I live in San Francisco, and have walked pieces of the Barbary Coast trail for years. Yesterday I finally walked the trail with my mom this guide. It was a totally different experience. What fun! We learned some great tid bits of history about San Francisco while touring the city on foot, and found hidden gems that we would have completely missed had it not been for the guide. I highly recommend this guide to anyone wanting to take a day long self guided history tour of San Francisco. Whether you live in the city or are just passing through, don't miss out on the Barbary Coast Trail, and don't walk it without this guide.
