Two men climb a mountain. One a renowned climbing 'God', the other a reformed alcoholic working for a special forces team.
Our climbing export however gradually becomes psychotic, takes people on climbs on the toughest climbs and depending on his impression of any individual decides whether they climb with him or die during the climb!
Very well written narrative with well developed characters keeps you glued to the book not wanting to lay it down for a second.
This is the first book I have read in the series as I received it free in another author's giveaway but I am hooked on the author now so I guess I'll be buying the rest of the series if this is the standard of the series.
Thank you Mr Gomes for your hard work and entertainment.

This was a great action adventure book. I overlooked the grammar and proofreading as I got into the story. Mike is tasked with finding out if a legend in the climbing world is killing off other climbers! Mike has a month to get into shape. I never knew the thrill climbers get not to mention the sheer physical nature of it. Mike really preserved alone in the mountain with no food for 2 days. I really enjoyed this book!

Mike Gomes did a fabulous job on the book "Alone". His characters were very dynamic and enthralling. Even tho' I started with book 9 it feels like I didn't miss a thing. Mike seems to have a great talent for writing and not leaving you hanging because you haven't read any of his other books. Falau is the type of guy would want at my side if I was in trouble. I'm looking forward to reading the other books.
Great job.
Cheers

Michael Falau is the man at the centre of this series. There’s a recent phenomenon of rich tourists hring expert guides to get them places they probably are neither physically or technically able to go. We’ve read about the deaths on Everest. This book begins with a climb up El Capitan, a climb that claimed two lives while I visited Yosemite. Falau is about investigate one such guide.

The author refers to our hero as the big man a few times too often. He also needs a better editor.

Always wanting more and more ! This series is addictive!

Easy to read and fast paced, Mike Gomes is a genius when it comes to build suspense within an interesting character that will never leave you indifferent because, he is like us, human at heart.

Can’t wait to read the next chapters of this incredible story. You can also provide your ideas to the writer, he loves feedback directly from his fans and always reply!

Billy Thong is a mountain climbing guide that has a higher than normal rate of the climbers he takes on a mountain climb die on the mountain. Michael Falau's mission is to go on a climb and see how Billy acts. He is to try and bring Billy in for justice if he is guilt of helping climbers die on the mountain. Michael has to train and then convince Billy to take him on a climb. He has to do the climb with no backup. Mike Gomes takes you onto the climb with Michael Falau. You have to read to find out what happens.

Typos galore

The story line was good and I understood the mission. However, this is the third consecutive book from you that has way too many typos. Honestly, I just don’t get it. I understand a few typos will happen but they have grown to become so many that I truly didn’t feel like finishing this book. I am not an author nor do I know what goes on behind the scenes to write and publish a book but I recognize a pattern when I see one. And the pattern I’m seeing is unbelievable.
