In preparation for Paddy joining our family on 21 March, I ordered this book. I really enjoyed reading up on the breed, understanding the difference between working and show springers and other important dos and don'ts for dog owners. Particularly enjoyed the last chapter with stories of working spaniels who'd helped save lives and changed others for the better including detecting the onset of diabetic or epileptic episodes. No regrets in buying this book and certainly no regrets in getting Paddy.
