On the Trail of A Vicious Killer

First let me say this, I didn’t think I would liked this story. For one it’s a murder mystery or so I thought.
But in all reality it’s much more. Not only do you kind of feel bad for the young man who was the killer, you read why he turned this way. You also learn about how a young woman moves with her brother so he can be partners with another man to run a gold mining company. You wait on baited breath when the mine collapsed to see if anyone will survive, then you read about the Marshall who does all he can to help the people in his town.

So I was quite surprised, I really enjoyed this story. Well done author!

An EW. Mining Western Action Adventure (OTTOAVK) (AHWAB)

EW. has penned a minng western action adventure titled, "On the Trail of a Vicious Killer" which begins with a brother and sister arriving in a small western mining operation. They operate the mine at a very good profit margin until they have a cave in. Two men survive. One can barely move and the other turns into a vicious killer on the rampage. After a short spree the man tries to return to work at the mine but he is refused employment because the sister see him as an evil man because of certain events that transpired in the mine after the cave in. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

This is a well crafted story. This is my first book from this author and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I definitely enjoyed the writer’s style. The various story lines are woven together without any confusion about what was happening and to whom. The characters are well developed and seemingly authentic. Are Laura and Jack going to find a happy ever after? There is romance, adventure and intrigue. Fast paced and interesting, I would highly recommend this book.

Really enjoyed the book with all the plot twists. It's nice to read about an honest sheriff. Was disappointed that I couldn't download the extended epilogue. Why don't you just add it at the end of the book. Not every one is computer literate. I'm 80 years old and refuse to spend an hour trying to find the extended epilogue on this book. I have been successful in getting your other extended epilogue.

Epilogue

The story was great, pretty good ending, though predictable.
The problem was the extended epilogue. It would not open.
I really hate extended epilogues. Why can’t you just write it as another chapter.
Now I’ll never know how it ends.

Disappointed…

The first half of the book was pretty good, chasing down a killer, but the second half turned into a western romance novel…. Not what I was expecting.

Tough read

I found so much hate, evil and violence in this book that the “good parts” of the story got lost.
And adding four chapters of the next book is a huge turnoff.
