The heroine:Banner Regent (a.k.a. Bruce) - she lives in a posh apartment in New York. Her parents have no time for her as they are busy scientists who are disappointed she didn’t go into a similar field as them.
The Hero(s):Logan Brantley - he grew up in a small town in Kentucky and was looked down upon by the entire town until he joined the Military and returned and bought the local garage. He is now becoming know for his classic car restoration and is one of the most sought after bachelors in town.
The Story: Banner’s best friend Greer has a Gran that lived in Kentucky and the last time she was at the home she left her phone, which Logan found. When Banner texted Greer, it was Logan who answered and they began to chat through text. Both of them become fascinated with each other.
I liked this story and the relationship between Banner and Logan. She was the good time girl who liked to party and the queen of the one night stand. While Logan is the hot bachelor mechanic and business owner in a small town with single women wanting to marry him.
The narration was great. It was done by Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York. Sebastian has done the narration on a lot of the audiobooks I have listened to and he has a great voice for romance. Deep and gravely and perfect for dirty talk. Elena Wolfe does a great job as well.
3.75 This was a good, fun, romance. Something where you read it and you know what you're going to get. I whizzed through it via audiobook. I do love how the hero was this small town stud who was unattainable. I absolutely adore their meet-cute. The drama that the heroine faced because everyone wanted her man was entertaining.
Banner, is the best friend of Dirty Billionaire’s Creighton’s sister, Greer ( The Dirty Girl Duet). Banner, named after the hulk Bruce Banner. She’s her own person who dances to her own tune and doesn’t care who likes her. I didn’t think I would like this add on book from Meghan March’s Dirty series. But I don’t regret reading it. It was humorous and of course there was the love interest, Logan who is a childhood friend of Holly Wix from Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. Logan is a sweetheart with a pure heart and the only one who could tame Wild child Banner. Now onto Greer’s story and soon to be released Cannon’s book Black Sheep. I enjoy reading all of these characters with their own unique personalities.
After reading the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. I couldn’t wait to read Banner’s story, Greer’s BFF, sister of Creighton Kara’s from Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. I wasn’t disappointed. Banner named after The Hulk, Bruce Banner. She’s one of a kind who dances to her tune. The only who can tame her is Logan, you meet him in as the childhood friend of Holly Wix from the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy. Logan is a sweetheart with a kind heart. There all sorts of scenarios in this book. I’m not sorry I picked this one up. At first I thought it was just another add on book. I was wrong it was all sorts of everything.
I recently finished reading a romance novel that I picked up on a whim. The story follows two people who meet through a text message and ends up having a brief affair. However, they don't pursue a relationship. They meet again, when she loses her job and despite initial misunderstandings, they start a relationship.
The girl, ab entrepreneur, moves to a small town where the guy, a mechanic, lives. As they navigate their relationship, they face problems like gossiping townspeople, especially women who dislike the heroine because of her connection to the hero. The town also has issues with meth production and consumption, which leads to police involvement.
The book has some enjoyable moments, like the references to X-Men (the heroine's name is Banner, and the hero's name is Logan). They even name their baby Rogue. I also appreciated the strong female friendships and the refreshing portrayal of a heroine who can lose a fight.
However, the story is predictable, and the entertainment factor is lacking. I expected more from a book advertised as a steamy, fast-paced read. It was an okay read, but I wouldn't revisit it. I'd give it three stars – it's not bad, but it's not excellent either.
Overall, this book was a neutral read for me. It provided a palate cleanser from feel-good books, but it didn't exceed my expectations.

Light entertainment Fun books, a bit fantastical but quite passable storyline, definitely worth reading or listening to due to the steamy scenes. My first books by this author. Might take a second look on her stuff later on. And that is not a bad review, there is a lot of good authors out there and a horde of other authors to test out. The narration is good over all. Elena Wolfe can read anything and is always good as far as I have heard. Same pretty much for Sebastian York, although I did not really love his narration of these stories. But that might be taking a good narrator and judging his work by much higher standards than other mere mortals narrating. However, Elena Wolfe did pass that test.
Woooowee. Flew through this. Super spicy & gets to it quickly. I appreciated the fact that there wasn’t an “crisis” in the book where the couple has to temporarily split up & we “wonder” if they’ll get back together… cause we all know they’ll end up together anyways. Could’ve done without some of the slang that to me just ain’t sexy… who actually calls it “brown town”?!
Audiobook This had both books together, Real Good Man and Real Good Love. One of my favorite narrators, I enjoyed the story, not too much angst in this duet, a nice journey with enjoyable characters and a HEA.
This duology was spicy, angsty with a touch of mystery and great for a many hysterical moments. I definitely adore this author's wit but what she did with Banner Regent's dialogue and comic plot lines was a thing of beauty. Loved it 🤩!
Wow that was pretty terrible. IDK why I just didn’t bother finishing it but I allowed it to play as background noise. Banner is weak and annoying. Their relationship was pathetic and unhealthy. Logan is far from desirable. Definitely won’t me continuing the world series.
I listened to the real dirty duet. Good book - with some instalove/lust. She is living a shit deal of life - he is on top of the world. His girlfriend betrays him and it ends up being the best thing that ever happened to him. They have struggles but they find love! Not overly spicy but enough to keep me interested. (Not sure why this shows up on the REad good Duet - but I didn't read that) I click on read Dirty Duet and it brings me here)
These books a just great, and as audiobooks go, I just can't get tired of their voices. Sultry, sexy, enticing, keeping you going while ignoring the real world. I could live in the world Meghan March's has created any day. Especially if incould find an alpha like all these ladies to.b
