Katie is a successful manager and talented artist. She manages her sister Aggi's musical career. She not only manages her, but writes her music as well. Katie enjoys what she does and loves her sister dearly. But when her new stalker fan Walters letters begin to make her feel unease, she has no choice but to call the police.
Ben and Ray are members of a special department called Special Investigations. They investigate the paranormal or occulata. The occulata came out a few years back and now he is in charge of protecting them and the normals. When Ray and Ben get a new case involving a serial killer, it is up to them to provide support to prove it is an occulata involved.
Ben and Kate's attraction is instantaneous and wild. Neither is ready for their feelings and with a killer after Katie, Ben is spiraling out of control. With no regards to his job, he jeopardizes everything in order to make sure Katie stays safe. Can Ben find the killer before he kills Katie?
Wow! This book really impressed me with it's delivery. The plot was well laid out and the progress of the story was the build up of a lifetime. Never was there a moment of boredom or lax in the story lay out. This book flowed flawlessly. With amazing characters , the world where the paranormal is out in the open and the danger is real, this story told a story of love and danger.
The author really delivered on this story. Being a new series it is off to a great start. I can't wait to see how the series progresses. This story has it all: Strange and Unusual Characters, Love, Danger, Lies and Deceit. A wonderful mix of feelings bringing its readers the edge, with nail biting suspense.
I would not classify this book as straight up romance, but more like a thriller. The intensity of the serial killer is unlike any I have read yet. An original story that is sure to catch your interest. Bravo Bravo! Excellent read!
