A single picture reveals shocking crimes by those in power. Leo wants to investigate, but the network wants him to forget it.

But forgetting it isn't an option. Pale lidless eyes are creeping into his vision. Nightmares of torture and death are invading his sleep. Something’s tormenting him, and it won’t let him forget what he’s learned.

3.5 stars. I had an extremely hard time staying with this story. I think it was well written and extremely well thought out. However, it was very slow and there was a very extended amount of dialogue. Leo wasn’t very likeable and, although he had a tremendous amount of intrigue surrounding his character, the likability factor plagued my level of interest. I think it could also have been shortened quite a bit, and maybe trimmed up some of the repetitive scenes, especially as it related to Trevor. The ending was also pretty good, but I was so fatigued by the time I got there that the impact didn’t hit me as much as it probably should have. I think fans of strictly thrillers and, more specifically, political thrillers will find more enjoyment here than a horror/psychological thriller/cryptid erotica fan such as myself.

I loved the story, with moments that were predictable at times and others that weren't so much. It had a finale that was as beautiful as it was horrible. It felt like an episode of Masters of Horror. Robbie Dorman really delivered on my first read, and I'm really satisfied.

I loved this book, I had a hard time putting it down. It comes from a perspective that you don't see a lot in horror, but see far too much in real life. This is a book full of terrible people doing terrible things. Robbie Dorman has a pretty perfect touch with the supernatural element letting it add something of interest without pulling too much focus from what is an already intriguing story. I have enjoyed all of his book that I have checked out but this is probably my favorite that I have read so far.

I’m—- I’m astounded at how perfectly it lined up to read this book with the particulars of current events going on. Robbie Dorman refused to be quiet about the coverups and corruption in political spheres, and forms a beautiful, yet gruesome, story of power and greed and the hope held by those who seek to fight it. I felt the rage of Truth. I felt the confusion of guilt and fear. I felt the gut punch of learning your life is not what it seemed at first. These characters have depth, and are a reminder that people can be a mess of intentions and emotion as both villains and heroes.

The truth always steps forward.

Fairly good story of what everyone believes that the truth will do for you. The ending? You'll have to read.

An intense paranormal investigation

A faux news anchorman is confronted by Truth's frightening and unflinching spirit after a horrific discovery.

This book had me on the edge of my seat. The pacing is superb as well as the protagonist character growth. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

The Truth

This was an interesting read. I had to keep going. Had to see what happened to Leo. I was slightly disappointed with the end, just slightly. It was still a good read!
