The Warrior Code

Rate this book
Matthew Barrett is a SEAL combat leader who wears the Navy Cross, proof of his prowess as a warrior, and an irrefutable symbol of his personal valor. Yet as adept as he was in the art of war, Matthew was a failure at love and still haunted by the long shadow of his father. His overdue break from near continuous combat tours is suddenly interrupted when he’s injected into an international crisis in Central America and finds he’s once again required to execute an impossible task that could very well be a one way trip. The Warrior Code is Book two in M. L. Strong’s SEAL STRIKE exciting new series of action novels.

Book Review - Matthew Barrett is a Navy SEAL who is adept in the art of war, but a failure at love and author M.L. Strong writes a very compelling story about Navy SEALs and how important their mental health is in their private lives as it is out on the battlefield. This narrative tells of Barrett’s overdue break from continuous combat tours and is suddenly interrupted again when he’s ordered to an international crisis in Central America. Once again he finds himself required to execute an impossible task that could very well be his last! “The Warrior Code” is book two of four in Author M. L. Strong’s exciting series of Navy SEAL action novels, SEAL Strike. Authentic, fast-paced and detailed heavy, The Warrior Code is action-oriented and reveals insights into what it’s like to be a Navy SEAL and provides readers a sense of the mental struggles beyond the physical challenges that these warriors must go through. Not a short story but only 265 pages of pure adrenaline and valor. I really like this quick read series and recommend all four books.

just as good as the first…..

I throughly enjoyed this, I like the fact that the stories are about a SOF unit doing what they do, I normally read political/intelligence based thrillers so this is refreshing. The author needs a better editor/proof reader though, there are quite a few errors (wrong dates and on at least one occasion characters are mixed up. All in all a cracking read.

Second better then the First

Again, great SEALs book. Very detailed in ways that other books in this category are not. Loved it. Starting the third book immediately. Sure hope there are many more after the next one.
