A single night changes everything.

I go from town to town, never staying in one place for long. I’m always chasing the next deal, the next adrenaline rush and thriving in the great outdoors.

Until one fateful trip, one chance encounter. When I meet her. . . my beautiful Rose.

It was only supposed to be one night. No strings attached. Our chemistry was off the charts and we didn’t fight it.

But ever since then, she's all I think about. Replaying the perfect night over and over and thinking about what could've been.

Now I'm back in her town, and it could be my one chance to claim what should have been mine forever and not for just one night.

I've got it all figured out. But as soon as I see her, I come to a screeching halt. What's with the anger in her eyes? And whose baby is she carrying?

Am I too late to make her mine?

I haven’t read many ‘secret baby’ romance novels, but of the ones I have, I can honestly say that Baby Daddy is one of my all-time favorites. It was so sweet and romantic and what it lacked in drama, it more than made up for it in eroticism. I won’t lie… that steam factor really turned up the heat ;)

One night, Rose decides to let loose for once in her life. She’s been so focused on work and the ticking of her biological clock, that she hasn’t had any fun. She goes to a bar and meets a sexy, tall, dark and handsome stranger. They immediately hit it off. I mean, their chemistry was off-the-charts hot! They both couldn’t believe their luck that they could find such perfection in a moment. Unfortunately, this amazing encounter could only be what it was because Nic was from out of town. He leaves, she ends up pregnant, and it seemed like that was that. But then Nic comes back to town on business and that’s where the real story starts.

It was a fairytale in the making. Nic was willing to move heaven and Earth to make both of their dreams of forever come true. It was magical to watch them fall in love with each other and it seems like the love was there from the start. The author sweetly captured the uniqueness and the strength of their bond. Nic had to still travel a lot for work, but these two were still able to maintain their relationship and make it into something special. I’m a huge fan of Lauren Landish. With this story she injected humor and sexiness throughout the romance and it hit all the right notes with me.

Lauren Landish reminds me A Room With A View's Eleanor Lavish. Such an author's name.

DNF.

It went from Rom-Com to sexapoloosa in 2.5 seconds.

The blurb is somewhat misleading, and I don't think the guy had ANY tattoos.

Baby Daddy is my favorite Irresistible Bachelors novel so far. I loved it! I love a romance with an unexpected pregnancy and this one was done very good. I already liked Rose in Motorhead, but I adored her in this book. She will find her true love in Nic. I loved Nic and Rose together. They belong together.

Rose always dreamed of owning her own shop. She fulfilled that dream by opening Mountain Rose. She works very hard in her clothing shop and she’s so happy that it’s a success. Now, she thinks it’s time to fulfill another dream: having a baby. Rose hasn’t been very lucky in love, so she decides to become a single mom.

One night, Rose meets Nic. Rose and Nic connect easily and they have a one night stand. Nic needs to leave town the next day for his job. A while later, Rose discovers she’s pregnant from Nic. She can’t believe it, but she’s over the moon. She tries to contact Nic, but she gets no response. Rose decides to forget Nic and raise their child all on her own.

A few months later, Nic returns back to the town where Rose lives and he can’t wait to see Rose again. He hasn’t forgotten her. Nic can’t believe that Rose is pregnant with their baby, but he’s determined to be there for their child and to convince Rose to give him a chance.

I adored Rose and Nic. Both of them are kind, caring, passionate and determined. They work very hard and want to be successful, so they understand each other when they need to work. I really liked the progress of Rose and Nic’s relationship. The author never rushed anything between them. There was trust between them before they became a couple.

It was kind of boring, there was no real story behind, but a lot of sex, which also became boring. I couldn't connect with the MCs and with the whole story. Next, please!

Rose is a successful business owner. Mountain Rose is the name of her boutique and she's living her dream...well part of her dream. The rest of her life hasn't fallen into place yet, but it will. Her business has taken up most of her time, if not all. Rose's biological clock is ticking so loud, it often keeps her up at night. With the help of her best friend Brad, Rose has decided to do something about it. They begin to research alternative ways of getting pregnant. Feeling like she's ready to proceed with her plan, Rose decides to dress up and go out. Soon, if everything goes according to plan, she will be too busy with a baby to have a fun night out. Rose heads to the one spot guaranteed to have hot, available men and that's where she meets Nic. Nic is the VP of Sales for ADRENALIN sports, and he's gorgeous. They begin talking and the attraction is instant. That attraction quickly turns into hot, sweaty sex and, too soon, back to their separate lives.
Months later, Nic has been having trouble keeping his mind on work; it's been months since he met Rose, but she's all he thinks about. He wishes he could have had more time with her. When they finally meet up again, Nic's excitement turns into confusion. Rose is not happy he's back in town and from the looks of her growing belly, she's had no trouble moving on and forgetting him. Too bad it hasn't been that easy for Nic. Nic decides he wants Rose in his life, baby and all, especially when he learns the truth about her pregnancy. While the time they spend together is great, it's the time apart that has them doubting if they will work. Rose has a home and business that keeps her tethered to Great Falls. Nic has a very demanding job. He is VP of Sales which has him constantly traveling for work. They soon realize that distance and time spent apart is not a good way to start their happily ever after.

First of all, the holidays have been way too busy for me, but when I saw that this book was ROSE'S BOOK...MCKAYLA AND BRAD'S ROSE ! OH MY GOD ! I stopped everything and started reading.
I WAS HOOKED FROM THE START ! INTOXICATING ATTRACTION WITH INTENSE, SMOKING HOT SEX ! ! ! AWESOME READ WITH WELL WRITTEN, COMPLEX CHARACTERS ! A DEFINITE ONE-CLICK !

It was exactly what I was looking for, until it wasn't. I didn't hate it, didn't love it. At times I was really into the story, like when he finds out about Roses' secret and wants to know if it's his, and others I wasn't into it at all, like the 20th long sexy scene. I love me a little steam, but too much it just gets boring.

This book was way too slow for me. I kept skipping pages and when I have to skip three and a half chapters to get to anything intersting in the story, I started getting very impatient.
From what I read, this book was so BORING and lacking in character and bland.

When Rose and Nicolas have a one night stand, they expect to not see each other again. Rose though ends up pregnant with Nicolas' baby and after trying to contact him assumes he wants nothing to do with her or the baby and is planning on raising the baby by herself. So when Nicolas shows up when she is five months pregnant Rose is shocked.
I love how independent and take-charge Rose was in this book. I thought she was really brave and confident and I loved her chemistry with Nic who was a real sweetheart throughout pregnancy. He tried so hard to be there for her despite having to travel for his job and really loved her and the baby they were having together.

Rose and Nic.

She’s a shop owner and he’s a sports gear salesman who travels all the time for his work.

She decides she want to have a baby and was going to get a sperm donor but her one night stand solves that problem. He doesn’t see her for 5 months but thinks of her constantly. When he is sent back to her town for work he immediately bumps into her and is shocked about the baby bump. He has a hard time adjusting at first to the news but realizes that Rose is his future. Lactation scene…

Hea - baby girl and forest wedding

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Another great read in the Irresistible Bachelors series by Lauren Landish. I was happy to see that Rose was given her own story and it was such a good one. Rose is a woman who owns her own business in Great Falls and has become a close friend of Brad's who we meet most recently in Motorhead, McKayla and Evan's story. She is at a turning point in her life. Business is going well and she is thinking about her next step. She has always wanted a family and finds it hard to meet the right man. She has decided to have a child on her own. While out one night she meets Nic a man who has come to her town on business. There is no denying the instant connection the two have. They spend the night together and Nic realizes Rose is different and special. However, he needs to leave and go to his next location for work wondering if he will ever see Rose again. Rose finds out she has been left something wonderful by Nic and also wonders if she will see him again. She tries to reach out to Nic but unfortunate circumstances happen and Nic never gets her message. Rose is a bit heartbroken but decides she will be okay. Fast forward a little bit and Nic finds himself back at Great Falls. He finds Rose and though there is a some miscommunication and misunderstanding the two are able to resolve it. Nic and Rose admit their feels for one another and make plans to be a family. I absolutely loved this story and the HEA was great! Wondering who will be the next to fall in love with an irresistible bachelor? Ana? Devan?

Rose was an "all work, no play" kind of woman so when she wanted to have a baby before it was too late, she decided to use a sperm donor. To celebrate her decision she went to a bar where she met Nic. Their chemistry was incredible. Even though neither of them was big on one-night-stands they didn't want to pass up the chance to be with someone so perfect. Unfortunately, Nic's job kept him moving from town to town so it wasn't possible for them to have more.

I loved that these two couldn't stop thinking about each other. Nic thought Rose was wonderful and wanted to get back to her. But Rose's feelings were a different story. While Rose wanted to see Nic again at first, she didn't think much of him after he didn't return her call when she wanted to tell him she was pregnant. Nic couldn't win. He finally got back in town to find Rose really angry at him. Why?

I loved this story! The characters were terrific and I especially liked the secondary characters, Auntie Brad and Devon. So if I liked it so much, why did I only give it 3 stars? I had 2 issues with this book. I didn't think the explicit sex was necessary. A story can be steamy without making you feel like you're in bed with them. Also, on Goodreads, the man on the cover is a tough-looking guy covered in tattoos. Nothing like the man described in the book. The man on the audiobook cover is much better.

Baby Daddy by Lauren Landish is a full-length, standalone romance novel.
Nic is a floater, a nomad, he has no roots and craves his freedom more than anything. ´til he meets Rose on one of his business trips. They spend the night, with consequences.
He can´t get her out of his head and when he meets her again months later, he expects a friendly welcome. Ha as if. Rose had plans, big ones. But the night with Nic crossed these plans out. And then he stands before her. She´s furious and the poor sap doesn´t understand what happens.
Baby Daddy is a beautiful story, beautifully thought out and beautifully told. I love the writing, the story and the characters. I give 5 stars and say thank you, Lauren Landish !

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage? Nah, not this time.

I loved Rose in the last story and couldn't wait to read her love story. Well, it started as her one night stand story. These two did things all kinds of backwards. They are both so sweet though. Check out this sweet line from Nic-

"You're busy growing our baby. The least I can do is feed you, tell you you're pretty, and carry you home."

Swoon.
So anyways I am in love with this series and Brad makes a few appearances, loving how protective her is over the baby. He needs one!

Baby Daddy by Lauren Landish a five star-read you will want to call Daddy. This is a standalone read but part of the irresistible Batchelors series they can all be read separately together. This one may just be my favourite, there was something about Nic he really made my heart flutter. I also loved Rose, she made me smile when she popped up in previous books but I was smiling like a loon at her in this book!! Well done Lauren on another five-star read.

Getting what you wanted without paying

Lauren Landish is a terrific new author that I just 'discovered' this year but the more that I read by her, the more I look forward to her next book. This is probably the sweetest story yet that I've read by her and it was simply lovely. The story flowed smoothly and we meet up again with Brad whom we met in Motorhead. If you haven't read any of her books before, please don't worry as these can all be read as standalones. if you can though, I'd get the set and simply read one after the other as they are so entertaining and well written with believable storylines and terrific 3-dimensional characters. We meet Rose who is running her own successful business and is ready to start the next stage in her life of becoming a mum as her biological clock is ticking as she has no boyfriend. her friend Brad is going to help her choose a sperm donor but in the meantime she's going to get all dressed up and go to the one bar in town where gorgeous hunky men hang out. It is there that she meets Nic who is VP where he works in sales and so he does a lot of travelling. They have an instant attraction and talk all night but passion takes over and they spend one very HOT and steamy night together that they will both remember for the rest of their lives. he reluctantly has to leave the next day due to work but wants to see her again. As soon as he leaves she misses him and he misses her and he can't keep his mind on his work longing to be with her. Time moves along and they don't get to see each other to both their disappointments but then Rose realises something that will change her life forever. When Nic goes out of his way to return and spend time with Rose she is shocked! Will she tell him who is the father of her child? he doesn't care, as all he wants is her and he will do anything to make her his. So romantic in many ways and beautifully penned by Lauren. This is one sweet book that I will be wanting to re-read as its so good. I'm now looking forward to her next book and I wonder who will be the next to find love!! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. I got this on KU where you will see excerpts of Motorhead, Off Limits and Mr Fixit and a preview of her next book.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

This was not what I was expecting from this book. I was thinking it was going to go in a different direction. I thought it was going to be one of those stories where the baby is kept from the father because mother doesn’t want to burden him for help. I was pleasantly surprised with the way it wound up going instead. I’ve seen the reviews for this story saying how nothing happens in the book, which is true. Normally I would be right there with them. I need something to happen or else to me, the story doesn’t go anywhere. However, Rose and Nicolas’ conversations, loving moments and intimacy make up for nothing happening. I’ve read books where the hero and heroine only are driven by lust and getting off with each other. I’ve experienced this first hand in Lauren’s other series “Bad Boys Next Door” which I will still finish because I want to see where they go and to me that was too much sex and not enough emotion. That was only the first book though. This one though, having no drama and a supportive hero made up for an unexciting book. The close friendship and connections both Rose and Nicolas experience was a joy to read for me. Sure, Rose was a bit clingy but she had this idea in her head about a happily every after and it was the premise of what makes her who she is, which was a positive, driven person who wasn’t afraid of love and all that comes with it. She was waiting for it and was being patient. You can even say Nicolas was the same way. He hadn’t gone through any trauma that would turn him off from love or finding the “one” so when it happens he let it and allowed himself to feel all the emotions and connections that went with it. He didn’t shy away from his feelings and he let them be known to, not only to me as the reader but also to Rose. He was all in from the beginning and we love a man who goes there with no questions asked. This gets a 5 just for all the feels and good vibes, along with the connection that you feel between Rose and Nicolas. If this isn’t expressed, then why are we even reading romance? I’m approaching the last book in the series and to find that it will be about Ana is interesting, especially since I thought it would be about Devon. I’ll take it though, I want to learn more about her and her story.

3.5 stars 🌟

She was ready to start a family on her own but a celebratory one night encounter yielded the same results—naturally—if you catch my drift

This has got to be the most practical and natural story line with this trope that I’ve read so far? (I don’t actually know. I forget details right after I read them so I’m just going off of vibes here lol). I really liked how their relationship progressed. There was a bit of miscommunication but these two handled it like champs (i.e., mature adults). I loved how Nic didn’t just drop everything to be with Amelia. Rose was also very understanding of the situation. At the end of the day Nic made it work. He travels a lot for his work but he also wanted to be there for his family. He compromised—as he should. Even though he was nervous of the implications when providing for his family.

On that note, I also really liked that bit of inner monologue when he was contemplating how many kids Rose would want. He said 2 or 3 kids would be nice but nothing more than that bc he really wants to be able to provide for them above basic necessities. Idk I just thought the whole thinking process and how he was so nervous the entire time was so hot? 😭 We want a man who provides and makes sure his family is comfortable!!!

Which is also funny bc it wasn’t even mentioned how much the ring he bought Rose cost for. It was implied it was dang expensive tho lol. He did say he’s smart with his expenses and have a pretty cushy savings. Which I also thought was hot 😂

Also didn’t expect to dump this on here but I really do love reading anything involving pregnancies, babies and children in general on my romance books even though I personally won’t be having them myself. It just heals my inner child 🥹 It makes me so happy to see these precious kids get taken care of and be so loved by their parents especially their dad. I won’t get enough of this trope!!!

Baby Daddy. What a story. Rose is a successful store owner but has reached a point in her life where she needs more. Deciding to have a child is the next step in her life and goes out to celebrate. Nicholas is a salesman for outdoor adventure supplies and ends up at the same bar as Rose. Surprise! Rose gets her baby the old fashioned way. But what about Nic? Should she tell him? Would he want to be involved? Nic can't get Rose out of his mind and when he returns, he is surprised to see her pregnant. Is he ready for commitment? Can he give up the life he loves? Is she the one? This story is one that will enrapture you from the start. Lauren Landish creates such well developed characters, it's like you know them and are experiencing all the heat, passion and emotional turmoil right along with Rose and Nic. I could sympathize with both sides, feeling the chemistry yet concerned if this relationship could possibly work. Landish accurately portrays all the the pregnancy turmoil of emotions and doctor visits letting my own memories help lead the story.Throw in Trey and Brad with their caring and humor and it's a listen you don't want to miss!

Seasoned narrators Brittany Pressley and Neslon Hobbs bring out the best in the story. Pressley gives a wonderful portrayal of Rose. She is strong, yet vulnerable and gives us the feelings of a woman that will get through anything. Hobbs is perfect as Nic. He has emotion in his voice that will make you love him from the very start. Add the baby in, and you can sense his masculinity with that hint of vulnerability making you fall for Nic. It's a perfect team for this story.

An amazing read by Lauren Landish about a travelling VP in sales, Nic, and the woman, Rose, he meets on one of his travels. They have one amazing night together & in the morning Rose is gone. Months later Rose finds out she is pregnant & tries to get a hold of Nic, leaving a message for him. More months pass and he finally returns to the small town and decides to look up Rose, he’s surprised when he sees she’s pregnant but still wants to talk with her because he doesn’t understand why she’s being so hostile to him. Nic admits that since their last encounter he hasn’t stopped thinking of her but now she’s pregnant and he’s a traveller...will they work it out ?
What an amazing read with some steamy spine tingling scenes but what I loved loved loved about this read is that Nic was not a man wh***, he doesn't do one night stands until Rose and wasn’t with anyone else after...so so refreshing. Rose was amazing as well, strong, independent, kind and she took Nic for his word and didn’t pressure him allowing him to make his own choices.
The story had me right from the beginning to the end that flowed beautifully with a man that is definitely book boyfriend material making me sigh and swoon throughout the read. A story with a few laughs with the antics of her friends, a story that had me smiling but also a few tears in my eyes at times, a story that was to me a true romance about two people finding their HEA and making it work.
