Saint: He calls me Daddy but he's 13 years older than me. At 36 years old, I've built my own multi-million-dollar company from scratch but my life still feels empty. When I find out my father’s best friend, Easton, is going through some major life problems, I want to help him in an unconventional way. But for this to work, Easton has to be receptive to being my Boy. As his Daddy, I'll protect him at all costs and spank him when he needs discipline. This arrangement is supposed to be no-strings-attached because I don't do commitment. So when I start falling for my father's best friend, do I trust my gut and run...or do I listen to my heart and stay?
Easton: He's my best friend's son and he wants me to call him Daddy. At 49 years old, a bad investment leads to financial ruin and my wife divorcing me. When I open up to my best friend's son about what's going on in my life, he wants to use BDSM to help me. I used to take care of Saint when he was younger but he wants to reverse the roles. I don't know if I feel comfortable calling anyone Daddy--especially someone younger than me. I've been best friends with Saint's father for over twenty years. If he finds out what his son and I are doing behind closed doors, things will never be the same...
Warning: SAINT contains explicit sexual content not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
The Beckford Brothers series focuses on four brothers who go on their own journeys to find love. Each novel can be read on its own or as part of the series.
DNF 53% Nope. I can’t read anymore. The writing is awkward. The chemistry is non-existent. And the first time they have sex it was skirting around non-con and about as far from sexy as it gets. I love me some Daddy kink but this one isn’t for me.
I really wanted to like this book, and I did, up until the characters started their age play. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve never read a book where we get to see the actual introduction into age play or if the author just didn’t know what they were talking about but I had to stop there. I recommend trying another book by this author
Candice Blake's Saint, the fourth book in the Beckford Brothers series, is a fun Daddy kink romance. That said, I had some problems with the storyline. I'll discuss those towards the end.
In addition to Daddy kink and some age play, the younger Saint is the Daddy, and his little is his father's best friend. Oh, hell yes! Easton's newly divorced, his ex is a bitch, and Saint just happens to be the man who can help him. I thoroughly enjoy that the younger Saint is the one to introduce Easton to BDSM and daddy play. The older man easily falls into the need to be protected, lead, and taken care of. And damn, all his first time moments are entertaining.
The fact that Easton has long been friends with Saint's father, and has been a part of his life forever, doesn't stop these two. It just adds to the charm of their relationship.
While I'll be sharing some critiques soon, I need to say that in general I love the author's writing. I enjoy the fast pace, the overall storylines, and this wonderful world of the Beckford Brothers. I really do, which makes rating these books difficult for me. I devour them quickly and would absolutely love them if some things were tweaked.
Now, for my complaints, of which I have several.
Told in alternating first person pov, we get a great look into the feelings and emotions of both men. But, I have to say I definitely don't enjoy the author's repeated use of "he said." There are times it made me want to stop reading. But, the story is too delightful to stop.
I struggled with the Little play, as Easton choose to be a tween. That definitely disturbs me. I completely prefer when the little is a toddler. Choosing to be 13 just seemed weird.
I wanted to slap Easton's ex wife, who's a controlling bitch. I also found her part in the story to be wrapped up too quickly. Her appearance didn't make much sense to me, as it only makes sense if there was more of her. I also found the ending to be rushed; wrapped up way too easily. There needed to be a little more angst in that chapter.
Overall, Saint is a fun read, despite my few problems with the story and writing. It's a beautiful tale of finding someone who makes you feel safe. The whole Beckford Brothers series is a lot of fun.
*3.5* I've enjoyed this series overall and was looking forward to reading the fourth installment, Saint. We haven't really heard from him in the previous books and finally get to know the oldest Beckford brother. He's thoughtful, interesting and just as charming as his brothers and it's wonderful reading them spending time together again. His interest in Easton develops as they spend time together and learn more about each other on a more even keel as they are both now adults. Easton has had a rough ride lately with poor investment and separating from his wife. The bright spot in his life is his best friend and their family. He's always been there for the four sons throughout most of their lives and to now seen them grown is amazing but completely unexpected is to Saint with it being his best friend's son and a man, having never been attracted to one before. Their exploration and budding relationship is nice to read as it gives purpose to them both as well as a bit of stability in at least one area of their lives. I could definitely sense something between them as I was reading. One part I really didn't like was considering bottoming was brand new for one character, there was 0 prep which considering the "scene" was caring and making it the best possible, didn't fit for me. Everything was wrapped up quite quick within the last few chapters, to me feeling a bit rushed though all was settled and HEAs were ensured. Those who have loved this series should definitely read Saint's story and it can be read as a stand alone story, a healthy dose of daddy kink and age gap to spice things up! I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
This is one of my favorite tropes, but I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I found the writing a bit forced. Also there were a few writing mistakes, but I can read over them easily. I loved the way the family is together (I didn’t read the previous books). The way Saint and Easton got together felt forced, with the contract (that Easton apparently didn’t read before signing). And after signing it was boom! full into role play. It felt kind of awkward instead of sexy and fun. FI Saint used the word Daddy to refer to himself way too much. I also found there was minimal attraction in the beginning. I like it more when it sizzles of the pages so to speak. The first time they get together, they have full blown sex while Easton is new to the whole gay sex and he does not feel comfortable at all. Saint pushes and of course it’s the best sex ever had.... It would have made more sense if they eased into it a little bit more into it with BJ’s and frotting IMO. Also with the Daddy/boy dynamic: Easton is completely new at this but immediately says all the right things. Fortunately the attraction got better and better once the story progressed. It’s not a bad book at all but I think it would benefit from a good editor...

Saint is the fourth book in the Beckford Brothers series by author Candice Blake. I really liked his story. Saint is the more mysterious brother and I have been wanting his story for a while now. This story is part of a series but can be read alone and understood just fine. This story is written in Dual Pov. I like that I can get into both character’s head better that way with no confusion. Saint has come back home. He was living in L.A. for many years. CEO of his own tec company. He started it from nothing. Now he is the owner of a multimillion-dollar company. He is the oldest, he has always been confident and decisive. His main goal has always been to do everything in life. Easton is Saint’s dad’s best friend he has always been apart of the Beckford family’s outings and get-togethers. He is a bit of a workaholic. He is signing his divorce papers now. He is very lost at the moment and really hard on himself. I liked these two together. I loved the dynamic they establish. It works for them. really works well. I love that Saint is fearless goes after what he wants with his all. Easton needs a person like that desperately. Overall a great read. I loved this story it is a great addition to this series.
I love the premise of this story… the son and the dad's best friend.
When Saint sees Easton looking sad, he feels something for him. He wants to ensure Easton doesn't have sadness in his life and the only way he knows to help him is with a BDSM contract.
Easton is a grown man, just barely divorced from his wife and now he's calling his best friend's son 'Daddy'. It's embarrassing, but he's also proud each and every time he says the word. But how can they do this? How can they have a relationship that no one will ever understand or approve of. And what happens if feelings become part of the equation.
While things got complicated, I thought the story was well done there were a few elements that I thought could have been a bit better fleshed out in the BDSM department. The fact that the contract was never discussed, nor the rules of their scenes seemed like an oversight that should be important to both parties.
I love the relationship between the brothers and dad, though. Overall, this was entertaining.
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. I liked the idea behind the relationship. Easton is newly divorced and living at his best friends’s house. Saint is home from LA and hanging out with his brothers. He is also the son of Easton’s best friend. When his loneliness is evident to Saint, he informs Easton the therapeutic effects of daddy and boy kink in bdsm. While that right there sounds like an enjoyable little book, this one was my LEAST favorite of the series. Easton and Saint together were extremely cringe-worthy when they started to enter into their relationship (like the age Easton chooses to be is 13... eww!!! That is disgusting that there is supposed to be a sexual element to this daddy and his *13 year old boy* kink...) Another thing that weirded me out was how super close the family is. The touchy feely was too much. Other than that, the relationship was ultimately super cute.
Love the latest addition to the Beckford Brothers series, I’m assuming this is the last one and if so I hate to see it end. Saint is the oldest brother of the Beckford boys and he considered to be bisexual and he starts noticing Easton. Easton is Saint’s father best friend and he just divorced his wife after he invested his money in building that flopped. He starts noticing Saint and boy do the sparks fly between them. Saint is a daddy and Easton decides to be his boy. The book is sweet, no angst, romantic, sexy and the sexy times are hot. It’s great seeing all the Beckford boys and lovers again. The one who really stole the show is their father. He’s a wonderful father that respects and loves all his family and friends. Candice Blake did a great job with this and I’m looking forward to the next book.
Seriously saved the best till last. I can’t believe all the brothers had their stories. We need a 4.5 so we can have a joint reunion lol.
I loved this story because we finally got to see saint the final and oldest brother. He has just recently moved back wanting to reconnect with the family. Saint has only ever fooled around with men it’s never been anything serious that’s for women. That is until he reconnected with Easton.
Easton has lost everything all because of one bad decision. But when he reconnects with Saint at a family get together he can’t help but be intrigued by Saints kink for want of a better word. When fooling around becomes more a lot of people could be hurt.
Friends to lovers, age gap, daddy kink, fathers best friend all rolled into one. Excellent story and fantastic series.
I've been waiting for Saint to get his story from the beginning of this series and I was not disappointed. Saint is the oldest of the Beckford brothers and a very successful businessman, so of course it's no surprise to see him in a Daddy rile. Easton is a family friends who has known the men their entire lives and has played the role of honorary uncle. He's going through a difficult time with his divorce, so when Saint proposes they try a Daddy/boy relationship, he's intrigued. All he wants is someone to take care of him and his everyday problems. That doesn't mean there aren't problems along the way. Easton is older than Saint, he's very proud and this leads to some awkward situations. Overall, they finally understand that this type of relationship is perfect for them. I'm sad to see the end of this series, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for more from the author.
I love the father's best friend trope and enjoyed this final book in the Beckford Brothers series. It also has a little daddy kink thrown in for good measure. Easton is just coming out of a long marriage and feeling slightly adrift and Saint thinks he knows how to help him.
You know the old saying, When one door closed another door opens well that's the way it happened for Easton. But he never thought after his divorce he would fall for his best friend's son, Saint.
Just didn't work for me, I don't mind age play books, but this left wanting, plus the two guys were over cute and it drove nuts. I normally enjoy this authors books but sadly not this one. Why are there so many age play books
