed Fools Rush In. Though I had some issues with it, it was a thoroughly fun read full of well-written characters and an engaging world.

Our protagonist, Reyna Carver, is the very definition of a well-written strong female lead. Despite her badassery, she’s also flawed, with insecurities and issues that haunt her throughout the story. Balancing those characteristics well is difficult, and usually result in a Mary Sue type of character, but that’s not the case with Agent Carver. She feels like a very real person, someone I could sit down and share a drink with. The same can be said for her leading man, Sam Murphy. It’s so common in the romance genre to have men that are overbearing and don’t actually treat their female counterparts as equals – it was refreshing to see that Sam is not that kind of love interest. He’s protective, sure, but he knows when to let Reyna take the lead. They’re not the only great characters in the book – I would say the book’s biggest strength lies in the author’s ability to make the entire cast of characters a believable and diverse bunch. Science fiction as a genre is in a position to use diversity in a way that enhances the stories past the usual tropes and stereotypes – it’s clear that this writer is aware and makes full use of this advantage. Other sci-fi writers take note – this is how you do it! (I’m looking at you, Star Wars prequels…)

The world itself is as engaging as the cast that fills it. All the descriptions are vivid and in-depth, creating a clear picture of the world the characters inhabit. Personally, sometimes there was too much description for my taste, but that’s a matter of preference and part of the reason I don’t usually read space operas and high fantasy. At times the story seemed to go by slower than I would have liked, too. That’s why Fools Rush In gets four stars instead of five. Though the story overall was engaging, it took me a while to really get sucked into it, and then it was still easy to put the book down and get distracted. A couple of inconsistencies also made it hard to stay focused, but not enough that I couldn’t get back into the story. No matter what, it continued to call me back, so it gets four stars!

Fools Rush In is the third book in Donna S. Felick’s Interstellar Rescue Series. You do not need to read the other books to understand this one. I read the book, Trouble In Mind, but it didn’t really prepare me for this one as much as I thought it would. That’s likely because there are so many moving parts to this sci-fi love story that it’s hard to keep up at first.

Fools Rush In is about Rayna Carver who is a Field Agent for the Interstellar Council for Abolition and Rescue and Sam Murphy who is the Captain of the Shadowhawk which is a so-called pirate ship. Rayna and Sam cross paths when Sam inadvertently ruins Rayna’s undercover mission to infiltrate a slavery operation by hijacking the slave ship and rescuing the slaves. With the slaves and Rayna onboard the Shadowhawk, Sam soon finds out that there are other things in play that will threaten the lives of the slaves and his crew. In addition, Sam and Rayna soon find that it’s impossible to resist the attraction that they have while they band together to fight a formidable opponent that they both despise.

There is a lot of action and Star Trek type fights. There’s mind control, healing lights, and space jumps. I would consider this an homage to all things sci-fi for sure. The descriptions of all of the alien creatures immediately made me think of Star Wars. There’s even a few battleship fights that will leave you on the edge of your seat. I was totally looking for Captain Kirk to make an appearance. Nonetheless, there was just as much romance as there was action. Sam and Rayna truly set the bed sheets on fire with their lovemaking. They have a lot more in common than you would expect. Sam is not exactly the pirate that you expect him to be. However, I did feel like there was a few details that were missing from his backstory. There is a character from the previous book who makes an appearance which I thought was a good way to tie things together.

This year I decided to get out of my reading rut. Sure, I was comfortable with my detective novels and police and courtroom procedurals. But there's more to life and literary pursuits. So when offered a copy of Donna S. Frelick's latest science fiction/romance story, I thought it would be an interesting diversion. After all, neither science fiction nor romance are among my favorite genres. I certainly didn't expect to love this book. But I did. Although it's part of a series I haven't read, I was never lost in the fast-moving yarn about two bold adventurers and their unsinkable attraction for each other. Undercover agent Rayna Carver and space pirate Sam Murphy meet as adversaries but become a formidable team as they liberate hapless souls taken captive by unscrupulous interstellar forces. To me, this story pretty much defies genre. Is it science fiction? Romance? Adventure? Morality tale? The answer to all is YES and well done. "Fools Rush In" is an absorbing read that spins a good story and sneaks in some provocative social justice themes that stay with you after you've landed back on earth. Definitely recommended. Especially for those who want to get out of a rut - and maybe head for outer space!

Fools Rush In is the third book in the author’s Interstellar Rescue Series, but it’s not a continuation. We go back to see how Rayna and Sam met and how their relationship evolved. Rayna has been one of my favorite characters from the previous books. She is a badass, strong, feisty heroine who doesn’t let anyone tell her that she can’t do something. Sam has always seemed like a laid back kind of guy. He never lets anything get to him. Not even the sexy Rayna.

Seeing their history and back story really helped me better understand the dynamic of their connection and how they fit together so well. While I loved the first two books, I absolutely LOVED this one! I think it is my favorite of all! This author does such a great job of pulling the reader in that you don’t realize you’re reading a Space/Sci-Fi book until it is over! Even then, the story doesn’t feel heavy with overwhelming sci-fi details. It’s just a good story.

I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series and can’t wait to see where it goes!

This book Was amazing! The author has as unique writing style and I don't usually read a lot of science fiction and was not a fan of star trek, but honestly I couldn't put down this book. I think Rayna was a well built main character, and the book wasn't lacking in excitement. Never a dull moment this book kept me locked to it all the way through! I rate it a solid 5 stars and as not a fan of science fiction I believe the author is on point with everything in this novel! Great job Donna Frelick.

Fools Rush In, is the third book in the Interstellar Rescue Series by Donna S. Frelick. I can’t convey how much I have really enjoyed reading this book, and series- it has been an awesome ride, which I hope will continue for a long while yet!
This superb space adventure- has a bit of a “Firefly” feel to it- and I also think the series would make a wonderful television show. It has so much going for it, from the clever sci-fi elements, to the brilliant world building, with lots of drama, danger, suspense, emotion, action, adventure, and intrigue- which was all woven in and around a steamy romance.
I actually consider this book to be a bit of a prequel to the series, as this takes us back to when and how Rayna and Sam meet. She was already working undercover for Interstellar Rescue, and he was a space pirate. Their story is everything I had hoped it would be, and I enjoyed getting to know them even better than I already did. I have loved Rayna and Sam from the moment I met them, so getting their whole story has been the icing on the cake for me. Rayna might be petite, but she’s no pushover- she’s brave, strong, skilled, funny, optimistic, and sassy- with a huge heart! She’s someone you would want on your team! Sam reminds me a lot of Malcolm Reynolds (Mal) from “Firefly”- he’s sexy, adventurous, and just a little cheeky. He meets his match in Rayna though, and how the sparks fly! One of my favourite couples, yet!
OMG, now that I have finished all the books in the series (to date), I really, really, really hope there are many more to come- and soon!!! (Hint, Hint, Hint, Ms. Frelick!) 😊
Such an entertaining, well written and intriguing story/series- highly recommended!!

Thank you, Ms. Frelick!

Fools Rush In by Donna S. Frelick is listed as book number 3 in the Interstellar Rescue Series, however this storyline takes place before what was written in book 2. Although it made me feel a bit out of sorts, I don’t feel as if you would need to read the first two books in the series to understand these characters or the plot of the novel. I feel like this book could be read as a stand-alone. Overall I really enjoyed the development of this story and Donnas’ writing is brilliant, as usual. The character descriptions were flawless and there was a perfect balance between steamy scenes and action packed battles!
Rayna Carver is an agent for Rescue. Her job is to go undercover on slave ships and rescue those who have been stolen into slavery. She is on the job, undercover, when the ship she is on is attacked and hijacked by pirates. Once aboard the pirate ship, known as the Shadowhawk, she meets Captain Sam Murphy. At first Rayna isn’t too fond of Murphy, whom she refers to as Captain Snark, but at the same time she is attracted to him.
Captain Sam Murphy meets Rayna Carver feels frustration, tension, and arousal? She comes to him with questions and demands, after all she still has a job to do. When things start going wrong with the ship they have to pair up to figure out what is going on and how to put an end to it. There is also the fact that there are two spies, working for a government, set on sabotaging the arms factory that Rayna is working at. There are so many twist and turns in this story. It will keep you on your toes and at the edge of your seat.

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3)
By: Donna S. Frelick
5 out of 5 stars

The story Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3) by Donna S. Frelick is a science fiction/romance book. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until I had read the final page. It has action, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Rayna Carver and Captain Sam Murphy. Rayna is a strong, independent, and stubborn woman. She is on a slave ship that is liberated by Sam. Captain Sam Murphy is strong, stubborn, and handsome. Rayna is on a mission and is determined to see it through. Will she get Sam’s to help her? There is an attraction between Sam and Rayna which is undeniable. Will they take a chance on each other? Will they be able to stop two spies that are determined to sabotage and arms factory? Read this book to find out. This story is a fast-paced story that has plenty of action and danger. It is also a story that has romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. There are many additional characters that are introduced. Some of them are helpful to Sam and Rayna while others have their own agenda and plans. Don’t miss out on an action-packed ride that will have you glued to the story until the final page. I highly recommend reading this book.

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue #3)
By Donna S. Frelick
4 stars

Fools Rush In is the great 3rd book in the Interstellar Rescue series and yet again another wonderful read by this author. I would highly recommend that these books are read in order for the maximum reader enjoyment however it can be read as a standalone. Again what stood out for me in this book apart from the great characters was the author’s wonderful world building. Her richly detailed writing makes the setting for this story and the characters completely come alive. I think out of this series so far this one is probably my favourite, I loved that it took place more in space than the previous books, I really felt like I was watching the story at times rather than just reading it.
I loved the characters, especially Rayna; she was a fantastic female lead, strong willed, independent and definitely not someone to be messed with. I liked Sam as well and when the two met I could tell that their relationship was going to be a good one!
Fools Rush in is another wonderful read in this series and again I highly recommend it!

I give Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3 by Donna S. Frelick, 4 stars.

Rayna is undercover on a slave ship. She knows what her mission is and readily plays the role she needs to get inside. But things don't go as planned. The slave ship is rescued by a pirate ship. While this is wonderful for the slaves aboard, it ruins everything for Rayna. Even more so when she has to explain what is really going on. Is there any way she can convince the captain to let her finish her mission? Or will his hatred for slavery ruin it all? What will it cost them? What of the attraction these two feel for each other?

This is my favorite book so far of the series. The story was so enthralling to me. I absolutely loved all the characters, the are all so different, but yet so real. The story is creative and new to me. Not to mention it kept twisting and turning on me to keep me on my toes. I could not put this book down, I was dying to see what happened next.

This can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading all of the books in the series since they are so good. If you are a fan of science fiction romance/action, this book is for you.

Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3 by Donna S. Frelick
My rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the 3rd book in the Interstellar Rescue Series. Another wonderful book by Donna S. Frelick. Like the first 2 books in the series, the 3rd one does a great job of pulling you right in from the start.

In this story we meet Rayna who is part of the Interstellar Rescue Service and she is on a mission to save slaves from slave ships. She runs into Sam, a space pirate that captures the slave ship she is undercover on and, gets him to work with her on her mission.

Rayna is a strong and independent woman, and I really enjoyed reading her character and seeing how she faced all the challenges she was put up against. The romance between her and Sam was very nice, and I really enjoyed them as a couple. The other aspect I found made the story more intriguing was the fact that the story for the most part took place on spaceships.

I would definitely recommend this series to any romantic sci-fi lover. It can be read a standalone, but the series is excellent so far when read in order.

Fools Rush In is the third book in Donna S. Frelick’s Interstellar Rescue Series. It’s got more of a classic sci-fi feel than the previous two books which I really enjoyed.
A prequel to the previous two books, Fools Rush In gives us the backstories of Sam and Rayna who we’ve encountered before as secondary characters. It’s great to understand more of their motivations and to see them getting to know each other when we already have an idea how things will end up.
I have enjoyed all of the series so far, but Fools Rush In has definitely been my favourite. I felt that the story was more focused, and I could really get absorbed in it. The space ship setting gave it a decidedly Star Trek feel, with enough originality that it has its own character. There are space pirates (space pirates! Pirates! In space!) and plenty of action and mystery to balance out the romance.
For me, this is a five star book. It works as a stand-alone and is an excellent addition to the series. I’d recommend starting at the beginning with Unchained Memory to enter Frelick’s exciting universe from a mundane and relatable Earth, but if you’re after a stand-alone space romance then this is a great choice!

Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3 by Donna S. Frelick was a compelling read that had me hooked.

First things first, though this says book three it can be read as a standalone. But I suggest reading the other books as they are just as multi-layered and rich. With that out of the way, let's get into it, shall we.

I have to say I did enjoyed this book far more than the others, and I believe that is because, this books takes place in space. I loved the concept, the danger and the tone. It has a bit of mystery, mixed of danger and romance, but the romance was more an add on than a main plot point, which jelled nicely. Making the story have a natural progressive feel. I love the MC's, the detail and the world-building. It brought you into this original read and kept you there. This book is truly something to be on the lookout for, and I can't wait to see what else there is to come.

Overall this book, this series is worth your time an energy, and it gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3) by Donna S. Frelick. This is the 3rd book in this series but it's actually a prequel so it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this book. Its the story of Interstellar Rescue "conductor" Rayna Carver who is deep undercover on a slave ship in space. Captain Sam Murphy is a space pirate with a love for saving slaver ships. Rayna has to try to convince Sam to help her continue her mission. When they meet sparks fly and chemistry is hot! This book is set mainly in Space where the others in this series are mainly on Earth which gives a whole new spin on things. Rayna is a very independent woman and has trouble asking for or taking help. There are tons of battles with both Rayna and Sam getting beat up but they seem to always help each other. Will Rayna and Sam save people from being taken from Earth to be used as Slaves in Space or will they end up battling each other to the point of losing the war. Will they take their relationship to the next level? Read Fools Rush In to find out!

Fools Rush In was a good 4 star read and book 3 in the Interstellar Rescue series. This can be read as a stand alone.

This is Rayna and Sam’s story. Rayna is an agent for the Interstellar Rescue service and Sam is a space pirate. This story takes place in space.

Sam meets Rayna when he and his crew take down a slaver ship, Rayna was on board undercover. Sam ends up ruining Rayna’s work and quickly finds himself in some unexpected trouble. Rayna and Sam join forces to fight together, spending time together also causes sparks to fly between them.

Will they be able to defeat the enemy? Will they get a HEA?

We get a lot of action and edge of your seat moments. Both Rayna and Sam are very strong characters. The bantering between Rayna and Sam had me LOL at times, they were perfect for each other. We also get some hot and steamy moments as well. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. If you're looking for a great series, 1-click and get started today.

Fools Rush In (Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3) by Donna S. Frelick

Fools Rush In is the third book in the Interstellar Rescue Series by Donna S.Frelick. I was hooked from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down. I will say this can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first two books as well. I must say the more Science Fiction/Romance I read the more I love the genre .Get ready for some action with a side of danger and romance. Captain Sam and Rayna, she’s a stubborn yet strong woman who is on a slave ship that’s liberated by Sam . Captain Sam and Rayna definitely have an attraction to each other. Can she get Sam to help her? Are they willing to take a chance on each other Find out what happens next in this fast paced story.I highly recommend reading not just this book but the series as well. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Usually not one for sci-fi novels, I tend to make an exception for Donna S. Frelick. I have really enjoyed the Interstellar Rescue Series and have always been left rapt for more. Fools Rush In is the third in the series, but could be read as its own novel. It really is actually a prequel more than anything so this may even be a good place to start if you want to meet the characters and have some more detailed back story. I’m sure after reading it you will be hooked on the series either way.

I love the characters Agent Rayna Carver and Pirate Sam Murphy. Both of them are great but together they are dynamite. I truly enjoy the equal grounding they both have as leads and as characters. The story is action-packed, literally straight out the gate, and it doesn’t slow down past lightning speed until the very end. The subtle romance was a nice touch to add depth of emotion as you read. I look forward to seeing what will come in the following books.

Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3 By Donna S. Frelick. Once again I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve come to love this series not because there’s anything wrong with it , I’m just not use to liking this genre. This author however is quickly changing my mind. Each book is quite the adventure of sci-fi and romance, which I think the author does a wonderful job of mixing together. Each character in this story is well thought out and relatable, each bringing something unique to the storyline. From page one I was hooked and ready to be reading for a while. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m giving this story a four star review and highly recommend it. Excited to see where the author takes readers next.

Fools Rush In: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 3
by Donna S. Frelick

This was an enjoyable read, and I'm glad I got to know some of the characters from the other books better. I have read the first two books in this series and they were a great read as well so I suggest reading them but you don't have to read them to enjoy and follow this one. This book is more of a prequel to the other 2 books. It is full of action and adventure, there also some steamy moments. The author is very detailed and makes you feel as though you can picture these places in your mind. I like this author's writing style, the story flows so well and there are wonderful characters. This series as a whole has been an entertaining read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend this book and this series.

Fools Rush In by Donna S. Frelick is the third book in the Interstellar Rescue Series. Each of these books can be read as standalones, although there are characters that appear in all the books. All the books in this series are exciting and fun to read.
One thing that I have come to expect from reading this series is that the author knows how to write great characters. The exact is the same for this book. I loved the main characters and how instant their connection was. It really added to the overall story and how gripping it was.
The whole book kept a great pace and was brilliant to read. I am excited to see what else there will be to come.
