I loved this book. All in this series, actually! Hummingbird Hallow has an effect on more than just the characters, but the reader, too! I love how these Teela and Booth came in with one mindset that God totally flipped around. It makes one think about the mindsets we can be holding on to! If Inn the Hallow were a real-life place, I’d book a stay there in a heartbeat. Exquisite, beautiful....the word “magical” was shooed away one this book, but God’s full and undoubtable presence simply permeates. Lovely. All three of the Hummingbird Hallow books are just those words describe. I can’t wait to go find more books by this author!
I loved the lessons I learned from this book: we do not deserve God’s gifts, they are given freely, as a present to His beloved children. Also, as children of God, we should not decide what is best for our life or which teachings our past has for us, it is up to God to let us know in His time. All we really need is God, prayers to hear Him, and obedience to follow what He planned all along. This touching story shows us the wrong lessons one can learn and how great God’s gifts are when we have the courage to let Him lead us. When you read this book, be open and accept the teachings God has for us. I wish you to be blessed with it as much as I was.
Well. I got “Holy Spirit shivers”less than a chapter into this book. Probably the best omen a book could have! Not only were these characters amazing - Kinsey is the sweetest’ - but i enjoyed learning new things in this book. Who knew lions sang?!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I hate to say goodbye to Hummingbird Hollow. I have enjoyed this series so much. So our friends in this last book learned how, by God’s grace, to overcome very strong fears. They were able to heal and even find love. Very well done!
