Nasa and Tsukasa are off on a belated honeymoon. Cute things happen. They come home. Air-conditioned cute things happen.

There are no series harder to review than ones that do the same thing with minimal disruption to their formula. This one is practically the ur-example of this particular complaint and, so, get ready for some warmed-over takes.

This book is cute. I overuse the word cute to a degree that frankly worries me, but that is this series up and down and back and forth. It used to be wrapped up in some mystery on the nature of Tsukasa, but that’s largely devolved to her knowing long dead people.

The hot springs trip is a largely bashful affair that revolves around our titular duo being paralyzed or not-so-paralyzed over the threat of the private bath in their room. Do they act cute and say embarrassing things and clearly love one another? They do.

I think that this repetition largely works because these two get enough moments that it’s not a given that they won’t express their love or acknowledge their feelings or even share a kiss. They may be super bashful, but they are a couple and the story doesn’t neglect that.

The air conditioning section is fun as it introduces a potentially interesting new character, lets Nasa show off his ability to actually do things around the house, and showcases the dilemma of getting two people to agree on a temperature (and the potential benefits, at least in Nasa’s eyes).

Otherwise, business as usual. There’s an oddly crammed in swimsuit section that feels so strangely placed that the back of the book blurb actually comments on it, which is telling. Despite that, things don’t feel like there’s any plot, per se, just slice after slice of life.

3 stars - same old, same old. I like the series, but this is hardly the best it’s ever been. It just keeps rumbling along doing its thing and the reasonably solid level of cute makes it a good read, if unspectacular.

Another adorable volume.

This time the lovers go to the hot springs. Nasa tries to make his move, as silly as he might be, which leads to some really touching moments. Then we get a really funny chapter of them dealing with their new AC unit and learning to live with it during the night. Too hot? Too cold? The fun only begins when one partner gets hotter than the other during the night.

This is probably one of the most wholesome, fun, and easy going mangas I've ever read and just a joy to read if I want a smile on my face.

A 4.5 out of 5. 5 for pure fun enjoyment.

Nasa and Tsukasa go on a sort of honeymoon to a hot springs with a private bath in their room, but both are too shy at the beginning to bathe in front of each other. By the end of the trip, they are able to get into the same bath but only at night with the lights off. We also finally meet someone claiming to be Tsukasa's guardian, and she chides Tsukasa for not bringing Nasa around for her approval, but gives it by the end of the conversation. When they get home, they decide to get an air conditioner for their small apartment and they find relief from the hot summer days, but they can’t agree on a temperature at night, vacillating between too hot or too cold with just a few degrees adjustment.

It seems to me the author has decided to dispense with the original premise for this series and instead to just do a some what entertaining slice of life comedy that is super cute instead.

Another fun time is indeed had by all.

Nasa and Tsukasa go on a honeymoon to a hot springs resort. Nasa tries to plan the perfect day for his wife and him, but he keeps encountering this elderly woman in the resort who keeps asking him for help. Then Tsukasa appears , And a ruse is discovered, it turns out the little old lady is basically Tsukasa's grandmother! She takes them to her suite, and after a bit of advice, she challenges Nasa and Tsukasa to complete the local hot sprigs challenge course! Later, our two lovebirds bathe together in a private hot spring under the moonlight. After that, summer comes into full swing, and it's decided that Nasa and Tsukasa need to buy an air conditioner. Then, more hijinks at the bathhouse, and Nasa and his lovely wife share a good embrace, a few kisses, then more, as the night (and the volume) come to a close.

This was a strong volume. It has the MCs deepening their relationship and tackling new challenges. We meet some new characters. There are some good laughs. This continues to be a simple, heartwarming, slice of life series. I'm here for that.

These two are still so awkward. I think the air conditioning chapter was my favorite chapter, just because it's relatable (except opposite)..

While on their honeymoon, Nasa and Tsukasa run into Tsukasa's guardian Tokiko who gives them marrital advice. Nasa installs an air conditioner, and the couple tries to find the ideal temperature.
