These realistic situations were just scary as innocent young girls were lured into a vicious world they knew nothing about. Storyline suspenseful as I found myself "talking to the pages" trying to warn on what was to come. This story provoked many emotions as I could envision the scenes taking place. This is a book that all should read including teens because this is real life written on these pages. I am looking forward to reading the next part to see how this story ends

Worth the read

This was an awesome book. I can't wait until I get to read book 2. Gotta wait for it to come out first 😂😂😂. Sereniti should have listened to her besties and her parents. Tyriq needs to be put extremely deep under the jail. He is one sick individual.

This book was so good. It broke my heart because these men can get theses little girls to do anything just by telling them they loved them once they got them under their spell they take them and they life is over just so these grimy assholes can make a profit. This story was good but also broke my heart in the process. Now to read part two. Great job Lady Lissa

Great read

I loved this book.. very few errors, but it didn’t stop me from reading it. This book was definitely a must read. I enjoyed this book because quite often we find ourself reading about how teenage girls get lured into the world of trafficking through the internet. Patiently waiting for Part 2. I don’t want to give too much of the story away.

Must Read

All young, hormonal, love struck teenaged girls need to read this book! Lord, this was so plausible and realistic that I finished it in hours. There were grammatical errors however I was so engrossed in the story that I could ignore most of them. I couldn't fathom Sereniti being captured after the talk her mother had with her and her naming Tyriq. I understand she was worried about getting in trouble but d@mn, her mother gave her evidence that he wasn't a good guy. Brianna has my sympathy as she fought hard and paid dearly for her freedom, yet her stance on not talking at all bothers me because she knows there are more girls in danger! I'm confused about her being pregnant and miscarrying when Tyriq raped her wearing a condom the day before her daring escape, but ok! I'm reading part 2 in the hopes of learning more about Tori and her outcome with the baby. Good read.

WOW...UNBELIEVABLE

An amazing book that every parent with a teenage daughter needs to read and have a serious discussion with regarding the internet and the predators lurking to get innocent, naive, and young girls. I love the fact that Lady Lissa chose to write a book that chronicles the reality of what is going on across the world on a daily basis. These girls are at an age where they are becoming interested in boys and looking for the fairytale relationship. Brianna and Tori were so caught up in the promises made to them that it nearly cost them their lives but not without traumatic experiences. They were lucky to get out but not everyone is as lucky. What will Shaniya and Sereniti endure and will they be as lucky as Brianna and Tori? Anxious to find out what's to come in part 2.

Good...great...but

I loved the book. I finished it in a couple of hours...But I had one problem with it...The character Brianna...Her parents...first it was that her parents were no longer together..then further in the book she was supposedly having dinner with both parents and then he went to take a shower..I got confused then...But further still it went back to her parents being divorced and her dad was with a younger woman who had just had a baby...I understand that the author might have gotten sidetracked but surely a proofreader should've picked up on that? Being a stickler for detail is key and I only brought it up as a corrective measure...I still gave it 5 stars though because aside from that part, I loved the story so much that I couldn't put it down and it has me anxious to find out what book 2 has in store for me ..

Tyriq needs to be punch 🤛 for being an butt hole

Sereniti is a gullible just like most teenagers who thinks they know all the answers to this society we live in it’s sad that parents nowadays don’t check their kids phones tablets computers or devices to see what their child is doing to avoid dangerous like Tyriq it’s sad that he is a grown men preying on the lives of innocent girls who just wants love and attention because we all go through a phase where we feel like no one doesn’t care for us especially our patents because they are too strict on us but it’s for our own goods it’s unfortunate that Sereniti has to pay the price for putting her trust into someone like Tyriq hopefully her dad can find her and reduce her and the other girls before it’s too late

Awesome read! Sex trafficking is a major issue in the world. Sereniti received a computer for her birthday and was excited. Sereniti was her parent’s miracle child, he mom had several miscarriages. Sereniti began to chat online with a young man named Tyriq. Sereniti falls in love with Tyriq, due to the things he says in his chat.
Tyriq is a smart and charming young man who searches the internet for young girls. He tells these young ladies the things they want to hear; she’s beautiful, and he loves them. Tyriq then tell the young ladies they need to see each other in person. Tyriq picks them up from their house and takes them to his uncle, to be sold to the highest bidder. Sereniti decides to breakup with Tyriq, but he tells her she must do it in person. He picks her up at her house and delivers her to his uncle’s house. Awesome read. On to part 2

Wow!!! This book had me yelling at Serenity through the pages. It was so thrilling to read due to the realistic storyline. So much so, I had to ensure it was based on a true story. I have a 13 year old daughter so this was too close to home for me. It talks about the dangers of peer pressure, internet, and too much trust. I felt badly for the young perpetrator in the story, as well as the girls. It reminds of how broken, hurt, unloved children, can lose their way. Also, how well rounded, whole, loved children can lose theirs. Awesome read! I quickly downloaded the second one because I need to know how this story ended as well. Very quick reset, not to be confused with light read. There were so many emotion unpacked while reading this.

Not My Child...

That is definitely what most parents would say when their child comes up missing, not my child. This is my first read by Lady Lissa and she did a phenomenal job shedding light on an ongoing problem today - human trafficking.

Everyday I log into social media or turn on the news I hear of another child missing. These children are preyed on and lured away from their families. It is heartbreaking.

Reading this book definitely had me having a real conversation with my soon to be 13-year old. The sad reality is, as parents, we never really know for sure that they won’t be fooled by a predator. And I certainly don’t want to be a parent saying - NOT MY CHILD!

Very Emotional Book

It took me awhile to read this book. Because it made me sad, angry and had me very upset. Because this is happening every day somewhere. And to matter how much you talk to your daughter’s there is always some slick talker out there that can easily get to them. I’m so ready for all of them to get exactly what is coming to them. Especially Tyriq. With his dog ass. Nobody deserves that

Not my child

This is a good topic for young naive teenage girls! I just knew Sereniti dad was going to rescue her. Why didn’t she let Tyriq come into the house? Her dad would’ve killed him! Poor Brianna I’m glad she’s alive and Tori too! But that uncle need to go to jail. I hope somebody come to their rescue in the next book. Human trafficking is real parents talk to your children especially the girls!

Playing on a person’s weakness

This book needs to be read by everyone. I don’t have children of my own yet but hope to one day have some and reading this book shed some light on some of the dangers that would could occur if one is not careful. I feel so bad for Sereniti and all the other young girls that have to suffer due to trusting someone they don’t know. I am about to dive right into part two.

REALISTICALLY ENTERTAINING !

I love the title, of this book and it fits the content beautifully. With all the human trafficking going on in today's society. This book is a must read, for any impressionable preteen/young adult who is showing risky behavior on any social media sites. Not only was this book realistic, it was informative and I highly recommend it . I'm excited to see what happens in part 2. Yes no doubt about it this is a 5 star read. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great read!!

Its insane how a man can consist to luring and taking advantage of young girls! Human trafficking is real! Being an Chicago Native Im truly grateful God's angels were protecting my young naive self and saved sheltering parents that raised me in the church. Didn't know how to appreciate it at that age until I read or see it on the news. My God continue to bless your ministry!

Lady Lissa did a great job with this story. The storyline is very realistic. From the first page, my attention was captured. The scenario these girls placed themselves in were too real to be truth. Tyriq and Ryan are low down, dirty and sick baatards that should've been under the prison. Everything that is online is not golden. Also, young ladies (and young men as well) had better act their age instead of trying to be grown.

These girls gonna learn today.

All I can say is wow. Once again Lady Lissa, delivers a whopping punch in the form of words. I keep saying these young girls want to be grown, can't tell them nothing. This is a definite must read for men, women and most of all girls. I highly recommend this book to everyone who reads and even those who don't.

Wake Up Call

Too sad. Too real. Technology can be a dangerous thing, and even when we try to teach and warn our children about the dangers lurking in cyberspace, some are bound to venture anyway. This book needs to be read by parents and teens everywhere; used as a learning tool. What a wake up call to be overly protective of what we do online. And not to be so trusting....

Sex trafficking is very much real

This book is a very touchy but real subject. Parents talk to your kids about the dangers of the internet. As their parent make sure you monitor what they do on the internet. If needed you and your child read this book together. These girls in this book thought it was just harmless conversation.

Dark contemporary

This book is about a horrific ongoing problem in the world. Parents have become placid in dealing with their children and the internet. Our youth are preyed upon every single hour of the day. I recommend each of you read this and if you can let your teenager read it too. I cried ugly tears for Brianna and Tory.

Young ladies, be aware!

I think this is a good book for today's young girls . Hell some older woman too. The internet is a beast the will swallow a young girl whole. This book really touches base on a lot of real life situations. Sex trafficking is real and getting worse by the day!! Great read. Onto part 2!
