Love don't live here for nobody
This series flowed, it was a sweet ride from hurt love joy and pain. It's been a while since I read a complete series that keeps you wanting more with each page turn. Before I express my self in any of the book I want to come straight for Dorothy, Dot. If train wreck was a person it would be Dot. If cancer had a face it would be Dot. If you smell death the face is Dot. Love don't live here for nobody is Dot, she was a waste of breath. You can't describe these characters without spoiling it for other, but I need y'all to pay attention to Kaymee and Poetry relationship as best friends if you looking for a true rider get you one like them. Monty turned out to better than I expected which proves men can change after a terrible mistake. Los, you will never see him coming but BABY he brings grown and sexy to the table. Dray should have got introduced to Dot, yes Dot the momma and you'll understand after reading this great book. Jonathan just reminds you there's 2 sides to every story then the truth. But wait until you meet Aria!! Great read and a nice balance to ghetto,thug and a social standpoint lifestyle.

Great Read
This was well worth the read and I’m glad it was recommended. It had its moments that I will admit brought me to tears. It was sad to see a mother never have any type of love for their child. That broke my heart. Kaymee went through so much in this book and it was so heartbreaking. I was glad when things started to look better for her. Los was heaven sent. I loved him. Monty had his moments when I wished I could reach through my phone and strangle him. Lol. I was glad he got his act right though. He had a great woman. Poe played no games. She was not going for the nonsense. I was so glad things ended well for some of these characters. This is definitely something I will recommend to friends and family who love to read.

Amazing !!!
Wooowww! Just wow. I hate everything Kaymee had to endure to get her happy ending but i absolutely love that she got one. She put her hurt into her studies and came out on top! I love the way Los and Monty love the girls after everything they all endured, they all deserve happiness. I love how Jonathan came in and stepped into his role as protector and confidant vs trying to be extra and make up lost time. I was hoping a better outcome came from the sit down with Dot but i'm glad that Kaymee was at the forefront her mind as she was leaving, like she knew Kaymee would hear it. Overall this series was amazing.

Editor please
The storyline itself had great potential, it just wasn't executed correctly. Firstly the timelines were not cohesive one minute it's 2011 the next it's 2018 but no one has aged. Also very repetitive like Dot hating Kaymee because Jonathan left her, we got it. Also very contradictory, how did Dot get away with shooting them, Kaymee wanted her dead but was bothered when she got hooked on drugs by Jonathan's hand instead. The writing was kind of amateurish as well. I see where the story was trying to go, so it gets a 2.5 from me. The errors though, too many, please get an editor and proof reader

What a series
This whole series was soooo good!!! Kaymee went through so much as a young women at the hands of her own mother. Then when she met Dray it started out good but then went to shit. Everything she went through was a lesson to get her to the point of where she was destined to be. I didn’t feel bad for Dot or Dray. They both got what the deserved. Poe and Monty made it through and I was so happy for them. If you’re reading this review, GO AND READ THIS SERIES. It’s worth it!!!!

The Bomb
I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this series. It was a great read and I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed every chapter including every character. My heart went out to Kamee, I’m so happy she found love. Dray was a messed up individual but I don’t think he should’ve died. Monty and Poetry was my favorite. He was a great man. This book had me laughing, crying, nervous, depressed, and happy. Thanks for sharing a great story. I will definitely be reading more of your work.

Great Read
I enjoyed every page of this well written series. From the very beginning the author is bringing together a great storyline, well developed characters, drama,secrets and lies. I couldn't put it down until I finished and definitely loved that I was able to read the whole series without having to wait. There are some interesting characters that would make a great spin-off.

Great read the story was great
I read this in two days. It was so good I couldn't put it down. They Characters were great each one was brought into the story totally and with a purpose. I even loved the end because the story was complete. I won't give away anything so I won't so anything but you will love this if you love a Goodwood story with grit. Kudos to the author. I will read all of her work. GREAT JOB!!!

That was good
I love a good hood story especially when there's so much turmoil but the main comes out on top. That was definitely the case for Kaymee poor thing was so mistreated by her mom she went through
Most of her life thinking abuse was love... not ever getting info about her dad she kept the faith that what she knew of him abandoning her was so far from the truth she stumbled upon. It made for a very touching story, thank you for a good read

A MUST READ
I slept on this book I had it on my kindle for a least 2 months, I'm so glad I decided to read it When I tell you what a ride this was The characters were well-developed And the story flowed It was an emotional story I found myself laughing With some of these characters and angry with quite a few of them I never ever give the story away you have to read it for yourself but I promise you it is definitely worth read kudos to the author job well done.

Wow anotger goid read by this author
Man this book was so good. I hated what Dray and Dot put Kaymee though but it made her a stronger person and they both got their krama. Kay is now in a happy place bc she's got a man tht truly loves her & her father is back in her life. I loved the ending bc Los was right on time and erased all of her doubts about his love for her.

Love this story
It will make you mad laugh cry break your heart make you happy fall in with the characters! This story has so much drama but ends with happiness without telling the story read this from beginning to end y’all will enjoy every minute. Never good enough
This book was amazing, Meesha gets 2 thumbs up for this one. Poetry was a real one and Kaymee knew her best friend had her back no matter what along with Monty her bro. When I say this book hit all the hurt a person can endure in life living without the love of your mother.

love shouldn’t hurt
Omg!!! This was the best series I’ve ever read! Kaymee got her Los and baby!!! Poe and Montez got it together. Dot…..well let’s just say she messed herself up by not being a mother to Kaymee. Johnathan I’m glad stepped up to the plate and did what he was supposed to. This is a great read! I recommend this!!!

This was a page Turner. I couldn't put it down. Kaymee beat all odds despite all she had to go through with Dot and Dray. I'm glad she got found love and did what was best for her life. Happily ever after in the end😊😊😊

This is a must read!!
I was caught up in this book from the start. I snuck and read ever chance I got. Even at work☺️. I really wanted Dot to get it right. I love the friendship the girls had and I laughed and cried through out the entire book. I love you Jonathan!!!

Exceptional Read
This book series was an excellent read! A page turner for sure. Kammee endured a lot during her young life. Not many people would have been equipped to handle what her momma put her through. I'm glad I was able to read the entire series all at once.

Crazy
Drayton was nuts. I just hope he gets caught and done dirty. Dot was a poor excuse for a mother. How could you treat her so bad and you birthed her? Just because a man don't love you, don't give you the right to treat your child bad. She got what she deserved.

great read
That was a great book and an inspiration to me and many other black Women that came from the struggle. I can’t relate to the motherless love but I totally relate to the abuse by a lover and applaud Kayme and Poetry for being young strong women.
