Baby Daddy University #1

Winning His Wife

Rate this book
Baby Daddy University: Power. Wealth. Babies.

You don’t come to Gradus University for the education….
You come to get knocked up by a rich, gorgeous bachelor!

Gradus University is the pinnacle of wealth and privilege.
I’m only here because a man decided to sponsor my education.
His name is Reed Wright, the gorgeous heir to an old money fortune.
And without him, I couldn’t afford a school like Gradus.

Unfortunately, there’s a dark little secret:
Gradus isn’t just about education.
It’s about landing rich, elite, wealthy men.
They tell me I’m supposed to marry him…
… and maybe let him knock me up.
But we barely know each other.
I mean, this can’t be for real, right?
Baby Daddy University can’t be serious…
Except Reed seems very intent on getting exactly what he wants.

I don’t want to play their game.
Too bad though, because these girls are playing for real.
If I want to keep my scholarship, I’d better start impressing my sponsor.
And it takes a lot to impress a man like Reed.

Maybe it isn’t so bad to give in to a filthy rich older man like Reed.
Especially when I can’t seem to keep my hands off him...

Baby Daddy University… where the rich get married and the students get knocked up.

Oh yeah! Baby Daddy University time! I can’t explain how much fun I had writing this. If you love crazy alpha love, over the top academy/university romance with a little hint of some bullying, this is the book for you. It’s steamy, funny, safe, and of course ends with a sweet HEA! Go ahead, enjoy yourself some Baby Daddy University.

I was intrigued by the title and decided to give it a go being as it's on ku. I really need to stop doing that.

Complete story, standalone. The smut was good but the plot just plain daft.

This surprised me in spite of having some plotlines I expected. Instead of Reed being over the top for his chosen girl to sponsor, he actually just wanted to do his financial obligations and walk away. I thought this story might take us through a few years but instead it wrapped up pretty quickly after Reed and Kayla meet.

While this didn’t wow me in any way, it also didn’t leave me snoring in my chair. With some drama and a bit of relationship angst, this was a decent read but I’m not sure if I’d continue on with the series.

I wanted to read this cuz the blurb looked interesting and heck ill try anything in the book world at least once lol sooo here i am.. and I'm surprised how it turned out..

Husband university or baby daddy one lol which ever it was a fast pace easy read and different..

Reed is tired of this thing at the university he doesn't wanna marry or have a baby with a brat or anyone heck he doesn't wanna do this. But if he has to he's going to pick a girl who doesn't know anything of the terms and won't fall for him or him her.. and he picks Kayla a girl who isn't rich and is clueless to what is going on. Kayla and Iris are friends and roommates and dealing with bullies, lord those bully girls they take catty to a whole new level. Kayla meets her sponsor Reed and is confused but knows something is up since Iris reaction and her always not saying anything and also Reed not saying anything. But he sticks around campus trying to not break any rules and wanting to spend time with Kayla. When Kayla finds out why Reed Sponsored her she is angry and upset!! But he explains to her she doesn't have to do anything no marriage no babies.. he would still support her in the school and expect nothing in return.. they have some more drama from other peoples. But Reed is done playing rich ppls games and he is going to protect his girl no matter what.

Reed is hot and semi tiny cold but glad he only had eyes for his girl and treated her good. I also enjoyed the Iris and Kayla friendship!! Glad they had some female friendship.. since the bullies were fked up..

There are 10 sponsors so I'm guessing 10 stories?? The guys can drop their girls anytime if they aren't happy..so far no girl has been dumped and only 2 sponsors are assholes... ill read the next book to see what happens..

No om drama & ow drama, no cheating, Secondary chara, sexy times, Drama, no virgins

Recommend- maybe

So it seems everyone is coming out with a College or High School romance story any more. BUT this one is different. B.B. brings a society that works together with the college so that these rich and high handed children can go and find underprivileged women to bring to their College so that they can use them to marry and or get them pregnant. If by the end of the four years of college, the woman can finish school without either, then she is free to leave her sponsor free and clear.

Reed does not want anything to do with this. He hates everything it stands for and hates everyone involved, including his family. So he decides to pick someone that he thinks will be as against it as he is. Kayla ends up being that girl. She has no idea what she is getting herself into other than she wants this education. Needless to say, when Kayla finds out what is going on, Kayla is not happy at all. Kayla and Reed butt heads quite a bit, and she doesn't take his crap. I loved that.

Although this is a different type of book by BB, I did enjoy it. Kayla has a mouth on her, so that was different for me.

Writing is choppy and I'd sooner read sheet music than read anything about preppy boys having illicit sponsorship programs with indigent female students.

Winning His Wife is the first book in the Baby Daddy University series. It's a well written older man/younger woman romance story with an interesting storyline and great characters. There's plenty of drama, humor, secrets, love, and of course, a happily ever after.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Entertaining and unique read. Reed is rich and powerful and is accepted in The Draft where he chooses a college girl at Gradus University to sponsor and then will marry her. He has no plans to do this but what will happen when they fall for each other. Good read with plenty of drama and lots of steam. I really liked it.

This is...something.

I was intrigued by the blurb: older men sponsoring young women to be their potential wives—kind of sleazy in a way. The sponsors are free to revoke the sponsorship at any moment; they do not own the women they have selected. Furthermore, these women are not compelled to wed their sponsors.

This is a short story of 170+ pages, and the plot was okay (I guess?). Reed sponsored Kayla only because his father was pestering him about getting married. She's a freshman, and he's in his early thirties (I think). He's not interested in getting married at all; this is all a façade, but he's willing to sponsor Kayla because he really wants her to finish her degree. Also, because he got interested in her upon seeing her picture. Anyway, they spent time together as part of the sponsorship programme, and of course, they eventually fell in love.

Overall, this was okay. Tbh, there's nothing interesting that holds my interest while reading. But since this is already a short story, what would I lose by reading it anyway? 🤷‍♀️ It's not good, not that bad either; it was just plain meh, but still okay to pass some time.

Quick Story with Fun Premise

I liked the concept of the story. It's unusual and has a ”marriage of convenience” feel without actually falling into that category. My only wish us that the story was more developed. It seemed slightly short and rushed, and while the writing was good, I would have loved to dive deeper into the characters, world, and motivations behind their story.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and I think this author is going places. I look forward to seeing more in the future.

Steam ahead!

Reed is part of a tradition. You choose a candidate and sponsored in hopes of marriage or pregnancy, or really both. Kayla is picked only because Reed sees her as being nothing like the vast majority of other women. Will Reed strike it right, or will be lose it? Read now to find out!

This was... different. The idea is pretty intriguing. I liked how Reed wasn’t about the whole thing and just wanted to help Kayla out. I wish Kayla would have stood up for herself more. She threatened it a lot but never did and I think that’s why the bullying went on. I liked their relationship though and how steamy they got together.

Snobbery, Sex and Insanity

I thoroughly enjoyed this book with its snobs, bickering college girls and old school rich guys. I love a story where the poor or middle class gets revenge on the uppity rich.

Excellent

Brilliant storyline and wonderful characters .
Loved Reed and Kayla.
What a shit Uni though. They say money talks and this story proved that.
So glad Reed and Kayla got their HEA and Felix and Nora were not so good. Karma is a beautiful thing.

Cute and steamy in all the right parts!

Loved the originality of the story. So many books are basically cookie cutters that you feel like you've read them many times before.
Definitely worth reading. I look forward to the next book!

The plot idea was different but this particular story was a little boring. The whole mean girls villain wasn’t all that believable, she was too OTT.
I couldn’t connect with either main character and was actually not at all interested in their love.
The sex though, that was good.

Fun but only ok

This was fun but I wasn't enraptured by the story, I wanted more of it and more building on Reed and Kaylas relationship.
