Onigawara Shouzou spends his days working a tiresome job at an IT company, but his life changes when, on a rainy night, he meets a goddess named Silvia—and that's not an exaggeration, she's an actual goddess! That night, she stays in Shouzou's apartment, and their growing attraction to one another becomes more apparent as the night goes on...

The next 13 years of Shouzou's life pass by in a flash, and he couldn't be happier with his new job, beautiful wife Silvia, three daughters, and brand new home. But due to some unfortunate circumstances, his house and everyone in it get transported to another world full of magic and monsters! After finding out they can't go back to their world for at least a year, Shouzou decides that he must support his family the only way he knows how: by joining the sales department of a local guild!

Pretty decent opening volume. Introduced a lot of characters, but didn't feel too overwhelming. The business approach was kinda nice to see. I thought for sure the story would be more "Businessman solves quests for guild under the guise of being a normal guild staff", but no, it's much more focused on changing practices, acquiring guild staff / expanding, and dealing with red tape. There are some fantastical elements (monster girls, elves, dragons, goblins) sprinkled in to keep the flavor exciting, but it's definitely more of a slice of life guild based story than an adventurous romp. Think of it like some of those kingdom building books, but instead it's Guild building.

My biggest gripe is probably that the cover and the title don't really together that well; the story is much more about the "business" side of things that the title mentions, and the goddess wife is more of a Deus Ex Machina contrivance used when needed to speed things up. Even her daughters are more of a character than the mom outside of the prologue, and they only appear in side chapters between the main story mostly.

I took a look at volume 2, and it seems like it focuses on a new character, so not looking forward to that. The first volume was less a single story with a regular progression and more interconnected chapters where there's a new challenge or idea to help the business of the guild each chapter. Knowing that the next volume is the last one, it's just a little extra disappointing that it is also focused on one new character and not focused on expanding on the relationships between the characters we already know.

The plot and chain of event is quite sketchy but ultimately it was a fun read. Just picture a 41 year old (unless my math is wrong) along with his goddess of a wife (literally) and 3 daughters suddenly transmigrated to another world. You would be forgiven to ask "What power do they get?" but hell no they don't get any as it turns out the house was the transmigration target (yep, their house got some sort of high defense as power. no it didn't talk or do anything - yet). But then, the husband and wife pair is not any normal couple sooooo... that's where the fun comes into the equation. Also, be warned that there's a lot of 'sales' talk and 'business' discussion or whatnot. Could get pretty boring at times if you're not into it. I flew over quite a few paragraph because of this.

The book is an entertaining twist to a familiar plot. The isekai protagonist might be powerful, but hates fighting and decides to make a living as a salesperson just as he did in Japan. The fact that he is already married and has three kid daughters and they are with him is different as well. His story about enervating the adventure guild business is mixed with the occasional piece on his three daughters.

There is a bit of the usual ecchi (mostly breast discussions), but only between the three daughters and remains rather tame although still weird. The father acts like a father and for now acts like a father also to the other young women in his life. No extreme character quirks either, except maybe for one or two side characters. No real fights either, but that is to expected when the protagonist can kknock out a dragon in one hit.

It is of course a comedy light novel, so don't expect too much depth. Still, it was entertaining and I am looking forward to the next part.

This should be entitled Middle-aged Businessman Promotes Sales in Another World. The main character Onigawara Shouzou, along with his goddess wife and three children, gets transmigrated into a fantasy world where adventurers and magical beasts are the norm. He, being the breadwinner of the family, goes in search of a job and ends up joining a bottom-tier adventurer's guild. With his other world sales skills, he promises to make their guild number one.

I'm not the biggest fan of this author's writing style but I really enjoyed the basic premise of the story. It was a really fresh take on the otherwise overused isekai trope. The marketing techniques used in the plot are sound and show that the author either has personal experience and/or solid researching skills. I'd love to see this in an anime format.

1.5 ⭐️

The main lead might as well be transported by himself and it won’t make any difference in the story. His whole family are just there to be his accessory. His wife is a very powerful goddess with zero personality. She is just there for fan service and as the source of the main character’s overwhelming powers. The daughters are weirdly obsessed with breasts. 🤮 The guy is so overpowered that there’s no problem that he cannot resolve in a single instant. His way is better than everyone. I don’t even know why he must be employed. He can still purchase stuff from earth so it’s more logical if he can sell earth things for money. Every male character in the book is either unattractive or incompetent.

The genre is combination of fantasy and slice of life. A high level of romance X fantasy at first 🤣 an ordinary man met with an angel, and an extraordinary one 😅
Then here 13 years going... the adventure in Another World begun with his children...

Interesting premise that.... promptly gets thrown away for some ridiculous "corporate turn-around" drama that I really didn't ask for...?

Really, the first 2 chapters or so hooked me in quite strongly with its description of our protagonist meeting his soulmate and after a whirlwind romance, get married have three kids and settle down....only to be taken to another world by accident.

What usually ensues is some normal fantasy thing with dungeon crawling but instead this time, the author decides to actually go... and reform the whole Guild system with the protagonist turning an entire industry upside down with his "revolutionary" sales tactics..? Okay.

I'm not really a stickler for standard setups but it's one thing to pull things off well and another to just do things to be novel, and sadly this title kinda flops at the second half with events suddenly happening at breakneck pacing with nary much explanation that would make sense and the abnormal tendency of web-novel writers to just throw in characters to progress the plot instead of actually developing them.

So yeah, while I do think the setup is pretty novel, it's also hampered by the immature writing and barely understandable plot devices. Not really recommended unless you just like reading about 40-year old men with 3 daughters working a desk job in a swords-and-magic world.

A new perspective to other world summonings

Not only is the MC not someone in his teenage hormone-induced years, he has the experience that's necessary to help a run-down guild become one of the best. And with the love and support of his family backing him, he has the motive to do everything that is within his abilities to bring his workplace to untold heights

An interesting premise. The book started well, but i lost interest about half way through and found it difficult to finish. Probably much more interesting if you have an interest in business or sales.

Super salesman

I enjoyed reading it. The story of an over powered salesman and the side stories of his family. It is an interesting approach to a day to day activities and the super powers of a men bless at least once a day by his goddess wife.
