As I was reading Alyce's poetry book, I decided to dog-ear different pages where I fell in love with the poem or it really spoke to me. The book looked like origami by the end of it! There are just SO many poems that grip the soul and shake it, and help you realise important lessons. I felt so deeply understood by her shared experiences with love, heartbreak, self-love, growth and hope. Her unique and honest voice is so refreshing to read and I could not, to be honest, recommend this book enough.

Alyce is one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met. Her writing is quite the same. This book was a comfort, a friend, an encouragement, and a beautiful expression of all the complexities of being human so perfectly captured. Her views on love, self worth, and the magic that exists in almost everything is infectious. I will be keeping this book nearby to pick up and read anytime I need a reminder of my power and the purpose in hard moments. Highly recommend!
