August 2, 2019Another pathetic heroine who has been crushing/in love with hero since they were kids. Has seen him with women but he just stopped sleeping around because he’s tired of having meaningless hook ups. Yada yada, same old, same old.
Now he said it’s been a long time without a woman/hook up but for heroes in books long time means a couple of months for them. For me long time means years if not decades.
“As far as the women? There aren’t any. It’s been a long time.”
“Dry spell, Justice?” I tease. I want to wrap my arms around him and beg him to let me be the woman that breaks the spell.
“I guess you could say that. One of my choosing that is.” He turns to look at me. “Randoms no longer interest me.” My heart flips over in my chest at his confession.”

Unexpected Fight by Kaylee Ryan is an emotional story about love and facing the unexpected. This is the second book in the Unexpected Arrivals series and though I have not yet read the first book, I was able to read this one with no issues. Though I am very excited to go back and read the first book in the series.
This is Tyler and Reagan’ story. Reagan is the younger sister of the hero in the first book of the series. Ridge, Tyler and a group of other guys are best friends and have known each other for years. Reagan and Tyler have been circling around each other for about a year, but neither was sure how the other felt. Until one night changes everything. Their connection is undeniable and their love strong. I loved watching them come together, but it’s what they face as they move forward that will test that love.
I truly enjoyed reading Unexpected Fight by Kaylee Ryan. The story started out fun, light and full of steamy chemistry. Tyler and Reagan were good together. Watching what they faced broke my heart. But these two had a strong foundation of family and friends. I am excited to see what comes next in this series!

Almost 3 years after Kaylee Ryan stole our hearts with Ridge and Kendall's story in Unexpected Reality she’s back in the Unexpected Series but this time we get Reagan and Tyler's story in Unexpected Fight.
Reagan and Tyler have been in each others lives forever, Reagan is Ridge’s little sister, and while they have been dancing around their attraction for years and while some may find that easy, there’s also the question of will our families accept this? Once they decided that they were worth fighting for they were explosive in the best possible way. Their connection had always been there through friendship but now to see them take it to this whole new step was a truly beautiful journey.

It was fine, it just wasn’t for me.
It has over 4 star ratings on here which I think is 100% understandable for the people who like that trope, but like I said it’s not normally me.
These are wholesome romance books, like Insta love, marriage, and babies. Little to no conflict and happily ever afters.
I’m more of a toxic person. So, I prefer the toxic books. However, this whole series is good for when you’ve binged too much dark stuff and need a light break 😂

When I learned this author was going to make Unexpected Reality into a series.....I squealed like a little girl! I was just that excited! Ridge was totally swoon-worthy in that book, and his buddies were just as awesome. When this book landed on my Kindle, I couldn't get started fast enough! Tyler and Reagan caught my attention in Ridge & Kendall's book, and I couldn't get them out of my head. Was something going on between them? Would they find their HEA? What path would they travel down?
Reagan has had a crush on Tyler forever. But he is one of her older brother's best friends, and she's scared he doesn't feel the same way about her or that she will loose the friendship that means so much to her. Tyler has the same fears, but knows what he wants. He just has to find a way to get it!
This book was absolutely amazing! It was a sweet love story, that reminds us that love doesn't stop after you find each other. It continues through life's ups and downs, and is there when you need it most. Be prepared for some sighs of happiness, some tense moments, and a few tears. This is the kind of book that you read in one sitting, then read again to savor. As much as I loved Ridge and Kendall, Tyler and Reagan just may be my new favorite!

Ty is an easy goiing guy, “pack a bag.” She raises her eyebrows. “Or don’t. Naked is good too.” Reagan is often times surprised by her man, “porch swing, huh? How long have you been planning this?” I liked this book, I fell in love with Tyler the man was just all for his woman.

It’s no secret I’ve always adored Ridge and Kendall. In fact, that book is how I found Ms. Ryan. But holy moly did Tyler and Reagan blow me away. I couldn’t put this book down from the very beginning and I’m not sure I breathed through the last part of the book. I adored this story and these characters. And I’ll tell you what, I’ll always have a soft spot and a special place in my heart for Kendall and Ridge but there’s always room for more. Meaning Tyler and Reagan are right there too. I can’t wait for more that’s for sure!!!

With this one I kept waiting for the "bad thing" to happen. After the first book I knew it would come. Yet it was happy, easy, the biggest hurdle was Tyler and Reagan decided that they did like each other and could date. All their family was like "Finally!" But like I said I was waiting for the bad thing, then when it happened it wasn't all that bad and I thought, she is going to trick us, it will be worse. I'm happy to say that it didn't, things only got better for everyone, something I was immensely grateful for!

I finished Unexpected Fight this morning before work...y'all have tissues handy. I am not normally one who cries during books or movies (I have no soul according to my mother lol) but there were tears during this book. I love Tyler and between him and Ridge, he's my favorite although Ridge will always be amazing!

Przez większość książki zastanawiałam się po co ta walka w tytule i co będzie tym plot twistem, bo to było tak obleśnie cukierkowe, że aż bolały mnie zęby. Wszystko, dosłownie wszystko się bohaterom udawało, było mega pospieszone i działo się naraz. I to w takiej otoczce "jesteś idealny, kocham cię, wszystko nam się udaje, rzygamy tęczą". Strasznie nie lubię takich książek, bo to jest aż nienaturalne. Taka słodycz i radość bijąca z książki jest gorsza niż niejeden horror.

Kaylee Ryan has done it again. It's no secret I am a huge Kaylee Ryan fan, but seriously, Unexpected Fight is going to rank right up there as one of my top favorites of her books now. I am so glad and so excited that Kaylee decided to write more in this series. I absolutely loved Unexpected Reality, and I loved Unexpected Fight. It was so wonderful to finally see and hear from previous much loved characters. Tyler and Reagan’s story is heart melting and pulls on all the heartstrings.
I don't know how Kaylee Ryan does it, but she writes these stories that completely hooks you in and make you get 1000% invested; the characters are amazing, the stories is fantastically well-crafted and the secondary characters are awesome and always gives that little extra. All of these things are bundled together to create something spectacular. She does it all, and does it with ease. And the heroes she creates are some of the most swoon-worthy I have ever had the pleasure of reading.
Unexpected Fight was a friends to lovers/ brother's best friend story which I always enjoy. These characters are perfect and it is impossible not to love them. This story had its emotional moments and it had it’s fair share of angst, but it was real and there was so much love. I could not put this book down for anything. I loved it. Definitely up there as one of my favourite Kaylee Ryan books.

I seem to be in the minority here as everyone I stalk and trust for book recommendations loved it hard. I was such a massive fan of Unexpected Reality. But I read it so long ago I can't really remember much about it except that I loved it so much. And when I saw Unexpected Fight I expected it to be angsty and sad.
So I held off reading it until I had the time to immerse myself in all the feels. And when I hit the 50% mark without drama or sadness I started getting anxious about what was coming and skimming the pages. And when the first bit of drama hit it didn't have the impact I was waiting for. Not to minimise what the couple was going through but I just didn't really care.
Which kind of makes me a coldhearted bitch but I just didn't feel it. Then when I was hit with the second drama I hadn't gotten invested enough in the couple due to my skimming. It all felt a little bit too neat. It hit and was wrapped up too close to the end of the book.
Now don't get me wrong the writing was good and I liked the characters I just didn't get what I expected. And if I had read this another day I probably would have enjoyed it. So for today this is a 3.5 star read. But I will be adding it to my re-read in a few years when I don't have any unexpected expectations.

Kaylee Ryan is back with the next book in this Unexpected Arrivals series and ooohhh my goodness! This book was everything! I really adore Kaylee Ryan and all the words she writes. I've been a huge fan for a long time and with each book and each new character, she just continues to get better and better.
Unexpected Fight was really good... so unexpected and completely unforgettable. This journey and our two main characters knocked me on my butt, literally and figuratively from the very moment they arrived on my kindle (I mean did you even take a look at that blurb?!).
An older brother's-best friend, new adult romance with a curveball that will take a big dig at your heart, feels that'll hit you hard and long, and undeniable chemistry that'll have your e-reader steaming and practically overheating. Reagan and Tyler had me hooked right from the beginning and packed a serious punch full of heat, heart, passion, and so many emotions.
Brilliant follow up to the first in this series, Unexpected Reality followed with another swoony, sweet, steamy, unputdownable standalone in this series.
I highly recommend this book.

I've been waiting for years for Tyler and Reagan's story and now that I've read it, I couldn't get enough of it because it was way more awesome that I originally expected it to be! I enjoyed every page of this read and at the end, I fell hard for this couple and rooting for their well deserved happy ending and when I did finish this, I had a big smile on my face because the ending was FABULOUS! <3 <3

Przyjemna książeczka opowiadająca losy Reagan, siostry Ridge'a, oraz Tylera, ale trochę za bardzo skoncentrowana na ciąży bohaterki i narodzinach dzieci. Jest co prawda lekki dramat, tylko jak dla mnie bohaterowie są zbyt kryształowi, za idealni. Jak się za dużo poczyta o takich chodzących ideałach, to może być potem problem z tolerowaniem zachowania małżonka :D

Oh man, Kaylee Ryan has done it again. Ridge has always held a special place in my heart and will continue to do so, but now Tyler will also have a piece of my heart too.
I don't know how Kaylee Ryan does it, but she writes these stories that completely suck you in and make you get 1000% invested; the characters are amazing, the story is amazing, the secondary characters are awesome...just everything lines up to create something amazing. Three years after Unexpected Reality comes Unexpected Fight the second book in Kaylee Ryan's Unexpected Arrivals series. Don't worry, it's a stand-alone, but I have to admit that the beginning was a little abrupt for my taste. The blurb doesn't reveal much, so I will go a little beyond the info it provides us. You see, the story is about Ty and Reagan. Reagan is Ridge's sister from book 1 and Ty is his best friend, which made the book belong in one of my favorite genres. Their story goes beyond your average happily ever after, but I can't reveal anything else.
Halfway through the book, I started to wonder what kind of monstrosities the author had planned for our characters because things were going so well and if had ended the book then, I would have felt like I had read a complete story. Well, that's when the blurb kicks in and an emotional journey began for our characters. I was not disappointed by what the author planned for them and I was a little shocked by some things I read. No worries, there is nothing that might trigger someone. We just see what the characters are fighting and it was very realistic to be honest so kudos to the author.
Unexpected Fight was one of the best books I read in a while and I would definitely recommend it.

What a beautiful follow up to Unexpected Reality! We watched Reagan & Ty's relationship start to bloom in Ridge & Kendall's book, and I'm so happy to see their full story!
The way their relationship unfolds in these pages was just a joy to read. I wanted to smack Reagan a couple of times because she was being a little dense to what was going on around her, but overall I enjoyed her, too. ; ) I love the sense of FAMILY in this series, and getting to experience those interactions as well. And Ty!! Oh, Tyler, you are one magnificent book boyfriend.
This story is a lot of fun, but there is definitely an "unexpected fight" - which went in a completely different direction than I'd thought it was going, so that was pretty cool. It'll tug at your heartstrings just like it tugged on mine!
Love this story & series & looking forward to reading about the next guy in Ridge's posse falling into the wonder of love. : )

After I read Unexpected Reality last year, I was hoping she would make it a series. I was so happy when Kaylee announced the rest of the guys would be getting a book. I adored Ridge and Kendall's book so much. We met Tyler and Reagan in that book and I was dyinnnn for their story. You knew something was brewing there.
Tyler and Reagan belong together. I love the whole brother's best friend trope or best friends little sister trope. These two were so ridiculously in love with each other, they didn't even see it. Tyler absolutely ADORES Reagan and I was totally swooning over this guy. Like, please send me a Tyler ASAP! This story will fill you with so much happiness, so much heart eyes, some tears, some tough emotions, but Kaylee wrote their story perfectly. They deserve so much happiness. I can't wait for the rest of the guys stories!!!!

This story was a complete and total whirlwind. The fast-paced story line had me tearing through the pages. There was so much going on in this story but somehow Ryan didn’t make it feel like too much. Emotionally charged and full of excitement and swoon worthy moments, I couldn’t get enough. I loved Reagan and Tyler in Unexpected Reality and was excited to see they were getting a story. Ryan gave us whole, complex characters. We got to see them grow as both individuals and as a couple. I loved their connection and the way their relationship progressed. These two were in hyper-speed and I was totally onboard for the ride. Ryan sets up an opportunity for another story and I’m excited to see what she does with it.

Kaylee does it again
I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Kaylee and this one did not disappoint. First off that cover is drool worthy! Then there is Tyler wow what a man that’s all I can say. And Reagan loved her as well. I laughed and I cried a few times. This book was everything. I’ve waited to get their story and let’s just say it did not disappoint. Available on Kindle Unlimited at time of review.

Tyler and Reagan are omg amazing characters. I highly enjoyed this story. I like how all the back ground characters are big players in the story.

Oh my goodness! Tyler and Reagan were everything! I loved every little thing about these two! There was so much love between them! I was such a mess. So glad they had each other throughout everything! ❤️
