Who better to fake it than two people who do it for a living?
Student Josh Keating, better known in the adult film world as Angel, has a problem. His family expects to meet his boyfriend that weekend. Except he doesn't have one. When fresh-faced newbie Leo Stone offers himself up to play the part, Josh finds it impossible to turn him down.

This was such a fun, free-spirited, drama-free and sexy romance between two guys working for EagerBoyz, a British porn studio.
Damien Price, Leo Stone at EagerBoyz, has had a crush on Angel, EagerBoyz #1 attraction, for a while. He's watched all his videos, hopes to do a scene with him some day, so when the chance comes up be his (fake) boyfriend for a weekend at Angel's parents' place, he has no hesitation in making sure he's invited.
Names are swapped.
Stories are in place.
One bed, two hot guys.
A very good start to a new series by an author I'm enjoying every time I pick up one of their books.

This was an ok read for me. The book was well written with a little too much inner monologue for my taste. The story was sweet if not particularly original. I did think their comfort being porn stars was refreshing.

I loved it!
This is my first book by H.L Day, but it won't be the last. I read the book straight through and was thoroughly entertained. The characters were loveable and the sex scenes were tastefully done considering both characters work for a porn studio. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I read this book using the Kindle Unlimited program.

This novella was sweet but not too deep. I would give it 3.25 stars. It wasn't bad and it was actually fleshed out well for a shorter story but it left me not feeling completely satisfied.

4.5 stars - some hot, fast fun.
I have to be honest, I always expect this author to wow me, especially when I hear she’s diving into the fake boyfriend trope, a personal favorite. Happily, Eager for You delivered, capitalizing on this trope’s ability to generate chemistry quickly as well as injecting plenty of humor to make for an enjoyable read sure to leave a smile on reader’s faces and them eager for the next book in the series.
This author’s works boast a wide range of characters, so I was excited to see her take on porn stars as the leading characters. It made for a different sort of story and meant the fake boyfriend set-up was especially believable. I really liked the idea of Damian admiring Josh/Angel for a long while before they met because it gave weight to Damian pushing for more, and I loved the fun energy the trip back home to Josh’s parents provided. So often M/M romances have homophobic, hateful or even simply estranged families, so it’s always refreshing to see an open, loving family who is supportive. I also liked that this fake boyfriend romance took a bit of a different path than the norm. I’d definitely recommend Eager for You to fans of the fake boyfriend trope or anyone looking for a fast, fun read with a nice dose of sexy.

I did not particularly enjoy the characters nor the plot of a rookie pornstar having a crush on a veteran colleague and volunteering out of the blue (literally their first interaction) to be his pretend boyfriend for the weekend visit to his hometown and meeting the family.
There are much better stories about gay porn stars out there.

Fantasy vs reality
I loved how these characters had a porn star life and a "normal" life, so to speak. Josh doesn't seem to have a problem doing his job and then leaving....no emotional entanglements...but he wonders what it would be like for someone to want him for him, not his porn star persona. Damian totally crushes on Josh's videos and jumps at the chance to spend time with him away from the studio environment. What he doesn't expect is to find out that he enjoys Josh as himself even more than who he portrays in adult videos. Both of these characters sense the physical chemistry and decide to go with it to see what happens. There are some interesting social mishaps on the way that will keep you guessing. I really enjoyed this book and how things played out. Well done!

A fabulous read. HL Day has a gift for infusing every trope with such a sense of authenticity that her characters feel like real men, rather than MC's crafted to fill their roles. I did wonder if Angel might turn out to be the exception, having being cast in the starring role (as it were) but he proved to be every bit as believable as a person as Angel's porn star persona. It was marvellous to meet his family too...their entire trip was a treat to read. The Epilogue was akin to finding one more Malteser left in the bottom of the packet when you thought scoffed them all. Delicious.

A nice cute story all about porn stars, oh my. This was sweet and sexy but the main story was not so much porn but romance. I love fake boyfriend tales, this was another, Josh ( porn name Angel) needs a boyfriend for his weekend trip home, Damian (porn name Leo) is more than happy to oblige. Damian has a thing for Angel, he'd watched all the video's and wanted to get to know the man, this was his big chance. He was nervous as hell, scared he'd screw it up, but it was a total stranger that did that for them, then the shit hit the fan. Great story.

HL Day has created some memorable characters in Josh and Damian (aka Angel and Leo - from EagerBoyz Porn studio) and I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story. I enjoy the Fake Boyfriend trope anyway - but HL Day managed to bring an extra element of tension and hunger that made it hard to put the book down!

Cute and fluffy insta-love fake boyfriend story. Set in a very fluffy porn world, and one MC is actually a stalker... but if you don't think too hard about it and just go with the cutesy goodness it works...

I loved this. It started right in at the deep end but they were both adorable. I would've liked to have read a little more about them between the last two chapters but that's personal preference. Definitely reading more from this author

After all, he'll probably never get a real shot with Angel, so he'll just take what he can get.
Angel has always had problems with dating because of his job and he's learned the hard way it's just better to be alone because you can't always tell people's true intentions.
Poor Leo is so sweet and he truly sees Angel for himself, not his on screen persona and Angel finds himself immensely attracted to him.
Things get hot and heavy between them but then truths are revealed and suddenly both are doubting themselves and each other.
Finally, Angel takes a leap of faith when he realizes Leo is sincere.
The epilogue was a sweet, funny and sexy glimpse into the future.
I absolutely enjoyed this book and i can't wait to con getting to know the rest oof the boyz.
