Three of my favourite books together - could it get any better?
This collection is the first three books out of ten in the Alliance series and I would recommend you read/listen to the series in order. You do not have to read/ listen to the Vampire Awakening series before this. All three books contain triggering content such as death, violence, mention of imprisonment and mention of past childhood trauma.
I remember the first time I read each of these books for the first time upon release and listening to them just enhanced the adventure, danger and love.
Eternally Bound - Ronan and Kadence.
Brenda K Davies’ writing is so vivid that if you close your eyes you can see the scenes happening. Kadence is a strong willed and independent woman; I love how Ronan fully supports and loves her for who she is. Davies’ characters are always perfectly matched in strength. I like how Hollie Jackson depicted both Ronan and Kadence.
Bound by Vengeance - Nathan and Vicky.
Vicky is an immensely complex character: she is incredibly strong and funny, but also has a side to her that she doesn’t let anyone see. I really enjoyed learning more about Nathan and seeing how protective he was of Vicky was swoon-worthy. Jackson very accurately presented Vicky and Nathan, I could definitely imagine that it was actually them talking.
Bound by Darkness - Killean and Simone.
Surprisingly Killean became my favourite male character tied with Ronan in the entire series (I’ve read all ten books). Simone was also an extremely likeable and real character. To uplift from the addicting action and spine-chilling danger, there were incredibly sweet and funny moments between these two characters. Again, Jackson differentiated her voice to fit with the characters’ personality.
Each book was an epic love story where love conquered all and yet at the same time so much more than just a love story … it was about redemption, sense of responsibility versus putting yourself first and found family.
All three books continued to build on the unique world building and intriguing/ mind-blowing plot that is unlike anything else I have ever read.
Overall, Hollie Jackson is a great narrator and the amazing storytelling, loveable characters and her rendition is the reason I’ve listened to the audiobook so many times. The only reason I’ve not gave her the full five stars is because I’ve compared her to other narrators I’ve listened to whose performances were astonishing.
I am so glad that these stories were grouped together … just pure bliss for 28 hours. This collection is something you have to experience yourself to truly understand how magical it is.

Eternally Bound 4⭐️ - a great opening to this series with an easy way to build background stories, reveal the specific details of the vampires, hunters, and savages without it feeling boring or taking away from the book storyline. Having a hunter be a fated mate to a born vampire adds an interesting twist and more drama to the story. Thankfully her brother is open minded whereas her intended is not so open minded and could cause future issues for the Kadence and Ronan her mate in upcoming books.
Bound by Vengeance 3.5⭐️ - Vicky the previously enslaved pure blood vampire by the savages finds herself mated to Nathan a hunter and Kadence’s older brother. Such a strange progression of the series with yet another hunter/vampire mating which seems strange but maybe that is what the mates were so rare. Great ending even with a cliff hanger. We see the start to Simone and Killian’s mating bond in this book and her absolute loathing of kissing him, and he runs off to get her after Joseph and the savage vampires took her and the hunters with her.

So far so good..
So I read the Vampire Awakening series before starting this series.. and I devoured that series so I wanted to give this one a try..I got glimpses of the Vampire Defenders so I was looking forward to reading this series.. but I just didn't love this series as much as I did the other one..I just wanted something more from them as a group I guess..or like they were building something more that just an alliance but more of a family.. and you'd think that the Vampire Defenders would be more closer after working together for hundreds of years together yet they barely even know each other? Like really? And in each book I found I didn't really care for at least one of the main characters.. like the first book with Ronan he's good with Kadence but his personality sucks with everyone else.. then the second book I couldn't really stand Vicky and I was really looking forward to her book! And in the third book I didn't care for Simone..and why did it take so long to take down Joseph? It really felt like a joke..idk..with all that being said there was still much I did like about the series.. so far it was still a good read about good vs. bad vamps, mates, drama, suspense, smut and action and I'm glad I got to read it and I do plan on reading more and finishing this series..

The Alliance us in an interconnecting series with the amazing “Vampire Awakenings” series.. and I love that series too, since the world building starts there and whole extensive set of Byrne family gets connected here on the Alliance. You should read both series in the order it connects, but the Alliance books? Are not just romance like Awakenings, they’re also full of Action and so many interesting plots, since they’re all Purebloods, and much older than the Byrnes. It also has the Hunters, Vampires all combined in exterminating the Savages. I LOVED the Alliance books and the WHOLE series that begins w “Awakened” and it’ll connect with Ronan’s book, the 1st Alliance. So worth the read of all of it, and I’ll continue for as long as she keeps writing and bringing more plots, characters and mates, opening this large world she created. 10 stars if I could to ALL books.

The Alliance Series Bundle (Books 1-3
Never have I read a book so full of so much action. I literally could not put this series down! The action and fight scenes are so vivid, you feel like you are living it too! Seemed like every time Simone and Killian would get out of one mess, there was another one to try and take them down
I can’t wait to read book four. It surely will hold a lot more interesting and lively things to keep readers on their toes.
I am not really surprised at how good this book is with the author being Brenda K Davies! She is one of my favorites!!!

Vampires and Hunters...
Although throughout the years the vampires and Hunters were always enemies, there was another enemy that was the common enemy for both sides. Add to that the fact that vampires were finding their mates in the hunters and you have a union that rivals none other. The first 3 books on this series had everything. Danger, anger, death and of course love. This series is turning into something I never saw coming. Cannot wait to read the next book.

Excellent!
Brenda has always written excellent and amazing books, no matter what name she writes under. This book bundle is absolutely a must-read! I'm so excited to continue with this series and can't wait to find out what happens next and who or what that thing is that is after them all. But, I do have my suspicions. But, I'll have to wait and see if I'm correct or not. And I can't wait to further this journey to find out! It's exilerating!

I started to listen to this series on audible, and I at first thought she was putting in little nods to the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, by J.R. Ward. Then it just became blatant plagiarism. One of the main "heros" had a thing for lollypops (Rhage BDB) The butler, the mansion, the drinking parlor with a pool table. Even the fancy furniture that looks like the legs should break from the guys sitting on it. I got so angry I stopped listening. Save your time and just read the BDB series.

Enemies to lovers
Such an awesome read. This whole set was so amazing as born enemies fall in love with each other. I love each character and what they bring to the story. Definitely a page turner. Can't wait to dive into the next book.

Brilliant
I loved this series and I am looking forward to the next box set. Ronan and his Alliance are formidable. It was full of twists and turns. It was a riveting read, well done Brenda for showing good always wins against evil.

Captivating
I had never read any of this authors work but I look forward to reading more. I just finished reading Alliance series 1 through 3. The story and characters are both fascinating and spell binding. Truly hard to put down. Now time to move on to the rest of the series.

I love this series so far. I find it hard to stop reading to get other things accomplished. I just want to binge read. I love all the characters and the word building is top notch. I can't wait to read more.

The Alliance
This bundle was the best buy ever. Strong storyline with interesting characters. Found myself unable to place it down. The flu virus kept me home and gave me the time to indulge myself in reading a good novel.

The audiobook set for books 1-3 was on Audible Plus. I just don’t really like the vampire lore introduced here and it starting off with the MMC’s (the vampire’s) POV in book 1.
