Sometimes I’m intimidated starting a new fantasy series because the world-building feels tiring in the beginning, but this was paced so well I hardly noticed how much info I was taking in about the continents. The descriptions of every setting are just *chef’s kiss* 👌
After reading ahead to make sure the content is okay, I’m reading it again with my 9 year old. He’s so bought in and is enjoying it. Strong messages about the strength in friendship and found family, and thoughtful reminder that you don’t have to accept the version of yourself that others try to hand you.
