Not everyone can use magic, but it has always been a part of the world, used to expand and enrich the lives of people everywhere. But magic is powerful, and power can be corrupted.
When a dark power sweeps across the land, extinguishing magic wherever it is found, a small region in the mountain tops is caught up in the fray.
Now it is up to Lilith, the newest resident of the Highlands, to travel the world, accompanied by a small group of misfits, and search for the ancient artifact which just might save her home.

White Devil is a young adult fantasy adventure and can be read as a stand alone book or as the sequel to Captain Black Shadow.

The characters from book one now play secondary parts after their pirate ship arrives in a new land. White Devil focuses on Lilith, a young girl who fell from the sky. She can’t remember where she came from, but the local mage offers her shelter in his home. He’s curious about her, as Lilith can understand multiple languages and even speak to animals, but she shows no other magical skills.

In time, Lilith is sent on a quest to retrieve a weapon which might stop dark forces from threatening the land and its people. The quest takes Lilith and her companions away from the Highlands where they live, and as they journey on they meet plenty of interesting inhabitants of the nation.
