Androids have become indistinguishable from humans.  The very best automatons are produced by the Automaton Syndicate.  With a price tag in excess of eighty pounds of gold, only the wealthiest of people can afford one; that is if you can find someone keen to sell.  

Calvin Glaze is a young man with big dreams, and he’s willing to do anything to turn his fantasies into reality, even if it means hustling sexy robots on worlds where it’s illegal to do so.  A single sale can net him two years’ worth of wages, but it could also land him in prison or worse.

A beautiful, female automaton plays the role of Calvin’s assistant.  Her primary purpose is to help the young salesman on his quest to move product, however, she walks a tightrope between AI directives and her near-human sentience.  When an android surpasses her human counterpart in every conceivable way, does that make her more than human or less?

Good fun

The end is obvious but the route devious. Both human and Android are engaging characters and maintain our interest.
Light reading, good fun.
