Awaited: Nonfictional Delusion

Rate this book
What if, by going to Wasteland Weekend, you really could enter another universe? Too implausible to be an autobiography. Too real to be fiction. It's much more than just a story about Wasteland Weekend and Uranium Springs. It's a missing instruction manual for life. This book will help you make friends. This book will help you make money. This book might even save your life. Two years in the making, this tiny, 143-page book has been meticulously engineered to evoke a sense of hope during the apocalypse. It will inspire you to change your life and change the world. Anarchy, attachment, cars, economics, entrepreneurship, entropy, ethics, grief, guilt, guns, kindness, self-reliance, Seventies nostalgia, and stoicism. This is the You Are Awaited story.

I read this in hard copy. It's a light little book but tells a complete story. It traverses the world from the Mad Max post-apocalyptic festival called Wasteland Weekend to the original movie setting of Australia. It follows two different characters whose lives overlap and intermingle. One is in the post-apocalypse for real why the other just plays at being there. If you're a Mad Max or post-apocalypse fan then have a read. It'll open those worlds to you. It adds in car racing as an added bonus.
