If you are looking at this review you are probably just like me. You have this book burning a hole in your mind which you just need to get out. Not only that, but you really want to do it in such a way that you can earn significant (or maybe even just a little) income from your work. Download the book and begin to learn how you, too, can become a published author and make some money along the way.
Does this book answer all the questions with regards to self (ebook) publishing? No. How could it in an industry that seems to be changing from moment to moment. Probably before the author had finished her final draft, new innovations were already presenting themselves. It doesn’t slow down for anyone.
What we do have here is a clear road map which will help any of us chart our path forward through the maze of creating a significant income through writing. Now, that is something to write home about!
Staflund, has pulled together years of research and practice into a highly readable book from which all of us who are interested in writing can learn. Profitable Publishing Today is a compendium of blogs and other writing which Staflund has used over the years to educate her audience. Now she has done the indie and self-publishing world a tremendous service by including it all in one significant tome which we can use to move forward.
Is the book perfect, no. But it has given me key bits of information which I can use to move forward in my dream of selling my books and actually making money doing so. Maybe it will help you as well. You won’t know until you pick up the book and begin reading.

A good overview of how to get started as an indie author..
I would have like more detailed direction on how to implement the system outlined in this book. The examples of successful authors were inspiring but a stretch for someone just starting out. Overall an interesting and informative read but not a clear, specifics roadmap for authors entering the field.
