What happens when doing good, also requires becoming evil?

Celestia, first born daughter of mermaid royalty, was ripped away from her loving mother. The conch shell birthmark on her shoulder guaranteed that. But it’s her power and dark family secret that keeps her an outcast.

A sentence to the Wicked Reform School is both a blessing and a curse even if the only way out is to graduate or die. Not great odds for someone who hates being wicked.

When an escape attempt goes wrong, Noah and Liam, two humans, rescue her. Or at least she thought they were human. Could everything she knows be wrong?

Not wanting her to be alone, Noah and Liam enlist their undercover partners, Jaxyten and Kairo to keep an eye on her. Alliances are key to survival. And the key to destruction.

To survive, the game must be played. If not, death hangs in the balance.

Together the five are ready to turn the world upside down and buck the system. But first they need to stay alive.

NARCOTIZE: HOUSE OF MERMAIDS is a reverse harem academy romance with a twist that is part of the Wicked Reform School world! At this reform school, you’ll discover wicked paranormals, wicked punishments, and wicked pleasure, like you’ve never read before!

Wicked Reform School is a reverse harem paranormal new adult multi-author shared world series with unique stories featuring characters who walk the line of their paranormal laws.

2.5-3 stars for me. Well this book had a completely different feel from book one in the Wicked Reform series. Of course different authors and all that.. Honestly I'm definitely intrigued about what is in store for our little siren FMC, Celestia, here.. This book really didn't get much of her story going. It seems as though this book was just a gathering of men. So yea our harem is gtg maybe now we can find out what is really going down not only with Celestia's powers but also this "blood of Lilith." Because while I have an idea of who Lilith is methodologically she isn't always portrayed the same in every book and I have nothing really to go on here. Luckily the reform school world had already been built, since I read the first book, honestly I wasn't paying all that much attention to whether or not this author rebuilt it so that this book could stand alone or if my knowledge from the first book was bleeding over a bit.

Celestia is sent to reform school because she refuses to use her siren powers to turn people into slaves, and instead wants to save the world from bullies. We know this because she says it not because thats what happened in the book. She also has some odd powers as a siren. Where most sirens gain power through touch, Celestia's powers can be drained through unwanted touch. This puts her in a precarious place in her new school. Fortunately a couple of real handsome dudes take her under their wing almost instantly upon arrival. And of course they have friends, who are very friendly..

The book almost abruptly ends with her getting her ducks in a row, after a very dangerous incident. Apparently there is more to come but I'm not really sure the "why" of it except that Celestia seems bound and determined to rid the world of the bullies starting with the reform school.

Why must there be another cliff hanger 😐 lol. I understand that you could not give me a true ending but, the characters sailing away wasn't enough I needed more but I suppose looking pass that this book was amazing I loved it. I found minor errors but nothing that took away from the amazing story. I have always been fascinated with Mermaids and I know a lot of people who have read the stories of the sirens of Greek mythology. I enjoyed that the tidbit about the sirens luring men to their deaths was added in this story, it made it that much harder not to finish this story. (Spoiler Alert Spoiler Ahead). This story took me on an emotional roller coaster when two of her guys shunned her I felt for her, I was glad when she finally met her other two mates but then I find out that they all know each other I don't know if I can trust two of her mates they hurt her and at a time when that really was not something they should have done. (Spoiler Over). I do know that I have to read what happens next so I will be reading the next book I give this book for and a half stars it truly was a work of art.

This! This is what we need! Great story and the storyline is amazing. I love the way TB Mann writes and I have for years now. She does it again with this wonderfull Mermaid book and I can't get enough of it. This is a shared universe but can be read as a stand-alone.

This was an Ok read but it just lacked a certain spark that was needed to make it a good read. Storey was enjoyable but lacked a certain amount substance - it was almost like this was a prequal to a greater series rather than a storey in its own right

2.5

The story is not bad but there’s some obvious parts missing in the story.

Celestia seems to be weak almost the entire story. Only one time she was “strong” but unfortunately she doesn’t remember what happened.

It felt sorta insta-love with no real substance.
