Will and Charlie have returned to Will’s werewolf clan after discovering that Charlie is pregnant. Much confusion surrounds them as to how this could have happened, although Will seems to know more than Charlie.

They return to the werewolves, hoping for some answers, and for a reconciliation between Will and the parents who exiled him.

But just as they begin to build bridges a ghost from Will’s past shows up, loud and brash, and challenge’s Will’s claim to his destiny.

Will is forced to question what it means to be not only a werewolf but a father too, and which side of him needs him most. He struggles with the balance inside his head. The fear of losing half of him hunts him.

Charlie, meanwhile, is faced with the prospect of carrying a child in a body that was never really designed for it. It’s what he’s always wanted, but will he find that it’s not quite what he expected?

‘You’re lucky to have two parents who will give you all the love in the world’

Author Apollo Surge now has six books available on Amazon – MATING SEASON, THE LAST OMEGA three book series, THE RUNAWAY OMEGA, and now BLOODLINES. Paranormal gay romances have become a popular genre and Apollo fits into this category of writers well. In this novel the story is centered on wolf shifters and the differences between alpha and omega beings – and werewolves.

We meet omega Charlie and alpha Will and as Apollo offers, ‘Will and Charlie have returned to Will’s werewolf clan after discovering that Charlie is pregnant. It’s what he’s always wanted, but will he find that it’s not quite what he expected?’ And from this point the book becomes a font of erotica and fantasy.

A sample of Apollo’s writing assures the reader of the quality of the book – ‘When he had first met Will, Charlie had been on a date with another man, Ian. Will had been in a bad way, having just been exiled from home, by the very same people that Charlie was sitting with now [Delilah and Thomas]. Will had sensed something in Charlie, and threatened him to stay away from Ian. Charlie hadn’t paid much attention at the time, figuring that Will was just another sad soul lost in the abyss of the bottle, slipping through the cracks of the world, but something about the man lingered. After Will got himself together he tracked Charlie down, and the two of them went on a date. Torn between the two men, Charlie didn’t know what to do. After much wrangling, he ended up choosing Will, and this was after he’d learned Will’s astonishing secret: that he was a werewolf.’

Apollo’s gift of prose serves the story well: the descriptive and atmospheric rendering of the locale and the interplay of the wolf shifters make the story ring. The erotica is presented in the light of shifting and that makes it more unique and oddly more realistic. This is a fine book, and it places before the public a promise of an impressive new artist.

It’s continuation of Exiled Dreams and pick up right after first book. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait for more. I liked how Will was struggling with his 2 sides and how Charlie tried to support him even though he didn’t know how it is for werewolves. The only problem for me is that it was little bit too short.

Bloodlines is an excellent read with ShRopsHire who falls in love with a mortal. The human is able to conceive and bare a child for the wolf. The way the story ended I'm hoping the author has many more stories for us as this M/M Family grows and has more children.
